Farmstay vacation rentals in Civitella in Val di Chiana

This was a beautiful and peaceful stay! The views are out of a magazine and the apartment itself was beautifully rustic. If you want a true countryside experience and to be out of the hustle and bustle, this is for you. The place was perfectly cleaned and fully stocked with everything we may have needed. In addition Sara and Marcelo, the ‘local contacts’ were extremely nice and helpful. We accidentally locked ourselves out one evening and the two were immediately responsive and helped save the day haha. Great place, would recommend if you are looking to have a peaceful countryside experience.

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

We had a lovely time with Cristiana and Sergio. The apartment "La Margherita" was very clean and spacious. The children enjoyed the pool and there was plenty of room for everyone. We received helpful tips and Cristiana was always open to questions and responded very quickly. For chess lovers, there is a beautiful board in a great location. Highly recommended!

Lovely historical city within walking distance and plenty of outside space for the small ones to go on adventure. The communication was smooth, friendly and professional. We will come back for sure😊

A wonderful location. Flavia is an exceptional host: welcome with a tourist introduction to the Val d'Orcia and tasting of the excellent lotus wine (to be bought absolutely, with excellent prices). For every need, Flavia is super helpful and quick to solve problems. The apartment is clean and equipped with everything you need to immerse yourself in country life! Highly recommended.

The only thing I could say negative is the lack of lighting for the kitchen and dining room. For the rest everything is perfect if you like the countryside decor:-)

Our stay at Il Casellino was definitely wonderful. The communication with Lara was very smooth. Our hosts, Remus and Maria, are absolutely outstanding. They do everything to make your holiday perfect. The place is very quiet and the views are breathtaking. It can be pretty hot in Toscany and therefore the big swimmingpool gives the necessary coolness. in short: a perfect place to relax!

The home is highly photo compliant. Very pleasant and green place. Perfect for visiting Florence and its surroundings. The hosts are very welcoming and warm despite the language barrier. I would highly recommend it .

This is one of those rare places that’s even more beautiful in person than in photos. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home, thanks to the warm and welcoming hosts. The landscape is stunning, with breathtaking views, especially at sunrise. Thank you Ian for the nice time. We definitely would love to come back.

La Bulletta has remained in our hearts! The place is enchanting, you are immersed in nature and the location is always well ventilated in the afternoon and night. The pool is an added value,after all our laps a nice bathroom to regenerate was appreciated by everyone. Daniele, with her sister Emanuela and little Lucia, dad and mom are really wonderful, they gave us tips about the surroundings and more. We will definitely be back!!!

Stephen & Jenny are great hosts and their property is amazing! I highly recommend to stay there! Breakfast was very good, the pool is perfect, the views are great! Communication before and during our stay was great - we felt very welcomed! Quick suggestions to improve the apartment: - aircon (but thank you for providing fan!) - would be great if there was a direct access to the kitchen from outside !

Had the best weekend in Giovanni's apartment. Red wine and Toscana's sun set made thus journey unforgettable. Highly recommend for all who are seeking for a quiet, relaxing weekend in the countryside.

Everything is great, great place to stay with a small wellness area. We felt very comfortable!

We had a lovely holiday in Tuscany. The villa is surrounded by beautiful scenery with lots of day trip options nearby. We added on a cooking class with Raimondo and Viola (Nada's daughter) and learnt so much. We will definitely be making fresh pasta from now on! The villa is well equipped, and nicely furnished.

We absolutely loved our stay at Il Torino! The staff were so helpful and kind, and the room was really comfy. It was r free eat to have a kitchen so we could store some food and prep when we wanted a break from going out to eat, though all the local restaurants we went to were so wonderful! We used the pool and tennis courts which were so fun, and the laundry was very helpful. It helps to have a car if you want to do any excursions from the resort. Would recommend to anyone!

This Airbnb was an absolute dream. Perfectly located in the countryside, it offered incredible views of the surrounding vineyards and rolling hills—sunrises and sunsets were simply unforgettable. The property was charming, spotless, and full of character, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were warm and helpful, offering great local tips and making us feel right at home. It was the ideal spot to unwind and experience the beauty of Tuscany. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Magical stay at Paola's. Hard to describe in a few words all the kindness she showed us, we immediately felt at home. Paola picked us up by car at the train station and welcomed us with a nice bottle of wine and pizza - delicious - hard to have a better arrival especially after a long journey. She was very proactive throughout our stay and even took us half a day to Chianti so we could visit a vineyard because we didn't have a car - we still can't believe her generosity! She is very attentive to all her guests and her property is beautiful, we enjoyed the pool and the apartment is wonderfully well decorated and equipped. We highly recommend staying at Paola's, the best Airbnb host we've ever had. Thanks again for everything Paola, you've been wonderful, and we're already dreaming of coming back! Arrivederci! :)

We really enjoyed it there. Unfortunately, we could not use the beautiful swimming pool and the barbecue area due to our tight schedule - we will probably have to come again ;)

We LOVED outrstay here. First of all, Lorenzo was a fantastic host, communicative, available for every need, lovely to talk to. The property is incredible - a beautiful peaceful space to walk around, and some adorable cats to pet. Our favorite things about this space include: the gorgeous outdoor picnic setting for our meals, spotless kitchen with anything you need to cook, complete blackout and silence at night for a restful sleep and privacy. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to explore Tuscany, as this is a great place to stay and a reasonable drive from main Tuscan sites.

An incredible home, beautifully designed and restored. Rob and Illonka were both friendly, fun, and very caring for us. They came to help us when we had car trouble and always gave us fantastic recommendations for everything from parking lots to wonderful restaurants. The property is beautiful and so peaceful. There are plenty of towns and cities close by to visit, our favorites being Assisi, Gubbio, and Perugia. A car is a must, and this home has cylindrical stairs, so not good for anyone wobbly on their feet.

Super happy night, the whole family is very satisfied ~ slept very well!After getting up in the morning, the breakfast at the door with a view was impressive ~ Anyway, highly recommended!
