Kid-friendly vacation rentals in City of Canterbury

nous avons passé un excellent moment dans la charmante maison de Jack. à 2 pas du centre ville le logement est au calme. nous avons apprécié les fleurs sur la table, les bouteilles d'eau et le jus d'orange. c'est des choses qui se perdent sur Airbnb ! par ailleurs la communication avec Jack était très facile.

Wir sind haben Galinas Wohnung für einen 5 tägigen Aufenthalt in Canterbury gemietet. Was uns direkt gefallen hat, war, dass die komplette Wohnung sehr sauber und freundlich war. An Ausstattung hat uns nichts gefehlt. Die Möbel der Küche sind zwar in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles war tiptop in Ordnung und hat funktioniert. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Besondersisg natürlich x Die top Lage in Stadtnähe. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Ein Supermarkt direkt um die Ecke, unser englisches Frühstück konnten wir ebenso in 2 min erreichen, wie den Park oder das Westtor zur Innenstadt. Ich kann kann normalen, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr geliebt haben und wir werden definitiv wiederkommen. Danke an Galina🙏

Our group of 6 had a lovely time. The location was great, just a 10 min walk into the centre of town. It had a parking space and the place had ample room for 6 people. Would recommend.

Good value, 4 decent sized bedrooms, easily walkable to everything

Maurice was a great host, easy to contact and deal with. The "Tiny house" is indeed small but it is also well presented and very comfortable. Also spotlessly clean. Only one small improvement that we would suggest would be a mirror near a socket so that the ladies or gents can dry/straighten hair etc. Otherwise perfect for our requirements. Thank you

Oh what a great place to stay. Within easy walking distance to all the touristy things that need to be done, grocery stores and supermarket (Aldi). We never drove the car anywhere from its private parking spot, avoiding the chat and hassle of parking in town. One of the best appointed Airbnb’s we have stayed in so far.

Reviewing on behalf of my son Will- they were delighted with Helen’s place. All as described, great inside, good location and on street parking- in Whitstable, a real bonus! Helen shared a lovely pub recommendation which they enjoyed, responded quickly and was very helpful with arranging check in as convenient. Helen also retrieved a very eagerly anticipated artisan brownie for them that had got left behind!😊

I would highly recommend Anna’s basement apartment! Great space and she’s a very communicative host!

If you want sea and beach views together with convenience of being close to town with its various pubs, local bakery and restaurants then this is the place to be. The balcony is great for people watching, sea views and sunsets: the weather was great. Thanks, Josie.

Lisa’s place was incredibly clean and very close to all the touristy bits! It was easy to find and only a 20 minute walk from the train station. Lisa provided us with all the promised amenities and if I visit Canterbury again, I’d be sure to stay at her place!

Genevieve’s flat was lovely, perfect location and beautifully decorated. So close to the train station, beaches and all of Margate’s restaurants. Would highly recommend for a trip to the coast

Daniel and Erica's place is lovely, we stayed two nights with kids and it was a perfect base for exploring Whitstable, walking into town down the Crab and Winkle Way each day. They were super responsive, friendly and flexible, sending loads of great recommendations that were tailored to us (we came on the train so they gave great walking / cycling tips!). The flat is spacious, calm, comfortable, clean and homely - a welcome retreat from the busy centre of Whitstable. Highly recommended.

A well equipped small apartment with all the space available used to the best advantage. All you could wish for.

Enjoyed our second visit with Antony and Gonzalo. Had stayed 6 weeks in 2019 and became friends with them then. Made it a point to spend 3 nights with them on this trip and it felt like old home week. Antony is very knowledgeable about architecture and grand British homes so he can offer advice on where you may be able to see historic buildings and interesting houses. We hope to visit with them again on any future trip to England.

We had a fab few days . The flat is lovely...has everything you need, lovely decor, very comfy sofa and bed. Good places to eat within a few steps and easy to get to the pier and other spots. Bifold doors open onto the balcony which is a great place to sit and watch the world go by. Road is busy but once doors shut the flat is quiet...especially the bedroom. Slept very well on the comfy bed. Would recommend highly.

A lovely little bolt hole - very comfortable and exactly what we needed for a night away ….. we very much appreciated the pastries - that was a lovely surprise…… the bed didn’t suit my back but the mrs slept like a log so horses for courses …. Was a little bright and toasty with one of the blinds missing but overall a ten out of ten - many thanks to Emma for being a fantastic host ….. highly recommended

The apartment was very comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The wood-burning stove and the terrace with its peaceful view were definite highlights.

Angela was a lovely responsive host. Very welcoming. Her place was lovely spacious. The kitchen was well equipped!!! She left some milk in the fridge for us which was thoughtful and also some chocolate treats! Thank you Angela!!! We will definitely be returning!! We would definitely be returning.

A great weekend away. The flat was exactly as described and had everything we could possibly need - including lots of little extras. Having air-con in both the living area and bedroom was perfect. Communication was excellent.

We loved our weekend break at The Piglets Penthouse in Whitstable. Heather & Terry's holiday home is the perfect size and location, with a beautiful interior packed full of little gems. The bright mornings were so enjoyable, and we loved sitting out the front with a bottle of wine as the sun was setting. I couldn't recommend this spot any higher. Very walkable into the high steeet and beach area, and Heather provided many fantastic suggestions. Thank you very much for a lovely weekend.
