We really enjoyed our stay at The Piggery. It is an attractively decorated cottage and everything that you need for your stay is provided. The setting is peaceful and picturesque and there are lots of things to do nearby. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and there are some lovely walks just outside the door.

Cosy converted cow shed near Tenterden

AaronRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the most wonderful stay at Alice and Alan's cozy cowshed! The space was incredibly warm and inviting, providing a perfect retreat for both of us. Alice and Alan were exceptional hosts, always available to offer assistance and making sure we had everything we needed. They even allowed us to use their beautiful garden, which was such a lovely bonus. One of the highlights was when Alice and Alan kindly offered to drop us into town, saving us the hassle of getting a taxi. They also gave us great recommendations for cabs to get home later on. The stay was extremely nice, and we absolutely loved every moment. We would 100% go back and highly recommend this wonderful spot to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing getaway!

And relax.....This was a great find. Felt rural but close to all amenities. So much to do within an hours drive it really was a struggle to decide! Emma was super helpful and friendly, offering tips for where to eat and visit. When we realised the EV charging was limited to a 3-pin plug, she loaned us hers (and her parking spot!) so we could charge overnight :) You really can't go wrong with this beautiful place for kids and adults - perfect getaway 😍

My 5 year old daughter and I spent a night here and it was absolutely blissful. She woke up and immediately wanted to see the lambs and spend time with a dog wandering around. We will be back as both she and I enjoyed it so much. Charlotte was so kind and even gave me some toothpaste I'd forgotten. Book if you can!

We had a perfect weekend stay whilst attending a wedding at Cliffe Church and Cooling Castle. The accommodation was a 5 minute walk to the church and 5 minute drive to Cooling Castle, which was extremely convenient with two small children. The accommodation was beautiful, surprisingly spacious and clean. The parking facilities were great and the accommodation was very easy to find. We would definitely stay again when visiting the local area. Thanks Gabrielle 😊

The Flint Barn at Quex Park Estate

MichelleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved the barn for a family celebration with young kids. It was so spacious and incredibly clean and perfect for us all. We loved the hot tub which was completely private and also the location right by the amazing farm shop which made it so much easier knowing we did not have to bring lots with us. There is a little play area out front of the house which the kids loved and we went to the farm park on the estate too. It’s by some beautiful beaches and countryside and we could not have chosen a better place that suited all our needs. (One small thing to flag is the 2 single beds that are up a ladder I thought would be perfect for my 5 & 7 year old but it’s not suitable for younger children as there is a big hole and a steep ladder if they woke up in the night - it was no problem as they slept in a double instead and the older kids went up there but just to be aware) We would go back in a heartbeat and loved it so so much. Thank you!

I visited there with my parents and my baby and we absolutely loved this place. Beautiful house with everything you need, should say more beautiful than the pictures. We were lucky to see sunshine and the snowfall both during our stay and with those large glass floor to ceiling windows it was pleasure. The house was very spacious and my baby loved it as he got so much to explore and running around. Tony was very helpful and responsive for any queries we had. We will definitely visit again.

Valley View Barn

MarieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Valley View Barn is a lovely cottage, furnished to a very high standard, with so many personal touches to make you feel at home straight away. The cottage is set in beautiful countryside with a view you don't tire of. The setting is very peaceful with walks from the front door. Jean was a super host, friendly & helpful. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very cosy to stay in. And the welcome treats on arrival were much enjoyed. Just a 10 minute drive to the Canterbury Park & ride for anyone wanted to visit the city. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Sandras home was wonderful. The home is absolutely stunning with lots of space for everyone. The space was clean and inviting and amazing for hosting our family getaway. Sandra gracefully allowed our Dog to stay in her home and he loved it. The best part was the cows which greet you at the fence at the back of the home every other day. A wonderful home which was even better than described.

Bokes Barn

TrevorRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We stayed at Bokes barn for three nights in June 2024. It was for a reunion of friends. Six guys from school. Who were mates from eleven years old until twenty one years old when four of the crew went off to Australia and Canada. And the other two settled into married life. This was the first time we had been reunited for fifty two years. The barn was perfect. Six couples. Six en-suite rooms. It was spotlessly clean Extremely well equipped. With high end equipment and furnishings. Everything worked We all had the best time. We had fun in the games room I am happy to recommend this venue to anyone. You would be hard pressed to find somewhere better. Trevor Howell

The Long Stable: Rural, spacious, fast Wifi

ArneRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We really enjoyed our Easter week stay at the The Long Stable. Andrew and his wife were very welcoming and supportive hosts. The location is idyllic, very quiet and private, even if other farm buildings are nearby you won‘t be disturbed and can make the most of the huge terrace. The cottage is very tastefully furnished and everything is to a high standard. All mod cons are available and the kitchen is fully equipped so wie could enjoy cooking ourselves as well as trying out some of the many pubs and restaurants within easy reach by car. You can stroll around the farm or nearby woods at your leisure, we particulary enjoyed saying hello to the newborn lambs one of which we were allowed to feed as well. The farm is ideally located to visit the coast (recommending Rye Harbour Nature Reserve), National Trust Sites like Sissinghurst or Bateman or simply enjoy the countryside
you really are spoilt for choice. We highly recommend The Long Stable and would love to return for a longer stay.

Our stay at Tillingham View was so lovely. The property is exactly like it is in photos - the garden and view are incredible. I'd highly recommend staying here.

This is one of the best places we stayed at. It matched what we were looking for and were promised by the description and photo's. The weather was great but even if it was not so good, we would have enjoyed the place, cozy with the log burner. Given circumstances we would not hesitate to book it again and again. Great place!!
