Charming house in the countryside, quiet, perfectly equipped and impeccably tidy/cleaned! The accommodation is very nice and in a beautiful environment, in close proximity to the greenway. The garden is a plus! Marie-Christine is a friendly, responsive and helpful host! We loved our stay!

The house - beautiful, an old building, high rooms, wonderfully cool even at over 30 degrees, if you close and darken windows and doors during the day. A wide cuddle sofa and a good TV for the evening. Despite the city, very quiet; now in June in the evening when opening the windows, the calls of the swallows and other birds and sweet scent (linden?)A nice little garden. Everything is very tasteful and stylishly furnished, very good beds - we would have liked to take the mattresses with us ;))). Everything is very clean. We recommend the second bakery on Rue Claude Bernard - also good patisserie, and the restaurant Sous les Tilleuils-, rue judaique - very good value for money, a young creative cook, charming, relaxed service. Excursion: definitely Brantome, pretty town, surrounded by the river, with boat trip (definitely recommended, nice staff, information sheets in English, German and Spanish), and from there Bimbillou Museum, bar and food truck-shady island in the middle of the river.

We enjoyed this simple but very well-equipped cottage and very pleasant to stay in, especially with young children (indoor and outdoor games available). The garden is a real plus. We had the pleasure of staying with Anne and met a lovely host, full of good humor. She made sure we didn't miss anything for our stay without being intrusive. The accommodation is even nicer in real life than in the photos, the calm there is master, you will find something to do in the accommodation or there is no shortage of activities in the surroundings. We're already thinking about when we'll be back.

This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.

Bernard and a great host. very welcoming, very clear about the rules and its vegetable garden is magnificent. it's nice to arrive at someone who keeps the original spirit of air BnB. the cottage is as described very accessible by car and within reach of many shops.

The swallows' nest is not just a pretty name: it is a real nest of greenery from which observing the flight of birds provides infinite pleasure! On these hot days, we enjoyed the charm of the garden, the freshness of the pool and the comfort of the accommodation. Cyril is a discreet and helpful host. We'll be happy to go back

Great location, within minutes walking to restaurants, attractions and main areas. Parking along the river is free and easy to access, about a minutes walk to apartment. The thick walls of the apartment, three layers of glass, kept out the heat and noise during a few very hot days in Périgueux. Apartment has all you need, and so much character. Lots to do in the region, easy driving to Brantome, Bourdielles and many other lovely towns. Lovely to meet Nicole, very friendly and welcoming.

clean, functional and welcoming accommodation. located in a small quiet and peaceful street. very good mattress. high-quality linens that smelled like laundry... Michel was not present when we arrived, but had sent us clear and precise explanations for entering the accommodation. very responsive to our messages. a homemade aperitif was waiting for us in the fridge... nice touch. little extra, the private parking space. everything was perfect. thank you.

We loved our apartment. It was very clean, comfortable, and right next to the beautiful Perigueux Cathedral. Parking on the street was very easy. The apartment met every need. The bed was great, and the area was quiet. The best was the responsiveness of the management team….they were quick, kind and professional. We had a minor issue with the Wi-Fi, and it was managed immediately. We managed those 13th century stairs, and we are in our early 70’s! Highly recommend, and would book again with this management team. I feel like we stayed in a very unique property. Thank you for a great stay.

Great apartment right in the center of Sarlat's market area! It is very cozy and provides easy access to all the town has to offer. Parking was very convenient nearby as well.

Stephanie was a fantastic host who was a pleasure to meet and taking the time to tell us about all the local places to visit and her apartment was ideally located for walking into Sarlat town centre in just a couple of minutes and it was a very enjoyable 3 day stay, thanks David and Teresa

Pascal welcomed us with friendliness to this accommodation which perfectly matches the description given in the listing. 5 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat, this tastefully decorated apartment has all the comforts you need for a "cozy" stay at Sandrine and Pascal's. We would come back for a future stay in this beautiful Périgord Noir.

Sarlat was special to us! With Christmas approaching, it was complete. The city is small but charming! The Christmas market, very cheerful and welcoming, made a place in our hearts! It was a great place to choose and visit numerous sites in the region. The apartment is exactly as described. The cost-benefit was valuable to us. If I had known Sarlat before, as well as the apartment, I would spend Christmas there! It would have been magical! Thanks host! I'll be back if the world doesn't end first!

The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.

Great stay at Gloria's, who is welcoming. The accommodation is quiet and functional. The small terrace for eating out is very nice. I highly recommend it and we'll be happy to come back for a future stay.

My wife and I stayed at this apartment recently for seven nights. Communication with the host, Muriel, was excellent from start to finish. Check in and out was straight forward as Muriel picked us up at the station and her husband dropped us off. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, only a two or three minute walk from the centre. It is well equipped for making meals, despite not having an oven, has a lovely balcony and is quiet, especially at night. It also has the bonus of an underground parking space although a small car is required. I would certainly recommend this apartment as a base for staying in beautiful Sarlat and visiting surrounding areas.
