Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Centre County

This was day 5 of a 6 day motorcycle trip. It’s super conveniently located at the very end of a culdesac. Private and beautiful! If you’re a nittany lions fan, this place is a dream! 10/10

We had a very nice stay as we visited the area to celebrate Christmas with my family. The hosts had a robust welcome basket with a variety of goodies (which we didn’t get a chance to dig into unfortunately lol). The place was very clean and homey. It was perfect for my wife and I, and our pets.

The location was ideal, close to everything we needed to do but also peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The property was spotless and stocked with everything we could possibly need, everyone loved the snacks and all the information that Kathy provided. The place was fantastic and would highly recommend for anyone with plans in Happy Valley!

Perfect place for a family getaway! The neighborhood was nice and quiet with the cutest park across the street. The space was clean and organized- very easy to find what you needed. The hosts are incredibly responsive and kind! Thank you for having us!

Just what we needed for traveling to the area with family. We were there for kayak races. this was between locations, private, and comfortable. Mel came right away and helped us adjust the thermostat. We already want to book for next year.

This was an absolutely amazing location and cozy home to o base out of for a fishing week! We loved the house and the flexibility for the crew we had in for the week. Would definitely recommend and be back.

Everything was great. The space was beautifully decorated and clean. The outside tables next to the winery were a great place to spend time with family and friends

Easy check in and out. Check the website for the Gamble Mill to get info on the bar and restaurant downstairs. We stayed on a Tuesday night; It was totally quiet. Location is steps away from the river walk and multiple parks. Room was clean and as described. Hope to stay again next time we are passing by!

This was our second stay. The space was quite comfortable and adequate for our needs. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than we had planned.

Brenda is wonderful. Very responsive and helpful. The apartment was comfortable with all the details in place. Easy checkin and out. I would love to stay again in the future if available and got to meet Brenda before I left on my drive home. That was the best part!

Met up with a few girlfriends from college and we had a great time staying at Rada’s place. The unit was clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. Rada was helpful and responsive when we had questions!

The apartment was charming on a quiet street abs was decorated wiry lots of Penn State pictures and even reproduction of the Lion Shrine ! Leroy and Kelley were very responsive to my questions and flexible as we added our daughter to the trip who slept very comfortably on the apartment couch. Special treat was a picture of Penn State’a only Heisman Trophy winner John Cappaletti who also went to my high school (Monsignor Bonner.)

William was very friendly and accommodating. We were only there for 2 night and didn't interact much with the host but we also didn't need anything above and beyond what was already provided. Nice home in a nice neighborhood. We appreciated our stay and would consider returning in the future.

This was my second stay here. Irina is always responsive, and the place was renovated. Plenty of parking and outdoor space. The stream and wildlife was beautiful. Her son Dan is incredibly helpful and kind. We had a nice stay.

My wife and I stayed at Irina's place for a month and really enjoyed it. The room was super comfortable, and Dan was always kind and helpful. He even brought us water and let us borrow bicycles. There was a short power outage at the end, but it became a fun memory. The only thing to note is that it’s better to have a car, since there’s no public transport to State College. Overall, a great stay in a quiet, safe neighborhood near a lovely river. Thanks so much, Irina and Dan!

The place was perfect! The creek behind was filled with trout and the location was close to surrounding fishing spots as well. Never needed to go more than 10min away from the condo. Clean and well maintained by Dan.
