Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Centre County

This is the second time we have stayed in this home. When we found out our basketball tournament was in State College again, the kids requested we book the same place as last time. It’s the perfect spot for our kids and their friends!

Natalia had a perfect house!! It was exactly as the pictures showed, and better! The house was immaculate, comfortable, beautifully decorated and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. The coffee bar was a huge hit and the outside patio was beautiful and comfortable for evening cocktails. Communications with Natalia were wonderful and check in was easy. We are hoping to come back next year!!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was very accommodating for our wedding along with the location that went along with the wedding venue. It was very peaceful and quiet place to stay. Enjoyed it very much.

Nice, old rustic house has been modernized with nice decor. Jennifer was responsive and such a sweetheart. There were multiple folded towels and washcloths on each bed with a chocolate mint added, various toiletries multiple throws/blankets, and TVs in every BR. I brought my service dog and it was a joy to see entrance separators so I could close off the steps outside but sit back on the deck with him and enjoy the weather and view. The game room was a special touch along with the hot tub, and four BRs with Queens and Kings versus smaller size beds (i.e., twin-size or full). The house was fully stocked with everything one would or could use from a myriad of kitchen utensils, kitchenware, spices, etc. Each BR and living areas are individually controlled, which is great, but the the heating/cooling system could use some tweaks and perhaps upgrades. Some cobwebs on the ceilings of one of the bedrooms so some dusting inside and on the deck. Overall, peaceful; loved it!

We had a great stay at this small, cute house while attending an event at Penn State. The home had all the essentials we needed for a comfortable overnight stay, and the quiet neighborhood made it easy to relax. TVs in every room were a nice touch, and the surprise bonus third room—converted from a closet—actually worked out perfectly for our group. It suited our needs well and made for a pleasant visit.

Robert was friendly and responsive. The space is clean, new, and inviting. If we hadn't been so busy with graduation activities, we would have loved to have spent time relaxing under the party lights in the yard.

Kevin is an incredibly hospitable host, and the accommodations were very comfortable. The peaceful wooded setting made for a relaxing stay. The only downside is that the internet connection isn’t the strongest, which is understandable given the remote location—something to keep in mind if you need to work. That said, if you're looking for a quiet retreat, this is the perfect spot! We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

This is our 2nd stay at The Haven and it was outstanding. A great location to go to see Penn State football and then come back to relax in a mountain setting. we will be returning next year.

Amy was so thoughtful with all the small amenities she provided, it made us feel right at home. The fireplace was a cozy plus. the place was spacious and so clean and updated.

This was our second stay. The space was quite comfortable and adequate for our needs. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than we had planned.

Brenda is wonderful. Very responsive and helpful. The apartment was comfortable with all the details in place. Easy checkin and out. I would love to stay again in the future if available and got to meet Brenda before I left on my drive home. That was the best part!

We recently stayed at Veronica’s and Paul’s home, and it was everything we wanted and more! We liked calling it the 3 Cs: Clean, comfortable, and close to campus. They were very nice and accommodating people. There were lots of towels, coffee, and tons of Penn state decor, which was great because we were there for the graduation. As a first time Airbnb user, I’m happy to say it was a total success. Thank you again, Veronica and Paul, for making our graduation weekend stay an amazing experience!

A wonderful stay for our son’s PSU graduation. The house is located in a peaceful, beautiful country setting close to PSU. We enjoyed the view from the outdoor seating area. The beds were very comfortable. A great deal to stay this close to PSU on graduation weekend!! Peggy was very responsive. I highly recommend.

We stayed here for the Penn State playoff game and it was perfect. The location is near the stadium and its easy to get there and back from downtown after a night out. Its a beautiful and comfortable place with a fantastic fireplace and TV. The kitchenette is a nice touch. It is perfect for couple or a few friends on a PSU weekend. Ryan was also extremely helpful, communicative, and helpful. Highly recommend this spot!

Tana's property was exactly as described/shown and worked out great for our PSU weekend (30 minute drive to PSU from Tana's). The unit is super spacious, very clean and was easy to get into. One word of caution; Pay attention to Tana's instructions for getting to the property as your GPS may direct you to take a different way in. We plan to be back again soon and highly recommend Tana's place.
