Tiny house vacation rentals in Central Texas

The pictures did not do this place justice! It was way more beautiful in person! When you first drive in, you are greeted by the cute goats!!! It’s all enclosed and very relaxing and quiet! The cabin was adorable and very well kept! The only downside was the one scorpion we saw! 🤭 can’t stop nature though, and the place was totally worth the scorpion visit. Beautiful and would definitely go back, maybe even try the yurt next time!!!

Cozy place, feels like a mini home away from home. Great location, in a quiet neighborhood, close to all the hot spots Austin has to offer. Would definitely recommend. Loved the furry and feathered pets!

Rebecca is a lovely host was responded quickly from my initial inquiry to follow up questions. Check in was easy and the space was cozy, clean, peaceful, and my favorite part was getting to feed the cows. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning for a visit.

This was a one night stop for us on our way north and it was perfect. We will definitely make reservations for a longer stay. Beautiful view, cowboy pool was great and nice firepit. Can't wait to come back.

This stay was exactly what my husband I needed! I just sat outside and listened to the birds early in the morning, something I also love doing at home. I could've sat outside all day if it wasn't Texas in June! ha! The cabin itself was just as described. The photos do make it seem a bit bigger but honestly, you don't need bigger for 2 people. We went to Canyon to just spend time on the water. After over doing it the first day, we instead, chose to spend our second full day just enjoying the cabin. We had some hot tub time in the afternoon, played board games for a couple of hours, and just rested! For anyone worried about how close the cabin is to the main house, don't worry! It's positioned for privacy! It was so stinking relaxing and I can't wait to go back.

Absolutely loved everything about this place. Perfect location! Very secluded. Beautiful views. Cheryl was very responsive and got back to us immediately every time we needed anything. Her home had everything you could possibly need for a vacation. We will definitely be back to make more wonderful memories with our family.

The place was nice and was big enough to not feel stuffed in a tiny home. The hosts were very friendly and clear with instructions and even gave recommendations. The only thing I would make a tiny complaint about is that there are no paper towels. I also think a bath mat would be great, so that water wouldn’t get everywhere when exciting the bathroom.

This place was amazing! We had such a great time. Our favorite thing about this place was that it was secluded from everything but we were still 10 minutes from Main Street. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I took a short vacation away from our kids at Shelly's cabin and it was beautiful, quiet, and restorative. Exactly what we were looking for. The views of the lake are amazing and we spent hours sitting on the screened-in porch.

Love at first sight! Perfect for a couples get away, plenty of room and things to do outdoors and private. Very clean and decor was very nice. We will definitely be back, we didn’t want to leave!

We had such a great time staying here! Elizabeth provides great local recommendations and the space is perfect! She even had the artist we were visiting Austin to see playing on the tv when we got there! This was our second time staying here and we will definitely be back

A perfect weekend getaway. Just the peaceful environment we were looking for. The space was clean, cozy, plenty of space. The 7.5 acres was so much fun for our 2 dogs to explore. Absolutely nothing negative to say! Thank you!

We have stayed here twice now and have loved it both times. It’s private, peaceful, luxurious, and beautiful. All the benefits of being out in the hill country but close enough to all the fun stuff in Fredericksburg. Can’t wait to stay here again!

My stay at Steef’s place was just what I needed! I felt right at home! The cottage is secluded and quiet which was perfect for feeling the need to reset and rest but it’s also a close walk to shops and bars if you’d like to get out and about! Highly recommend!

Justin and Amy were so very friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We actually hung out with them for a couple hours and they drove us around on their Polaris and allowed my wife to feed their horses. I can’t say enough of how clean and well stocked the house was! If you needed it, it was there. My wife Jan and I have stayed in numerous air b&b’s, and this was our favorite!! The whole experience was amazing! Justin went above and beyond to tell me where to go to have the best time. He knew all the best boat ramps and waypoints that peaked our interest. Amy was so friendly and greeted us upon arriving. If we ever decide to take another vacation in the beautiful hill country of Texas… we would definitely want to stay at this location again! Thanks for the awesome stay Justin and Amy!!

The Knotted Knoll was a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Gorgeous surroundings paired with an adorable cottage full of whimsy. You can tell this home is loved not only by its owner, but all those who visit and stay there. Unique touches make you feel at home the moment you walk through the door. From the monogrammed apron in the kitchen, to the cozy linens on the bed and couches, it’s like visiting an old friend’s home. Dogs are truly welcomed with food bowls, treats and toys galore. I highly recommend staying at Kenny’s cozy cottage at knotted knoll. We can’t wait to be back for more as a family of 3.

Loved this place! Butch and Elena were amazing hosts, super responsive and went out of their way to make the place feel like home. So much thought and care was put in to this little slice of heaven and it shows. 10 outta 10 recommend! Make sure to check out the local recommendations notebook for some awesome places!

The deck hammock and location of this home is amazing, it really showed a different side to Texas with real mountain feels and views. It definitely feels like you’re on an out of state vacation. Enjoyed our stay!

We had such a fantastic experience at this charming Airbnb! We were particularly impressed by the sense of privacy and the truly breathtaking view, which made for a very relaxing getaway. Despite its tiny footprint, the space is incredibly functional and thoughtfully equipped with everything one could possibly need. Our daughters were thrilled to use the well-appointed kitchen to bake cookies, which was a highlight for them! We also thoroughly enjoyed exploring the amazing walking trail right nearby, adding another layer of enjoyment to our stay. Our host was absolutely delightful – so sweet, responsive, and genuinely attentive to our needs. Their hospitality truly enhanced our visit. We were so impressed that we're already checking our calendars, hoping to book another stay here in the near future. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a private escape with a view!

6 out of 5 stars! Charming, quiet cabin in an absolutely beautiful location. For wildlife lovers—we encountered deer, a fox, a roadrunner, and countless birds on the property. We have never had a better experience at an AirBnb. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home and were always responsive and friendly. Looking forward to coming back to this magical place again soon!
