Cottage vacation rentals in Central Texas

The cabin was cozy and private which is what we were looking for this weekend. The lake was very low and we were a little disappointed that we didn't get to fish, but everything else was perfect. We hope to go to Lilian Farms in the future and to do a little fishing while there.

Our second time staying at Susie's House. Location is next to the trail system for our bike riding and great restaurants. Kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room are fully stocked with supplies for whatever you may need for your stay.

Loved my stay here! Can't wait to come back for future trips!

We had a ton of fun at this adorable and perfectly designed cottage. It's perfect for a girl's trip, has everything you need, great location, great amenities, and adorable inside. The hot tub was perfectly warm, we loved the jets. Everything in the cottage is place "just so," showing how thoughtful Lori and Mandy are as hosts. All the furniture and beds were comfy cozy. We had such a great time!

We had a wonderful time at Ramsay’s Cottage! The property was beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and short walk to the private park. The house was comfy and had everything we needed. It really felt like the hosts thought of everything - we had everything we could have needed. The cookies from Charles were icing on the cake to a perfect weekend! We would love to stay here again.

Karen and Mikes cabin was just what we needed for a peaceful weekend getaway. 10 for 10 would highly recommend. Mike met us the first night, showed us in, gave us some very good knowledge of the surrounding area. Had the pleasure of getting to talk to them both at breakfast our last day. Do NOT miss out on breakfast, very much worth it, we did one morning, should have done both mornings we were there. Hot tub was a nice touch, and we throughly enjoyed the outdoor shower. Bed was very comfy and our first night slept listening to the rain on the metal roof, just by luck but was peaceful. Certainly can’t wait for another weekend here. If you’re on the fence of booking, don’t be, just go for it!!!

Charming, cozy and quiet cabin out in the country with just a short 20-25 minute drive to BCS. Cabin was very clean, exactly as described. The beds were comfortable and the couch was awesome!!! Had a great stay and it will definitely be on our list to visit again.

This was a great place to stay! My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend in Fredericksburg for a wedding and it was the perfect size for two people. Is smaller but not near as small as I was expecting, plenty of room for a two person weekend get away! Perfect location to the main strip, it was walkable! Checkin and out was super easy! Would happily come back :)

This was a wonderful place for our family getaway. The house was well located and met all our needs. Loved hanging out in the backyard and enjoyed having the Cornhole game which even had my elderly mom tossing beanbags and laughing.

If anyone wants to become a host - this is the place to go to see how it is done. Felt right at home, clear instructions, minutes to everything - dining, music, antiques and the Bluebonnet festival. All the amenities and essentials were there for you no matter what you wanted to do - Cooking, ...... This is the place that makes you fall in love with Brenham.

The home we stayed in was lovely. The inside was beautiful and well stocked with pots , pans, washing machine, dryer-just like home. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept like a baby. The house is 35 minutes away from college station and the drive was direct and pleasant to and from college station. Easy to find even at night-there was a big sign on the road so you would not miss it. I would rent this home again and we had a lovely weekend. We were there for family weekend. The host, house and the surroundings was fabulous and I would suggest this rental to anyone. The porch was so lovely-there is a swing and I had my coffee in the morning on that swing. They came out to greet us on arrival. Very friendly and responsive to questions. Place was perfect for us and my dogs.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location and very quiet and peaceful. We had a small issue with something but Jane went over and above to resolve it. We would definitely return and hope to in the future.

We had a great stay at Cassie’s home. The place was super clean and had all the amenities for a short or longer stay. We stayed over a week and enjoyed every minute. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and everyone reported sleeping very well. High end linens and very comfortable mattresses. The bathrooms were pristine and perfect for a group. The way the house is laid out, there was ample room to enjoy being together but also if you wanted privacy it was equipped for that too. There are two kitchen areas and both were well stocked and had everything needed to prepare meals. Location was perfect. You’re out away from Waco hustle and bustle, but super close to go and enjoy all the sites. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We hope to be back when visiting Waco again. Perfect place for folks visiting their kids at TSTC or Baylor.

Sir Don and Miss Suann are warm, friendly, flexible, and very responsive. Their place offers a rustic feel and a scenic outdoor with occasional visits from the deer and a dog. Water, coffee, tea, lots of condiments, and even fresh eggs are provided as well! Thanks very much again Sir Don and Miss Suann. Hope to visit you again in the near future! 💖

We loved the house and the interior decor was beautiful. It’s an extremely charming home with French country vibes. The beds were more comfortable than ours at home and the linens were very cozy. Everything was spotless clean and getting in and out was very easy. The host was so kind and even wrote me a birthday card and left flowers. We did not walk to Main Street because we have children and they wouldn’t have made it haha. But the drive was only a few minutes and there was plenty of parking on the side streets. We will definitely stay here again!

Jean was a very helpful host was there when I needed her and was such a friendly person to rent from ! It was my first time renting an Airbnb and she has definitely set the bar, I hope to visit her place soon it was a very enjoyable experience.

Loved it here! This was a great find. It was a nice clean room overlooking the river and was on very pretty grounds alongside other rentable cabins. The Spicewood location right on the Pedernales and along lake travis was wonderful, truly waterside with easy access to the kayaks/canoes/paddleboards which you can rent through Travis quickly and conveniently. After sunset I had plenty of room to set up my telescope and had a great view of the moon and stars over the water. It’s right down the street from Krause and several other hillcountry gems. Great host. I’d totally come back.
