Ryan did the research. I instantly felt at home. A haven of coziness. He provided everything, so much more then other affordable Airbnb's. He was very considerate when providing amenity. Gourmet coffee, spices, washer/dryer, toiletries and more. Ryan deserves a big fat 'A'. Thanks for a great stay and being the best Airbnb I've ever been to.

Like myself, I'm sure many people book this for the history and legacy of Yogi Berra and the New York Yankees but the hosts, Mary and Jay are equally important. They are the most wonderful, down-to-earth people. Mary is Yogi's niece so hearing stories about Uncle Yogi was amazing! The house is immaculate and welcoming with Yogi memorabilia. Mary and Jay drove us around the neighborhood on their golf cart to see where Yogi played ball and the wonderful neighborhood called The Hill. As we drove around, folks in their front yards waved hello to Mary. It was a step back in time where neighbors all know and look out for each other. It is a wonderful area with Italian bakeries and restaurants, all within walking distance of the house. Breakfast was ready for us in the mornings (Jay makes a mean breakfast). Even if you're not a Yogi and Yankees fan, you should consider staying here because of the location and the wonderful hosts.

Brandon and Sam’s Place was perfect for us it was close to the city. It was easy to take Ubers. we loved walking down the street to Whole Foods. There was also a beautiful Catholic cathedral with mosaics that we went to go explore around the corner Their place was so homey it felt like we were staying with family!! It was very peaceful and quiet. The bed was so comfortable and cozy! I honestly can’t wait to come back. Brandon and Sam are very generous. We enjoyed a bagel one morning!

Really appreciated the bed and breakfast style accommodations! Larry was extremely down to earth and was super easy to work with, and we enjoyed learning more about the history of the neighborhood (including the amazing botanical gardens). Breakfast each morning was delicious, and seeing the playbills and posters from his past life were a lovely complement to the classic charm of the home.

Teresa is one of the best hosts I came across after staying in many previous Airbnb's. She was very sweet and helpful. Upon our arrival, she prepared amazing welcome snacks and beverages, gave us a tour of the house, which was spectacular and made sure we have everything we need. In the morning, we were greeted by amazing breakfast. I strongly recommend to everyone and will definitely come back if I'm in town next time.

Gleydys was the best host ever! She made us feel so welcome in her home and provided the most delicious breakfast which was a bonus! She shared wonderful history with us and offered great suggestions for surrounding activities and sights. We fel so much love from her and I will definitely return to stay with her again. She's the Best!!!

Vikki is a fabulous Hostess! She's friendly, helpful and I felt very comfortable the minute I stepped into her home. If I'm in the Peoria area again, I would absolutely try to stay with her!! Beautiful, large home and this stay I had my own bathroom! Loved it!! Oh, can't forget to mention Bernice and Kitty! :)

My daughter and I were coming to Hannibal to be vendors at a local steampunk festival. I was looking for a place with some privacy, flexibility, close proximity to the downtown area, and enough space for us to keep our extra wares. I am not one to enjoy staying in overly sanitized cookie-cutter hotels, and I much prefer a historic building with charm & ambience. Kristine's beautiful brick Victorian home, checked off all of those boxes. Not only that, but she makes the most amazing breakfasts, and really goes the extra way for guests. They also have two beautiful kitty cats that live on the property, that would greet us as we came and went. It truly felt like home and everyone was so kind. I would 100% stay again.

Rachelle was amazing! She's friendly, helpful and makes an amazing breakfast! The home is clean and I loved the history of the home she shared with us. Rachelle made us feel comfortable and like we'd been friends forever!

We did one night for a Valentine's getaway and really enjoyed the place. It's cozy, comfortable, and super cute. Uniquely decorated with lots of creature comforts. All the snacks and drinks we could handle. Comfy bed and seating. The stay included dinner with dessert and a breakfast in the morning before we checked out. Everything was delicious especially the banana cake. Yum! We were not able to get out and explore as much as we wanted due to weather, but the surrounding area is beautiful. The little walk we were able to fit in provided for some great photos. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive to everything. We really enjoyed meeting and getting to know them. We highly recommend and would definitely return.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a quick getaway and reserved a two night stay at Blessings. When we booked we knew nothing about Jacksonville and only after I started looking into Blessings MORE did I realize it's an award-winning Bed and Breakfast! Needless to say, the award they received is justified. The home is beautiful inside and out. Their large front porch is my favorite spot. The Innkeeper Gwenn made us feel at home from the moment we stepped inside. Lovely conversation and hospitality. Gwenn told us she's always wanted to be an Innkeeper and you can tell by the way she keeps her home that it's a passion of hers. My favorite meal of our stay was our first breakfast: poached pears with raspberry glaze, coffee, orange juice, fresh waffles with a scoop of ice cream, whipped cream and syrup all next to a big window at a table for two with china and fancy glasses. Decadent? Yes. But isn't a getaway supposed to be? The Tranquility room itself is beautiful. It has a comforting air that let's you know you can put your feet up and relax. The clawed bathtub was glorious. There were multiple robes, extra towels, bath salts and other little details (sewing kit?! fake fireplace that flickers throughout the night?!) that we kept finding around the room. And if that isn't enough, Gwenn offered us milk and cookies at bedtime within 30 minutes of meeting us. Um, yes please. My own mother didn't give me milk and cookies at bedtime! So if you're looking to be treated like you've come home, Gwenn delivers. We'll be back!

Our stay was short quaint and so relaxing before the solar eclipse 2024. We felt right at home and was very happy with how comfy and cozy we felt. The decor was stunning. We hope to return and explore Waterloo! Thank you so much for accommodating us! 🧡

Beautiful B&B! Mike and Chad are great hosts and the house and room were quite lovely! Was the perfect weekend getaway close to all the shops and restaurants. Love all the attention to detail, you’ll want for nothing, as every little thing has been planned for and is there and waiting for you! This little town does not disappoint!

Our stay was great! We were only able to be there for a short while but they were very hospitable and the entire place was very cute and cozy. We also LOVED, Leo, the little orange cat with no tail <3

The dollhouse was an awesome experience! Melissa and her husband were so warm welcoming, very helpful! Cookies were delicious! I would definitely come back!

We enjoyed the location so much we booked the next 2 nights as well. We started with the Garden Room, which was tidy and comfortable, but the next nights we were in the Trail Room which had the bonus of having a full length porch complete with porch swing and beautiful sunrise views. We loved that and spent a good few hours visiting on the port swing! Highly recommend this. Convenient location for trips to Hermann or elsewhere.
