Vacation rentals with breakfast in Central Illinois

Beth is a fabulous host and her home is just gorgeous! So well appointed and kept. Lovely neighborhood and great location. Just all around perfect!!

We played in a SASA soccer tournament. The house is less than 5 minutes to the field. More than likely cheaper than a hotel. It was spacious.. It was nice to have a kitchen and be able to do laundry after games. If we ever play in a tournament in Springfield, I will be rebooking this room. Sometimes tournament hotels can get noisy and crazy.. This was just a nice relaxing weekend. Plenty of places to pick up food within 5 minutes as well. Safe neighborhood..

Eli is the epitome of a thoughtful, caring and considerate host! If all we brought along with us was clothing it would've been enough! There were even chocolate truffles, water, fresh fruit tray, plenty of good coffee & tea and even eggs & waffle mix! There is not enough room here to type all of the items available. Most importantly, his response time is RIGHT NOW if you text him any questions at all. I will definitely book here again when in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Thank you Eli! ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s place. Her home was exactly as described and pictured. She thoughtfully stocked it and made it feel like a pampered resort. My family couldn’t have been more comfortable or at home. Mary was awesome and her home beautiful. If we’re ever traveling through again - we’d stop and stay just for the enjoyment. Highly recommend!

Great location, we had a great time staying here. So much to do within walking distance. Many nice treats for us to enjoy that were left just for us. The movie screen setup was perfect to lounge in the evening after a long day out and about. Comfy furniture and beds. We would stay here again!

Great place to stay in Tower Grove! Super close to lots of places, and walkable to a few restaurants and coffee shops. Perfect location if you want to be near the parks, the Hill, Soulard and downtown. Easy parking on the street. There is parking in the back alley, but it’s pretty tight. We always had a spot right in front.

The place was very clean and Senka was very polite and welcoming!

I felt at home and my stay was relaxing. I would recommend this place for short and long term.

We had an excellent week-long stay in this well furnished apartment situated in a beautiful neighborhood. It was super clean, has modern appliances and a well-functioning (and quiet!) AC system. But I especially liked all the little things that make a huge difference: extra towels, plenty of hangers in the large closet, lots of drawer space in the bedroom, nightstands on both sides of the bed with lamps and USB outlets, a great hairdryer with separate controls for heat and fan, a sunny laundry room with laundry supplies, a bottle of wine…I could go on and on. I will definitely book this place again.

2nd stay at the Lily Pad, but 1st in Pad 3. Clean, cozy, small kitchen appliances, plus the over look of the street was nice! Thanks again!

Diana’s place was awesome. Has character and was very quiet. Diana was very welcoming and met us at the door when we arrived. She was very friendly and made us feel at home. For the accommodation the place is very charming and quaint. Diana handed us some bread for toast and she had the refrigerator stocked with eggs, milk, orange juice, and butter. The bed was comfortable and the whole place is very clean. There was information on St. Louis and list of things to do. We found it very easy to get around with many different types of restaurants nearby. We will definitely book at the GEM again when we back in the area.

Thank you Danni! The space we had booked with you was perfect. The moment we arrived, we notice how each room’s decor provided a modern look & feel which we loved about this space. Also, loved how each room provided all the “essentials” to make our stay pleasurable. Especially the Kitchen area. That was huge for us being able to cook what we wanted and sit altogether while eating. Communicating with you was quite easy. You were able to answer any questions in a timely fashion, with everything we needed to know. Very accommodating. In addition, the area for walks was refreshing and the locals were very very polite! Lots of places to sight see in the area. Lastly, many restaurants to check out for food! Definitely exceeded our expectations. It really felt like our home away from home. Ryan did the research. I instantly felt at home. A haven of coziness. He provided everything, so much more then other affordable Airbnb's. He was very considerate when providing amenity. Gourmet coffee, spices, washer/dryer, toiletries and more. Ryan deserves a big fat 'A'. Thanks for a great stay and being the best Airbnb I've ever been to.

My friends and I really enjoyed our time at the Great House. We made a point to spend time in every room as each room offered a different but classic feel. I have to say, the house really enhanced our trip. I highly recommend staying there. The hosts also provided us with everything we needed from a charcuterie try to a nice simple breakfast. Great experience all around.

Rachelle was amazing! She's friendly, helpful and makes an amazing breakfast! The home is clean and I loved the history of the home she shared with us. Rachelle made us feel comfortable and like we'd been friends forever!

We loved our stay here! The home is walkable to downtown (sidewalks all the way) but in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful garden/patio space. It has a fun, artsy vibe and felt really unique. Jenn was great—she checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

TL;DR: we had a great stay, even if we brought the rain with us. We booked Larry’s pink room for a quick mother-daughter weekend adventure, and it was the perfect fit for us. Strong marks for convenience, price, and comfort (just make sure you can parallel park, that’s 90% of your options in STL). The pink room has a lovely firm mattress (Queen) and good closet space. There’s a small couch by the window which was great for reading when we needed a break from exploring the city. Larry keeps a small fridge in the room with some complementary beverages, plus a triple USB port for easy charging of your devices. Lots of windows if you’re luckier than we were and actually see the sun on your visit. The pink room uses a shared bathroom, which was perfectly fine for us. Larry had lots of great suggestions for local activities/food, and breakfast helped us fuel up for our day! Day one was a full English style breakfast, day two was a lovely veggie frittata and waffles! Would stay again!

Cute home in a cute area of Saint Louis. Made for a comfortable stay. As a local, I appreciated the Saint Louis themed decor and representation in the home. Would be great for out-of-towners.

Vikki has an absolutely beautiful home and we really enjoyed our stay. Honestly, I never rent rooms… we prefer to rent an entire place but with the holidays there wasn’t much available so we decided to take a risk and rent a room from Vikki. Our stay exceeded our expectations on every level. Her rooms are mostly rented by medical professionals. The place is quiet and sparkling clean. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
