Cottage vacation rentals in Central Illinois

Didn’t have to worry about the accommodations so we could enjoy getting together with family.

This was our second visit! Holly is incredibly responsive and made everything easy from start to finish. The home was spotless, very comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with so many amenities—you truly don’t need to leave the property! We loved the peaceful setting, complete with a private lake and dock, and the outdoor hot tub was a perfect touch, especially with the provided robes, towels, and slippers. Quiet, relaxing, and beautifully maintained—highly recommend! It’s a keeper on our list!

We had a lovely stay. it's super cute, private, and quiet. we will definitely book again. there are 13 other cabins to chose from. We also enjoyed the town and near by venues. Cool place❣️

we stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed everything about this place. it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. we enjoyed the steam shower, the swim spa and the lake view. no city lights made for perfect starry nights. we look forward to returning again. hopefully in the near future. this is a phenomenal spot for a couple to get away from it all. we enjoyed having little no signal and no TV in the cabin to get away from screens. it did rain the majority of our second day and we did have a computer to watch a movie on as a back up. the cats and the roosters followed us around and hung out a lot. fishing had some challenges but won't prevent us from returning.

Our family really enjoyed this place! The setup is so versatile leaving plenty of sleeping arrangement options and activity options. We set up ridiculously extensive board games in the gym and the kids loved fishing in the lake and catching froglets at the pond! It was very clean and had all we needed to enjoy our time there.

This is an excellent Airbnb at a truly special location, nestled between two valleys. It was serene and peaceful. We saw tons of birds that I would never see how I been in the middle of the city. They insured that the house was completely immaculate. The beds were very, very comfortable. I never made any contact with the neighbors, but they all seemed really nice! I spotted some wild turkey a few deer and of course the groundhog! The place has a lot of style and some really cool features. We really enjoyed our stay and we’re very grateful for the host!

We loved this house! It was a great place for our family, with everything we needed, including a couple of baby gates to help us corral our three year old and little doggie. Such a charming home with a beautiful little fenced in yard in a peaceful, friendly neighborhood, close to Glen Oak Park and all its fun activities. The hostess was always friendly and responsive to our online questions and made check in and check out a breeze.

The place was great! The name is very appropriate cause it was so cozy!!! We didnt use alof of the amenities cause we were only there for the weekend but overall we loved it! We brought our dogs and they had a blast in the backyard!

We love Innsbrook and always have a good time. We liked this house, but I will put out there as a warning, that the walk down to the dock is VERY steep and may not be the best option for little kids or older guests. The stay was great, but we definitely needed to take caution when walking down the steep walkway to the dock. We were told that repairs are coming for the wood walkway, so we were happy to hear that for future guests.

It was a quick stay but I’m glad we picked this one ! It’s really spacious and Brandon is very accommodating ! Plus the games for the kids were a huge bonus!

Mark is a wonderful host- he has made lots of little touches to make sure the cottage feels cozy and homey. As previous reviews mentioned, there were a few fresh groceries supplied for our stay (which was a touching surprise, even though I read about it in the reviews!) and the bathroom linen closet was also stocked with a few essentials- which came in handy when we forgot something. The space was very clean and comfortable. It’s clear that Mark takes a lot of pride in the upkeep of the cottage! He was also very communicative and responsive. We’re hoping for an opportunity to come back.

This was the second time we've stayed at the Stone Cottage, and it was another great stay! This was perfect for 3 couples. All was clean & well appointed. And the location is terrific. It is really close to walk to everything, but in a quiet neighborhood.

The best place for a family. The neighborhoods are just beautiful! Everyone you encounter throughout the town are extremely friendly. The golfcarts are a must. The kids loved riding through town looking at all the fun attractions. It's worth every penny.

Amy’s cottage was perfect for our one night in the area while attending a wedding. It was very cozy and adorably decorated. The bathroom had any possible item you may have forgotten on your trip. Very easy to find with clear instructions!

This is little house was very convenient to Washington University, felt safe, and had great amenities. There were lots of little touches to make it feel like a home.

The house is exactly as described and what you see in the pics. We felt right at home from the start. It’s in a very quiet area and close to the park. We were able to easily walk across the street and have the beautiful gardens and play areas available to explore. It was a hot weekend and the central air easily kept up with the 100 degree heat. JJ and Sheri are great hosts! They were easy to communicate with and so helpful. They took a video of the pack and play in a few locations and asked where they could set it up for us before we arrived. Great people and I would absolutely stay again.
