Dome vacation rentals in Central California

We did a friends weekend getaway to Paso Robles, and Steven's place was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The house completely blew us away with its cool architecture, artistic furnishings and stunning 360 views of the surrounding vineyards. We loved how the dome shape emphasized communal spaces making cooking and socializing a breeze. Nothing we wanted to do or see in Paso was more than a short drive away but honestly we could have never left the Dome all weekend and been perfectly happy. Thank you Steven for curating this unique space!

This place was wonderful! It has such a cozy and comfortable vibe. It was clean, VERY well stocked with anything we could possibly need, and so cute! I can’t think of anything that could have made it better, other than maybe a longer trip to stay there. I would absolutely recommend the dome to others.

Fantastic place for 2 families with young children! We had a great time and definitely recomend Doug and Lynetta, they have been very communicative with lots of local suggestions! Sad we stayed for only 4 days 😪

The geodome is a unique stay. The cabin was comfortable and and well-styled. An added bonus is that there's plastic kid-friendly bowls, plates, and cups so we didn't need to worry about our young ones breaking anything. The open layout was ideal for our family to socialize while cooking and there's a cute play area upstairs with toys for the kids. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to soak in the stars a night next to the fire pit. Maria was super responsive to all of my messages (responded in a few minutes), which was helpful when I couldn't turn on the washer/dryer since the breaker had tripped. Maria helped me locate the electric panel to flip the breaker and there wasn't any further nuisance tripping. We enjoyed staying at Maria and Jared's geodome and would come back again!

Hilltop Vineyard was a great experience! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views and the serene atmosphere of the property. The dome itself was cozy and beautifully designed, providing all the comforts we needed while immersing us in nature. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic playground for the kids. It kept them entertained for hours, allowing us to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. The property is impeccably clean and well-maintained, giving us peace of mind during our stay. There’s plenty of space to explore, making it perfect for family walks and outdoor activities. Overall, Hilltop Vineyard is a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and create wonderful memories with family and friends!

Place was easy to find (Google took me exactly to the driveway). The house was recently remodeled, with nice, modern bathrooms and a kitchen with open counters, great appliances (love the induction stove!) and a good supply of cooking equipment. Lots of open space surrounding the house made it peaceful and gave space for our dogs to safely run around. There’s a nice small lake within walking distance and we found a good fire road a short distance away for hiking. The geodesic dome is pretty cool - because of its shape, when someone talks to you in the living room from the upstairs balcony, it sounds like they’re right next to you!

the Astral Lotus is a gem, beautifully situated with an epic view and all the comforts you don't expect but are delighted to find in a camping experience. This is a fabulous glamping experience, highly recommend! Hosts are lovely as well.

Beautiful and stunning scenery. Incredible mountain views. The hammock along with all the little touches made this place so relaxing and special. A lot easier to find than described. Romantic and adventurous. Outdoor bathroom was a little rough but clean and provided essentials. Really clean inside the dome. Furnace provided plenty of warmth. Great hiking all around the dome. Would love to go back!

The space was stunning and extremely accommodating. There were lots of luxuries to keep us comfortable. Check in and out, directions, and instructions were all very comprehensive and communicative. 5 out of 5!!!

We had a great time at the Cuddly Bear cabin. The host proactively warmed up the cabin, and set up the spa. It is a very quiet part of Arnold, close to the snow parks and Bear Valley. We also had access to the HOA restaurant and facility, everything within walking distance.

My partner and I had a great time at Wendy and Alan’s cabin. It was beyond our expectations and we wish we booked a longer trip. Perfect for a nice, cozy getaway. We appreciated the nature around us and being able to experience it all. It is a bit far from markets/restaurants but there’s a nice kitchen space to prepare meals… which was honestly the highlight of the trip. Finding the airbnb wasn’t tricky and check in was smooth. Wendy and Alan were very communicative and accommodating as well! We can’t wait to stay here again!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Megan’s Place the Dome! The home was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described in the listing—if not better. The location was perfect for everything I needed, and the neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. Check-in was seamless, and communication with the host was easy and prompt. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. The little touches like complimentary snacks, local guidebook, extra towels, etc. made it feel like a true home away from home. I truly recommend it ! Only bad thing I have to say, wish I stayed longer ! I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again the next time I’m in town. Highly recommended!

Our stay at this Airbnb was great! The farm animals were definitely a plus for us. They were so friendly and spend a good amount of time hanging out with them. The place felt cozy and peaceful. Would come back again!

We had a great stay at the Geodome! My husband and I were looking to have a peaceful weekend retreat in the mountains and this place was perfect. The only thing I'd note is that the kitchenette appliances are pretty sparse, and the only way to heat up food is on the grill outside. Thank you for being great hosts, Sarah and Adam!

place was so peaceful. 2 hours away from Yosemite National Park. make sure to screenshot all instructions of how to arrive before you drive up since service can be spotty.

Would absolutely recommend this place!!! My Wife and I stayed the night.The surroundings were beautiful and the place overall was very convenient everything was very clean and the dome was very nice and cozy. We were able to use the bbq that was provided and enjoy our dinner and the rest of our night under the stars and wake up to a beautiful sunrise. It’s definitely an experience that you don’t want to miss out on!!!😁
