Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Carolina

Perfect location / set up for beach access. It was exactly what we wanted. We also were there during an island wide blackout, and the host was proactive about reaching out to make sure we were okay. Very lovely time.

Shubin was very responsive. The location was great, can’t be any closer to the beach and so much around. It is just as described. I will say we ran into some not very friendly neighbors in the elevator that made it very clear they hate having “unwanted guests” in their building. A tip I will add is make sure you receive your parking space number prior to check in if you have a rental. They will not allow you to enter the gate without it. I spent several minutes stuck as I tried to retrieve that from Shubin. Overall it was worth the visit.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Abby's Airbnb and it was such a lovely experience. The apartment was very clean and cozy. It even had everything we needed for the beach/pool. They provided even the small things like floss, sunscreen, lotion, bug spray etc. Abby was very attentive to our needs and even let us check out two hours later because we had a late evening flight. So grateful for this host!!! We will be back 🩷

We stayed at Francisco’s place the week of Easter and the view was absolutely worth the small bumps of our trip! Fransico, as a host was not only responsive, but proactive in communicating with me when the island lost power just hours after we arrived. Something you might not realize the importance of until you find yourself in a foreign place with no power (1.5 days) and spotty cell phone service. The unit was clean, bedding was comfortable and the amenities matched the description. Local restaurants, First floor of building and elevators ran on a generator. Longe chairs and umbrellas for rent right at our beach ($5/$10) Beach was clean and felt safe. Pool area closed during outage and security on the weekend didn’t allow ANY drinks/food in the pool area. The main road behind the building felt safe but I was surprised by the trash on the streets/sidewalks and heavy police presence. Loud music at night, which you could hear in bed. The view and cross breeze MADE this trip for us!

I loved this place so much I can’t wait to go back. This was an amazing experience the place felt like home and everything about this place was amazing. I had no power for few hours but it was no issues at all. The room was still cool and everything was so clean and just beautiful. The view every morning made my day!!! I can’t wait to be back. I have been staying at Isla Verde Beach for years for long weekends and as a central area when visiting the island. ESJ towers, even tough doesn't have a functional pool area at this time, is still an awesome spot. They now have the lobby bar re-opened and a Cafe in the lobby so awesome if you do not feel like making coffee. You can walk to several restaurants and hotels and the beach is your backyard. Having beach chairs and a cooler available for use as a guest is a plus. Also some kitchen staples like salt, sugar, oil spray. The linen and towels smell awesome. And Juan was gracious and let us check in a couple of hours early and let us stay an extra hour since our flight was later in the day. The view from the balcony is a treasure and one day more beautiful than the next. The beach gets crowded on the weekends, but we always found a spot and without any issues enjoyed the day.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! Ivelisse was incredibly kind and responsive, even answering our messages late at night. She went above and beyond to help us when we made a mistake with our flight dates, showing great flexibility and understanding. Ivelisse also gave us excellent local recommendations, which made our trip even better. The apartment itself is in a perfect location, close to everything we needed, and the facilities—especially the swimming pool—were excellent. It was a wonderful touch that the host personally said goodbye to us when we left. Highly recommend staying here!

Ana’s place was beautiful and so tastefully decorated. It was perfect for a girls trip with 6 people. We really enjoyed the pool and kitchen. Beds were very comfortable, AC was excellent, bathrooms were spacious and had everything we needed. Ana provided us with beach towels, a clothing steamer, lots of throw blankets, nice bathroom products, and the kitchen had everything we needed. She was very communicative and responded very quickly to our questions. A beautiful beach is a 10 minute walk away, all sidewalks, but the area is not very walking friendly. We ubered almost everywhere, but Ubers were cheap and generally came within 5-10 minutes.

Looks just like the pictures, Very clean, easy to access, host was very nice and attentive host also was very helpful with restaurants and places to visit.

This was my first time booking an Airbnb and Stacey and her place truly exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect—convenient, safe, and within walking distance of numerous fantastic restaurants eliminating the need for Uber or other transportation. The neighborhood had a welcoming and friendly atmosphere and even the hotel staff in the area were kind and accommodating. The place itself was clean, comfortable and well-maintained, making my stay even more enjoyable. If I ever find myself traveling to Carolina, PR again, I know exactly where I’ll be staying. I booked this unit same day after a terrible experience with another AirBnB. I was pleasantly surprised that the apartment was exactly as pictured and recently renovated. Colores Luxury Rental was extremely responsive and provided fantastic check-in instructions. I would stay here again.

Dan is a great host. Condo is literally steps from the beach, great restaurants, and the Foxwoods casino. I can’t wait to rebook with him. Don’t skip this one!

It was a lovely home and just as pictured. Only improvements could be that the spin bike seat was broken and there wasn’t two of the hand weights in the same weight. Otherwise, flawless!

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The pool/patio/BBQ area was so beautiful it made it hard to want to leave to go exploring. Cuyler was proactive with providing instructions on how to operate showers, entry way codes, etc. House is very close to a grocery store and restaurants. Bedrooms were spacious and the air conditioning was appreciated. The kitchen had the cookware that we needed for cooking breakfast each morning and the dinning table was spacious enough for a large family. Cuyler was quick to respond when we had a question. The house is in a quiet, gated community which felt safe and not too far from the locations we wanted to visit. We had a great trip and stay!

What a property! This gem has the most gorgeous upstairs apartment. We loved hanging out up there and in the back courtyard. One thing we didn’t realize is that the three first floor bedrooms are actually in two separate apartments. Bedrooms in these units have a/c but not the other areas. The location was incredible. We walked everywhere to explore and eat! Really great hosts and a wonderful spot for a few days of Puerto Rico fun!

We loved our stay so much! This was a great fit for our family of seven. We had lots of beds and plenty of space for everyone. Everything was clean and the furniture was really nice and everything was well taken care of. We really appreciated how there were lots of things there for us to use, like a cooler for us to take our lunches in every day on our adventures, chairs , umbrella, Sand toys, balls — all the things that we could possibly need. Gretchen was really easy to communicate with and always responded very quickly. We would definitely recommend this for anybody! We had a great time. Thank you so much.

Jenny was a great host, super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. She shared great local recommendations, from restaurants to taxi services, and was quick to answer any questions we had. We were a group of 9, and the space was perfect for us. It was clean, cozy, and just as described. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made group meals easy. Would definitely recommend!

After 13 years I finally revisited Puerto Rico and I have to say, for my first time booking an Air B&B , Casa Laguna and crew really took care of me and my family. The best hospitality we’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Cleaner than any hotel you could stay at, beautiful and peaceful, I felt at home.

The home was a perfect location for myself and colleagues as we traveled around San Juan. Cristina was very quick to send instructions and responded quickly to any questions I had for her. A big home with plenty of space. It was a great place to stay and a great price!
