Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Carcassonne

When you get to Marthomis you will be welcomed by the butterflies, the good smell of lavender and the crowing of the rooster. You can go and pet the horses next door. The calm ,the tranquility of the place and the sound of the stream are perfect for making good naps. The house offers many amenities that are not often found in other vacation rentals. Everything is available which adds a plus. The whole family is delighted with their vacation.

This was the most beautiful house we ever spend our holiday. Regine is very kind and her house is so complete and filled with love. She made delicious jam and there was a bottle rose when we arrived. The surrounding is amazing aswell and there are lots of great places nearby to visit. We would definitly recommand this gorgeous home. And we would love to return sometime

Two adults, one child and one teenager we spent 5 nights at Victoria's house. We had a great time. The description given is perfect as the house has everything that is advertised. Communication with Victoria has always been very quick and helpful. As a suggestion by the host, we believe there should be more dishes, glasses, and silverware in order to wash them after each meal. If we were to return to the area, we would not hesitate to accommodate in the same place.

We spent 5 very restful days at Michael's. The cottage is comfortable and well-equipped. The view from the terrace to the pool and garden with the mountains as a backdrop is just beautiful. The pool is very large and we enjoyed it every afternoon. Michael was a very thoughtful host (thank you for the delicious scented lavender cake!). He gave us some good tips for sightseeing and the many hikes possible. We really enjoyed the shaded walk along the Candesoubre, with its small waterfalls, and the visit to Minerve (and the excellent Chantovent restaurant!). We'll be back for sure! Thanks, Michael.

This is our second stay with Heather and it was just as magical as the first. The house has everything we need and feels like a home not a rental property. The area is beautiful and after two visits still feel like there is a lot to discover.

We had a great time in Conilhac. Located in a quiet quarter, the accommodation is impeccable and very well equipped. The pool is very well maintained and allows for pleasant swimming. The garden is a little piece of heaven! Edith and Jan are welcoming and caring hosts, discreet and available whenever needed. We recommend their accommodation without hesitation!

Excellent rental in this village of HOMPS! Tasteful decoration and really nice interior space, functional with beautiful volumes. Extremely pleasant apartment to live in, both indoors and outdoors sheltered from the wind, facing south in winter; it's exceptional! Kitchen is super well-equipped, nothing is missing, dishes, dishwasher, coffee machine, oven, gas stove, in short, complete. The adjustable interior lighting is warm, the radiant interior heating system allows you to have a great time in the warmth in winter. Huge very spacious bathroom with unusual decor. Thank you!!

we are a family of 3 and we had a very nice stay! the accommodation is as described! the owners are very nice discreet and present when we need! very good advice on what to visit and do! the pool is very nice with the big heat we had! if I had to put a downside it would be on the size of the fridge! otherwise everything was very good!:)

Very large, comfortable, clean accommodation where nothing is lacking. The exteriors are perfect too… pool with beautiful views, hot tub, children's games, barbecue … A place to recommend where we'll come back! I'm not going to say a lot because it's just one of the best places to disconnect I've been able to do, both in terms of the energy of the place, and the forest that surrounds it! We had an amazing stay! The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The jacuzzi was a fantastic addition, adding to the overall tranquility of the experience. We LOVED IT!!!! A super original experience to do as a family: unusual accommodation for children but very comfortable for parents. It's well thought out, super cute, well-equipped outdoor kitchen, enough to make a fire to grill marshmallows. We should have taken one more night. Tip: the teepees are a little transparent, transparent bring an eye mask if you are sensitive to light.
