Cottage vacation rentals in Carcassonne

A huge THANK YOU to Jean Louis without forgetting Sophie and her delicious dinner. An outstanding cook we had a very nice evening around wine tastings from the estate. the lodge is very well located in the heart of the vineyard estate notice to lovers of tranquility it is the ideal place. The lodge is perfectly equipped and very well decorated, what a pleasure to enjoy the scenery of the terrace and pool. We highly recommend this lodge and everything with it. Limoux is only 10 min by car,with all the amenities needed for the holidays. Very beautiful things to discover in terms of tourism in the surroundings. Thank you again Jean Louis and Sophie, happy end of season to you and beautiful harvest too 🤗

Chris and Paul are really attentive to their customers. The cottage is quiet, the pool and jacuzzi are cleaned every day, the rental is very well thought out! All you have to do is show up! I highly recommend this cottage. We'll be happy to come back.

Chris and Paul are great guys, so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Eloi Merle is such a beautiful place that this was my second visit. First I stayed in one of the wonderful bedrooms in the main house, and this time in one of their gorgeous gites. The gardens were fabulous as was the spotless pool and jacuzzi. Olonzac is a lovely place to visit, with great restaurants, cafes, and very friendly people. Nothing was too much trouble for these two wonderful, hardworking gentlemen, and I will definitely return.

The house was absolutely pristine. Quiet surroundings. Great garden. Just the mattresses were a bit to hard for my taste. But others will like it I’m sure. Fantastic hot tub and amenities. Highly Recommendable!

Our stay at André's went very well, we enjoyed the pool, the jacuzzi and the very quiet environment. Also, the weather was great. I thank André and his wife who were very discreet. Finally, the area is very touristy par excellence. To be repeated, next time.

We had a pleasant weekend in this green setting! The house is very quiet, clean and very well-equipped, perfect for a 100% disconnect weekend!! Great welcome by the owner, attentive and available. A big thank you 😊

Very pleasant stay at Esmée's. House is very cute, well-decorated and comfortable. A plus for the game room which is really nice with its giant screen and the garden to fall! The only downside I could find is that it is not specified in the listing that the hot tub as well as the games room are shared with the second air BnB. Other than that, that's great!!

Well what can we say? Chris and Paul are the most perfect hosts of a perfect house, gites, garden and pool. Attentive but always aware of our space. They shared their knowledge of the area and made excellent recommendations - which we thoroughly enjoyed. We were looking for a relaxing holiday and our peaceful base in Lavande provided this over and above. Chris and Paul, you truly have something special!

Really loved our stay. A rustic, peaceful cottage not too far from Carcassonne. An extremely helpful host with lots of knowledge of the surrounding areas. We came with our 2 year old daughter who enjoyed the play area, the baby goats and running around nature. Will definitely be back again!

We were able to celebrate our civil partnership with 20 of our friends and the Grange du Soleil was the perfect place. All the amenities were very well thought out, both indoors and outdoors to be able to party but also to enjoy nature. The setting is ideal, very beautiful and without neighbors. Thierry and his wife were very welcoming and available, check-in, communication and checkout were very easy and pleasant. We highly recommend the barn and will think of it for our next events! 😊

We really enjoyed our stay with Amy and Duncan! It's a beautiful place, really peaceful with gorgeous views, and it was so nice to have the pool! Duncan and Amy were very friendly hosts - we felt right at home :) It's an ideal location if you have a car and you want to travel around a bit - within an hour or two of a drive there are lots of places to see and things to do - castles, caves, mountains, lovely towns with beautiful old buildings. We would definitely go back here, and will be recommending it to our friends!

Great weekend with friends in this beautiful home . Erfan is very friendly and accommodating . The house is very beautiful with its large terrace facing the Pyrenees. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, very convenient when you are in large numbers . A very nice place for a relaxing stay in the green.

Arrived safely, small communal parking for 6 cars maximum so can sometimes be a problem to park if you arrive with three cars. We had no problem with two cars. Warm and charming accommodation, magnificent view, satisfactory home equipment. Very cool, we didn't need to use the air conditioning when it was 32 degrees outside. A little rooster stays next door and will not fail to remind you of the time, sometimes very, very early (4:30 a.m. every night and then every hour). A little reminder to close the windows and continue your night in the countryside! In terms of shopping and local activity, you will need to take the car in all circumstances because the options on foot are extremely limited. But it goes hand in hand with the quiet location, without city lighting, allowing you to admire the celestial vault and shooting stars.

It was a real pleasure to stay in the lavender gite in the grounds of the chateau Michael's renovating. What made our stay special was the warm and friendly hospitality from Michael and his friend Gabi, and the beautiful gardens he's created around the gites, the chateau and the swimming pool. It was a bit too chilly to use the pool in our stay, but it looked very inviting in better weather!

We had an amazing time in Mandy and Paul’s cottage. The house is beautifully renovated, with a stylish combination of old and new elements. It is located in a lovely small French village, surrounded by hills and vineyards. It has a garden and a terrace, which remains cool even in the hot French summer. You can hike in the surrounding countryside and/or visit the old towns and cities in the area. Mandy is a lovely host, very responsive and helpful. We were sad to leave, especially since this also meant saying goodbye to Tiger the cat! We hope to visit again soon. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Fabienne was the most beautiful host we have ever met. She is a precious Soul that creates much Beauty and pours Love into what she does, which includes her special house. We had a very sacred stay at her place - twice - and would definitely come back. She was very attentive to our well-being. Highly recommend, specially to those guided by their Hearts. While staying there, we also recommend joining one of her yoga classes or having a massage session with her. We will never forget Her.

Vilma is a pleasant and responsive host. Her house is as described. Tastefully furnished as well as the patio. Located near places to visit. Ideal for bike rides along the canals and others. I recommend it
