This is a great apartment with everything and more. It’s modern, clean with great character. It’s also perfectly located a short walk from the lower town city center and close to the old fortress.

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Sophie, l'appartement était très propre et très bien équipé. Nous avions passé une seule nuit mais nous aurions passé plusieurs jours sans soucis avec les équipement et l'emplacement qui offre un cadre super. Merci Sophie !

Séjour et cadre agréable, hôtes sympathiques, cohabitation harmonieuse… Que du positif a dire sur ce séjour, lieu qui mérite des visites approfondies si l’on aime l’histoire et la rando. Merci à Gaëlle et Raphaël et leurs enfants choupis !

Franchement, RAS ! Beaucoup de petites attentions en plus des services / prestations mentionnées dans l'annonce, Val et Phil sont hyper sympas, extrêmement serviables et réactifs, de très bon conseil pour les activités/ sorties disponibles à proximité... Et leurs chiens sont tout mignon. Bref, un WE trop court mais génial en ce qui nous concerne 👌 !

We were absolutely delighted with the property - it really is much better than we anticipated and cannot recommend it highly enough. The communication from the start right through to the check-out was first class. Very helpful and accommodating hosts, so thank you Mimi et al. There was so much space for the 11 of our party and everywhere was clean and spotless and big mention to the quality bedding - that is always so important for a good nights sleep. There are a number of covered areas and terraces, the pool is a great size (with a proper deep end), plenty of sun loungers and places to eat outside on an evening. The village is very quiet, which suited us perfectly, but there is a very good pizza takeaway made with really good quality ingredients. There is also a really nice little Épicerie, which covers just about all bases for day-to-day requirements. All, all the meat and produce is of a very high quality and sourced from the nearby villages. All in all, absolutely perfect!

The property was everything we’d hoped for, peaceful, private and in a beautiful setting. It was equipped with everything we could need, with very comfortable furniture and high quality linens. The kitchen was very well equipped indeed, I loved the air fryer! Colin met us on arrival, unlocking the door and showing us how to operate the shutters before making himself scarce. Although the hosts live next door they’d obviously gone to some effort to make sure the property felt private, we hardly knew they were there. The area is just beautiful with some very scenic villages within a short drive. We’d recommend visiting Montolieu as well as Carcassonne itself. The Lac de la Cavayere is well worth a visit in nice weather and I suspect even more so in summer when all of its activities are in operation. Colin very kindly negotiated with the cleaners to allow us an extra hour before we had to check out - with 7 hours between checkout and our flight this was very much appreciated!

We had a great stay! The house was very comfortable, with lots of games and puzzles. Our kids were delighted! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. We really enjoyed discovering Bram and the surrounding area. We'd happily return! Audrey was always responsive and checked in to make sure everything was ok.

It felt like a true home away from home, with lovely touches that showed real care and attention to detail. The location was perfect — peaceful and just a short drive to the medieval cité, shops, and cafes. But what truly made this experience special was the host’s generosity and kindness. Myriam helped with logistics, and made sure I had everything I needed. It’s rare to meet someone so genuinely warm and attentive. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. La maison de Marie et Alain est très jolie et permet de visiter facilement cette belle région. Les repas sur la terrasse sont très agréable.
