Waterfront vacation rentals in Cambridge

I had a fantastic stay at Fleur’s flat in St. Neots. It is in the perfect location. It is in the heart of the town, less than a minute's walk to Market Square. You can walk to everything… restaurants, shops, cafes, park, marina, train station, etc.. The apartment was as described, and the photos were accurate. It was very clean. Clean linens and towels were provided. The bedrooms are a good size and comfortable. The common space might be tight if you have 4 people, but not an issue. Check-in and check-out were very simple. I was given good instructions and the keys were left in a convenient lockbox. Communication with Fleur was very efficient. This was only my fourth experience using Airbnb, but I would say by far my best experience. I highly recommend this space if you want to be in St. Neots. I hope to stay here again someday. Appartement très joliment décoré, bien placé juste à côté du parc et de la rivière, et à 10 minutes du centre historique. Hôte très agréable et réactif. Petits bémols : l'appartement (numéro 7) est situé près d'une route assez passante notamment le matin (et cela s'entend). Les stores laissent aussi passez pas mal de lumière. Sinon c'était parfait, c'est le genre d'endroit qui donne envie de revenir ! Petit plus : vous bénéficierez de réductions au pub en face sur la Cam(super pub), et auprès de la société qui fait des croisières (en face également, à faire).

The apartment was clean, light and airy and in a beautiful location next to the river Cam. Punting, the Colleges and walking along the river was right on one's doorstep. I would recommend anyone to stay here who is interested in having immediate access to the centre of Cambridge and seeing the historic Colleges. A bonus was that there was private parking where one could securely leave one's car in confidence.

Exactly as described and shown in the photos, super clean and new, really nice flat, excellent location by the pond and opposite the Granta. Easy communication with host.

Very clean, light and airy studio apartment in a great location. Ten minutes walk across the meadow into the centre of Cambridge. Several decent restaurants and a riverside pub in the immediate vicinity - Sala Thong thai was particular good. Apartment was exactly as described and entry/departure instructions were clear. Great to have free private parking.

The Mill apartments where a great option for us for our 2 days in Cambridge. It was easy to access with secure parking and whilst the instructions to enter the unit appear lengthy - they are very clear as is the access. The apartment was as described and had everything we required. Very central. Recommend for anyone requiring a fully equipped apartment in Cambridge.

I booked to stay with Venkat as I was travelling for work in Cambridge the following day and needed somewhere to get my head down. Venkat was very accommodating when my plans meant I wouldn't arrive until late, and met me in person - he was friendly and very good at communicating throughout. I was also able to park there and walk along the river about 20 minutes into Cambridge. Perfect for my needs!

A lovely house and a very comfortable stay

We had a great weekend David was easy to contact and provided useful information and recommendations via text and in the lodge. The lodge had plenty of outside seating and use of the kayaks was a great way to explore the marina. The lodge was a good size with all we needed for a weekend stay. Plenty of lovely places to visit nearby and couple of good pubs only a mile away.

I hosted a training for our organisation at Cowlinge Hall and we all had a wonderful time. From arrival, Emily had gone above an beyond leaving us two bottles of Prosecco and homemade brownies (which were SO good!). The luxurious space made for really nice down time between our sessions of work! Our caterers really enjoyed using the kitchen - which had everything they needed to provide us wonderful meals during the week (the caterers came with us, and weren't connected to the Hall). Our team enjoyed walks in the afternoon, around the property or on the quieter roads around the area - the countryside adding much to our sense of tranquility and atmosphere. We made good use of the fire place and ample firewood supplied. We definitely want to return for future events as it was a joyful location to live and work for a week! Emily was very responsive through out our stay if we had a question about something. Thanks so very much for everything - we'll be back!

WHAT A PLACE! Stunning location and being on the water was amazing. The property was very well equipped and deceptively big. Having a bbq by the water made it really feel like we were on holiday (despite the typical British weather). We know Isleham well and it’s a great location to access lots of things going on and the village pubs have amazing food. We’ll definitely be repeat customers of this place and look forward to doing some more fishing, paddle boarding/kayaking and bbq’s when we come back 🥳

We enjoyed our stay over Christmas. a lovely large, spacious house located conveniently for our family get together. Very peaceful area. House had all the amenities you'd need for a family stay.

We were five cousins who meet up annually. This was the first time we had used an Airbnb and West Farm Cottage was an excellent choice. The house and gardens were stunning. It was very clean throughout with comfy and clean beds. The open plan kitchen had plenty of crockery and glasses. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden. Booking and check-in was quick and efficient. The two downstairs ensuite bedrooms are ideal for anyone with mobility issues. We did wonder if a grab rail perhaps in one of the showers might be a good idea? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Many thanks David.

Was just right for a night’s stay while passing through on a walking trip. Convenient takeaways and shop just five mins away.

Excellent location, perfect for a few days and probably longer, very helpful and responsive host. Good location for walking to bars, restaurants, local stores and also enjoyable walking, running options along the river and nearby parks . Perfectly good ammeities and fittings in the unit. Will definitely consider this again on future visits.

My daughters had a lovely stay at Fleur’s property. It was a great base for them over the Christmas holidays. Having a Christmas Tree made it feel like a home and they will happily return. Thank you so much for your kindness and Happy New Year!

This is a beautifully presented apartment. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped and with lovely riverside views. It’s about a 20 min walk to the pub in the village and about 25 mins into St. Neots, where there’s a wide choice of shops and restaurants. If you’re feeling lazy though there’s a very good Chinese restaurant that delivers! Overall I would find it very hard to fault anything about the place. If I had to try, there’s one (very tiny) difficulty if you happen to have a larger-than-average car, in that the parking spaces are relatively tight to get into, and require some very careful reversing. To be fair though, my car is just over 1.9m wide (according to Google) which is a fair bit bigger than average, and it did fit, but I was slightly nervous the first time! In summary though, it really felt like a beautiful home-from-home and I’d happily stay there again whenever I get the chance.

Lovely flat, relaxing location and quiet on the riverside of the flat, slightly noisy on the street side until the early hours due to the town centre location, not an issue if cool enough to have the windows closed however. Location for town centre really good, restaurants, cafe Nero, Costa M&S and Waitrose all a 2 minute walk away, including bus stop for trips into Cambridge/Bedford. The Flat itself was a complete home from home had everything i needed during my stay. Communication from Fleur was really good. Would absolutely book again when visiting friends in the area.
