we are over the moon with our stay at Wimbish Hall Cabins for my partner’s birthday surprise! we had the BEST stay and can’t wait to return (already trying to work out some dates for towards the end of the year) - the Cabin with cosy / felt homely with all the appropriate necessities! Lizzie your instructions and level of communication was top-tier and we can’t thank you enough.

Beautiful location, very peaceful, excellent facilities. Hot tub was brilliant and instructions were easy to follow. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Wish we’d stayed longer. Lovely place to get away with a small group of friends to chill out and have a good catch up. Thoroughly recommend Lizzie was an excellent host and recommended a local deli cafe for lunch that has a beautiful shop along side it. Definitely worth a visit

Such a cute place to stay, has everything you need and looks exactly like the listing, everything was lovely and clean including the hot tub, it is a beautiful area to walk around, would definitely stay here again :)

John was a great host, he welcomed us and was very friendly and communicated from the start. The lodge is so peaceful, quiet and scenic. The amenities are great, only suggestion would be some light blankets as it gets cold and they would have been nice to sit outside with. We didn't stay long, only 2 nights, would happily have stayed longer and would deffo come again for race days. Lovely local pub 2-3 min walk away the Red Lion, beautiful food and staff were friendly.

Amazing lodge, very clean and had all the amenities needed. We stayed for 1 night for my husband’s birthday and the little touches were lovely. A bottle of prosecco and orange juice plus milk in the fridge, toiletries in the bathroom and robes for the hot tub! The hot tub was so nice, especially sitting inside and taking in the views! Incredible stayed in May there were loads of baby geese and bunnies all around the lake. Incredible views. The lake water is so beautiful. Kitchen has all you need to cook. Could seem to figure out the dryer function on the washer or if the clothes stand was the dryer they had listed. Would definitely go again they supplied a cot and high chair for our little one.

We had a really lovely stay, they have a great set up here with a sweet little pod with everything you need in a very peaceful area, where we especially enjoyed being able to sit and relax in the hot tub! There’s also the local pub just a short walk away as well as a nice little café and shop if you need any essentials.

The advert does not do this place justice. Absolutely beautiful retreat. A row of cabins at the edge of meadows with horses in, over looking a river which have trees and shrubbery between them so each is private. Wifi worked but was not needed as the signal was great anyway. Hot tub and entire cabin was pristine. Myself and my friend enjoyed our visit and were able to relax and unwind. Many thanks to Wayne for allowing us to check in and out around our work schedules. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be booking again in the future.

Literally the perfect place for a weekend getaway — hot tub, bbq, and firepit - plus a walk to a good pub nearby. Had an amazing time and all went very smoothly. Will definitely be coming back!

We have just got home after our two night stay at Sherwood Farm. I am from Soham but now live In the midlands.. I felt straight at home and my god did I forget home peaceful it is out there. There was so much room for all our children to play outside and for us all to sit together and watch tv as a family. Absolutely stunning place. Will definitely be coming back to stay when visiting family. Absolutely worth every penny. Loved it. Thankyou to Stuart and Carol for being great hosts and providing everything we needed.

Archie the lurcher and I had a great couple of nights at Bluebell cabin. The cabin is set in at the back of the large field with trees to screen the fishing lakes and camping areas at the front. In addition, the cabin is set in a private fully fenced gravelled area with it's own picnic table. The area is dog safe unless you have one that likes to clear a 4 foot gate! Inside, the cabin was very clean and all the amenities were as described. For the connected generation, some sockets had USB outlets, the site WiFi mainly worked and the mobile signal was fine. I enjoyed a nice pint of cider in Rondo's, the on-site bar and two great breakfasts at Hubbles, the adjoining cafe. I particularity liked The Veggie One - Avocado and grilled Halloumi on a toasted muffin! The site is a bit remote unless you want to do some fishing or join in with one of the regular events on site. We had a day out in Bury St Edmunds which is about 40 minutes away.

Thanks to Amanda and Adam for a great 3 nights at the Silver Birch Lodge. It was so much to do and the hot tub and fire pit was so amazing… We learnt how to build a fire pit as never done this before so was a good experience. Me and my 8 year old took the bikes out and went around the village with some spectacular views and really friendly people. If you are looking to relax and get away for a few days then this is the place to come really nice from start to finish… Thanks again for being amazing hosts and will definitely come back again!!!

Just come back from a fantastic stay in the shepherds hut! Beautiful location, very clean and quiet and even had breakfast delivered this morning. Thank you for your hospitality would highly recommend and my little dog throughly enjoyed it too xx

Stayed for a long weekend with the children and dog for Father’s Day. What a beautiful place this is. Super peaceful but kids kept busy with the tennis/basketball and football pitch as well as games room. Had great walks and the local pub was a nice touch with very friendly locals, great food and child and dog friendly. Lodge was just perfect, including family time around the fire and BBQ and of course the hot tub. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning again. *****

Perfect place for a weekend gateaway from North London. Super easy on the train from Finsbury Park - in 40 mins you are in an extremely peaceful spot. The house is great with everything you would need, and the hot tub and BBQ along with TVs in the room and the deep bathtubs (and robes!) were really nice bonus touches. The views from the deck of the lake with the every changing wildlife, and the windows in the sitting room overlooking the fields never tired, and meant we didn’t leave for the whole long weekend except for a 30 min walk into town to restock on essentials! My dad has bad mobility so the step free house was perfect, and the fencing on the terrace was great for the dog. The walls are a little thin but with the rooms on separate sides of the house it only really matters if people are still in the sitting room!!

We stayed in the Cornflower cabin and had a lovely time. Finding and entering the cabin was easy, and everything was clean and well-prepared for our stay. The fan was super helpful, and the cabin had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing—a real highlight! The surroundings were peaceful, with birds singing and beautiful grounds to enjoy. It’s also very dog-friendly—our dog absolutely loved it! The space around the cabin was enclosed enough for peace of mind, and it felt safe and relaxed for both us and our pup. I’d recommend checking the temperature of the hot tub as soon as you arrive—it was way too hot for us initially, so we had to remove some logs and take the cover off to let it cool down. While the cabin is understandably small, we did find there weren’t quite enough hooks or storage for our belongings. However, this wasn’t a big issue and didn’t take away from our overall experience. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing countryside escape.

Nice quiet stay at a small annex.

Just what we needed - comfortable, quiet, close to grocery store and restaurants, and very close to our daughter and the river. The fan was extremely helpful as there was a heat wave while we were there! Would definitely stay there again!

LOVED this quirky and super cute cabin in the woods. It was so cosy and had everything we needed for a lovely peaceful stay. We really enjoyed watching the birds, seeing a fox, rabbits and squirrels. My daughter loved that we were sleeping in the roof. It really was a charming place to stay. It felt magical and like a fairytale. The walks locally were lovely and it was so quiet despite being so accessible from main routes. Perfect for a short stay in nature.

Great annexe with the amenities to, cook, wash, eat and relax. Close to Cambridge centre for sightseeing. We thoroughly recommend.

Lovely cabin to stay at with beautiful views and kitty did an amazing job at making us feel welcome! So much information provided and we honestly loved being there! Tennis courts are available to use which is amazing and the whole place looked so lovely! We will definitely be back soon and hopefully for more days next time! Thanks kitty! Xx

Lovely little cabin in Julie's garden. Good safe parking and I loved the TV as it had Sky and Netflix. Stayed here a few times and will definitely go back soon.
