This little stay is so beautiful and so peaceful. Very new and clean! The route to get up to it through the gate is easy and beautiful. I highly recommend this to anyone. The only downside would be that it's on a higher elevation so to get to the lake is a rather steep step climb. Other than that, we have nothing but wonderful things to say about it.

Relaxing lake front home

This was our first time to Lake James and we are definitely coming back! The house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our needs. It was very clean and had everything in great supply. Like others have written, the house is bigger than the pics let on. Susan was proactive with making sure we had the address, codes, etc before we arrived and very responsive if we had a question. All in all, it was a great time with the family!

Nice, last minute weekend getaway for us! The house is very spacious and clean. The pool was very relaxing and the scenic view was amazing. The host was very accommodating and checked to make sure the check in went well plus she made several recommendations for local things to do. Thanks for sharing the home with us! Tracy & Wendy

Karen was helpful in sending recommendations and communication regarding the impact of Helene on the area. Always answered questions and put us at ease. The suite was beautiful and the amenities were nice and the views were great. Instructions were helpful. I would highly recommend this suite

Blin's place was spotless, comfortable and the view was stunning - Fall leaves were in full color while we were there. The bathrooms were spacious and clean - the water was hot with good pressure. The king bed in the master was supportive and comfortable. I heard no complaints about the bunk room beds the kids used. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, bowls and cooking utensils. All appliances worked well. It was muddy while we were there so we rolled up the light colored rugs so we didn't accidentally stain them. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of area for him to run and the streets were quiet for a walk along the road. There are steps all the way to the water which will be amazing for lake access in the summer. As it was cold while we were there and the lake was still recovering from Hurrican Helene, we did not get in the water. All in all it was a great place to stay.

A great day at this spot for holiday weekend this fall. The host was very communicative and helpful. Beautiful views of lake James from the windows and deck. This was just a 10 to 15 minute drive to Lake James State Park, which had so many wonderful and fun things to do and is a beautifully maintained park. We will definitely come back!

We booked this place suddenly while in town for a funeral, last minute. We needed a place to house 6 of us for 2 nights. This place did the trick! Everything was lovely. We will definitely be back in the summertime to enjoy the lovely deck and pool! December isn't quite pool season! so next time for sure!! One note: the kitchen is in need of a strainer. unfortunately, there wasn't one, and spaghetti was a meal we planned to feed our large group. we made it work! just and FYI for whoever may be reading this =) Overall, what a great little house in a beautiful area!
