Jake was very accommodating. With the Hurricane destruction that had occurred, Jake still went out of his way to make sure myself and the guests were heard and seen and made to feel safe.

WONDERFUL. Mark and Kimberly really set the bars with the home and communication! They were quick to respond always helpful! The home was beautiful it was just what we needed! We were only 15 min from downtown Morganton but still got to experience the mountains with the location. 10/10 we will definitely be booking again!

First time on lake James and it blew us away! Andrew’s home was a perfect fit for us to be able to enjoy the surroundings!

This was our first time to Lake James and we are definitely coming back! The house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our needs. It was very clean and had everything in great supply. Like others have written, the house is bigger than the pics let on. Susan was proactive with making sure we had the address, codes, etc before we arrived and very responsive if we had a question. All in all, it was a great time with the family!

Nice, last minute weekend getaway for us! The house is very spacious and clean. The pool was very relaxing and the scenic view was amazing. We have loved our stay at Tristan’s House! Cecilia is the best host - always responsive and considerate. The property and the house are exactly as described and we were so comfortable here. Can’t say enough good things about our stay- it was so much more than we expected!

Our stay at Donna’s place was absolutely delightful. The home was peaceful, spotless, and adorably decorated. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a thoughtful snack basket on the kitchen counter and a personalized note card, which made us feel instantly welcomed. Donna's attention to detail is remarkable. She provided all the necessary bathroom essentials, including disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, q-tips, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. One charming touch was the guestbook for visitors to sign and leave messages for both Donna and future guests. Although I planned to sign it, our busy schedule got the better of me, and I regret not being able to leave a note. Donna’s responsiveness to our requests was impressive and accommodating. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Donna’s place if you're in the area. The thoughtful amenities, warm hospitality, and cozy atmosphere made our stay truly memorable.

Bridget is a great host. She responds quickly for all your needs. Home was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Beds are clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back on my next trip!

My wife and I stayed at the Farmhouse for 5 weeks and it was one of the best places I've stayed. The farmhouse has modern appliances, modern wifi, and great farmhouse charm. The best equipped kitchen and laundry I've seen in an Airbnb. We also absolutely loved the chickens and pigs. You've got to visit the Highlands Butchery restaurant, great food and amazing bourbon selection. Jon and Kristina are the best people. Very welcoming and responsive to anything we needed. I am going to miss the quiet nights, the country side, and the chickens.

This home and the host were both awesome! The house was very comfortable and cozy. There was enough space for my entire group, yet it was cozy enough that it felt like home. The host had snacks and waters in the home for us to make us feel at home as well. They were also very communicative throughout the trip and checked to make sure we had arrived safely. I would certainly stay here again!

I can't recommend this place highly enough. It was an idyllic setting for a quick vacation with my three children. The cottage is on a beautiful piece of land with lovely views and scenery. The cottage was well-decorated, very comfortable and had every amenity you needed. It felt like home, but better. My children loved the huge basement downstairs with a ping pong table. Lastly, the host, Susan, was by far the best part of our stay. She was so lovely and helpful during our stay even giving us personal tours and sharing more fresh eggs. We can't wait to come back and stay with Susan again.

We loved staying at Chris’ cottage!! We felt right at home. It was clean, welcoming, and bright, and had everything we needed. (As someone who is picky about cleanliness, I loved how clean the airbnb was when we arrived.) The beds were comfy, and the living room was cozy. Getting in and out of the house was a breeze and the easiest out of any airbnb I have stayed at before. Chris was a great host. The shower was taking a while to drain during our stay and he was on top of getting a plumber over right away to get the issue taken care of. I would definitely stay again when we come back to Morganton. Highly recommend!

Sela’s place was ideal for our sisters’ getaway! It was easy to find and not far off the interstate. We especially loved the quiet, country setting and watching the birds each morning from the living room window. The house was very clean, everything worked as it should, and the beds were comfy! It was particularly warm for early November and we appreciated having screened windows we could open and ceiling fans in each room. The living room had plenty of comfortable seating. Honestly, there is nothing I would recommend for improvement. Sela thought of everything. With 3 women there, I appreciated having plenty of toilet paper, and not the cheap kind either. This quiet, safe, peaceful spot is ideal for a getaway and all 3 sisters give it 5 ⭐️

Great rental! One of our favorites. It was super clean and accommodated all of our needs. The location was in close proximity to places we visited while in Hickory. Our visits to Hickory are frequent and would love to rent here again.

Great sized property that was clean and very well equipped. Felt very safe in the lovely quiet neighbourhood when going for a walk each day. Communication was great, would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you!

Loved the home, property and location! Very private, quiet and peaceful! It's right next to South Mountain State Park, which was a definite plus for us. It's a great place to unplug and unwind while hanging out on the back porch, walking along the river next to the property or hiking in the park!

My family and I recently stayed at Corinne’s place for Christmas as my mom lives nearby. It was a perfect Airbnb for us - absolutely beautiful house and views, plenty of space, kitchen and laundry were ideal. We did not use the sauna or the downstairs but they looked great too. Internet was fast and beds were comfy too. We hope to stay again when visiting family!

We enjoyed our weekend stay, as the home was as good if not better than pictured. We were in town for my daughter’s dance competition and the house is a short 5 minute drive to the Broyhill Civic Center which was very convenient. The place was spotless and recently updated. Patricia made the experience from booking to checkout very easy and I would happily book with her again.

We stay here just for two nights, I just wish we had more time! Very lovely space, everything clean and cute, All rooms were very comfortable, one of the most amazing views to the mountains, this picture doesn’t make justice to the beauty of this place, 100% recommended!
