Had an amazing stay! The place was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway—comfortable lodging with stunning views for both sunrise and sunset. Loved watching the local wildlife roam and exploring the great hiking trails nearby. There was plenty to do, yet it was also the perfect spot to unwind. Hope to return again soon! Thanks for the great memories!

We had a great time and this place was perfw t for our needs. Look forward to staying again. I would, however, place orange cones or some other safety device over the horseshoe stakes as they could be dangerous with children or pets running around or even being out in the evening.

Most amazing place. We did a micro wedding for our daughter there, and couldn’t have been happier! The kitchen is better stocked than my own. Stunning views, plenty of space, plenty little things to keep teens and young adults entertained! Would love to book again.

Our stay at The Little Cabin was everything we were hoping for and more! It’s a lovely cozy space, clean, peaceful, comfortable, beautiful wooded surroundings, convenient to area attractions and dining, and the best hostess! Shannon was proactive in communicating with us, and very welcoming. She went above & beyond to make our stay easy & relaxing. We had our small dog with us, so the secure & pet friendly back deck was perfect for her to safely roam around. The Little Cabin is our new favorite getaway! We’d love to visit again!

Some friends and I took a girls trip to the mountains. We loved our stay at this Spacious Skies cabin. It was beautiful, clean, and very peaceful. The Spacious Skies employees were extremely nice and very helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed hikes and activities right there at the campground. I would highly recommend this place!!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Roho's cabin is set in a beautiful area with the creek below. The cabin itself was so comfy and cozy. While being off the beaten path, the cabin had everything you needed and all the creature comfort details were thought of. The wood burning hot tub was a true delight. Truly such a lovely place. April was an amazing host. Great communication, very friendly and she also sent tons of recommendations for things to do in the area, although I didn't want to leave the cabin 😂 I can't wait to come back and visit again.

I am very pleased with my overall stay and experience. Lauren’s home was clean, welcoming, well stocked, and as pictured/described. My only disappointment was that I couldn’t stay longer and continue to enjoy the many amenities (hot tub, multiple fire places, clawfoot tub, fire pit). Lauren is a very timely and clear communicator and was flexible in accommodating my early check-in request. There is a steep drive up to/down from the property so I recommend an AWD vehicle. It is a very quiet street with only a few neighbors nearby. The stairs to the loft are narrow and slippery-do not wear socks while climbing/descending. I recommend taking extra care and time when navigating them. A big storm rolled through my last morning and the power went out for the last 40 mins before checkout and Lauren was therefore very understanding that I was unable to start the dishwasher/reset the thermostats as directed.

Simply put it was awesome. Small things add up. S’mores the record player good pans. The entire family enjoyed this place. The lake in the back private and nice walking trail is great. Too much to list of how great it is. Hot tub was great. Each level of the house has a bath room. The scents throughout the house was a good touch. The community is really nice was able to canoe and fish. The food she recommended was awesome good touch of home at countryside BBQ. If you are looking to relax and distress this is it. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. Memories for a lifetime.

Great cabin, very close to many of the big hikes on the Eastern rim of the Linville Gorge. House was very clean, comfortable, and decorated with lots of cool art. Good books and games too. Kitchen was well equipped. Wi-Fi was good. The cleaning fee was steep, nearly $200, especially considering the very detailed check-out instructions. All in all, a really pleasant place to stay.

This place is so cute! Perfect for a short stay. No oven and no stand up shower, but super cozy and up to date. I actually enjoyed having a bath in the super spacious stand alone tub. Would definitely come back and stay for a night or two.

Bill’s place is amazing! The house is located up a winding mountain road and is very private. The view is exactly as pictured and the porch was perfect for immersing in a relaxing getaway. Fully decked out movie room with surround-sound speakers; used it both nights I stayed and was a great way to end the day. Bill was very friendly! He gave us a tour and offered stories for all the wonderful things in his house. Lots of art and cool pieces. Bill recommended a great trail nearby; saw salamanders and lots of other critters. The house is also in good distance to Linville Gorge!

We found this property so well appointed with all of the necessary items we might have lacked. Because of its location and the possibility of being stranded due to in-climate weather, Jason has stocked many items of which a person might need in the event they didn’t bring enough supplies for a few days. We looked at the food items that are stored as being a backup in the event we were stranded for a few days. Fortunately, for us, we over supply ourselves because other properties we have utilized were completely less supplied. We found that all the bases were covered for food, spices, dishes, snacks, as well as things like the barbecue grill and outdoor fire pit. We were very impressed with how the house was supplied and set up for a renter. It was almost like we walked into our own home with supplies existing. We were glad to have this wonderful experience, and would consider it in the future again.

We loved our stay at Trails End cabin. Was in town for the lake james 5k, and the home was walkable to the Fonta Flora brewery via the trails that leads to the Overmountain Victory trail in the backyard.... huge bonus and why I picked this home! Very private and my dogs loved wandering in the yard where we could feel that we're safe. Will definitely be back again!

The cottage is a very sweet and cozy place to stay! It is located in a very peaceful area. It was so awesome to wake up to the sounds of birds in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee! The cottage is not far from some awesome hiking trails and not too far of a drive to Grandfather mountain or Boone. My now wife and I enjoyed our stay here and are planning on going back!

This was our 2nd time staying here, and we absolutely loved it. Beautiful surroundings and the back porch is my favorite place to be!! Can’t wait to make a return trip!

I stayed with my three kids aged 4, 8, and 11. There was plenty of space for a comfortable stay. We had dinner on the back porch listening to the sounds of the water. The space provided everything for a relaxing stay and we all really enjoyed exploring down by the river. Would love to come back someday!

We enjoyed our stay at The Evershire! Our host was very flexible and helpful. Very clean, comfortable, and beautiful place for our family to get away together! Highly recommended!!

Kelsey and Jeremy are very generous hosts! The property is beautiful and right along a creek! We loved petting the animals, eating in restaurant (loved those milkshakes, coffee, and breakfast sandwiches)! The family movie night was so fun! Thank you for providing us with board games in our cabin! We will be coming back!

This is our second stay at the cabin. It is a fantastic place. The cabin is beautiful inside and out with a large deck to enjoy the outside. There is a spectacular mountain view from the entire living area and deck of the rim of Linville Gorge including Shortoff and Table Rock Mountain. It is rare to get these kinds of views without having to navigate difficult terrain. We really enjoyed the cozy fireplace. The location is very convenient to Lake James and the towns of Marion and Morganton nearby. We love to bike, and you can ride your bicycle directly from the property to the lake. Brian is a fantastic host, very responsive. We really enjoyed the flexibility he has with the check-in and out times. This cabin is one of our favorite places to stay at Lake James.

Our family of 5 plus our dog had a fantastic stay at the cabin. We had everything we needed. It was clean. Cabin was a perfect size for us. We enjoyed playing ping pong. The hot tub was a great bonus on chilly days. It felt very private and secluded. Very convenient location of the cabin. Our family got to enjoy Linville Falls, it is only 2 minutes away. The snow tubing place is only 7 minutes away and we had a blast. Sugar Mountain Ski resort was under 30 minutes. I would definitely rent this place again! We had a great relaxing vacation. Highly recommend!

It was an amazing stay at the cabin. The cabin is super sweet and clean. The location is awesome, it's very close to Linville Falls and lots of hiking trails.

To no fault of Tommy’s, the cabin was not cleaned after the last guest bc the cleaning crew was unable to get there due to Hurricane Helene. Tommy immediately found us another cabin to stay in but we had to evacuate bc the water was rising fast. He was gracious and kind and refunded our money and checked on us to make sure we were ok. I will definitely try to book with him again.

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely incredible! The location was serene and picturesque, surrounded by stunning mountain views and peaceful nature sounds. The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved spending our mornings sipping coffee on the deck and our evenings by the cozy fireplace or fire pit. The hiking trails nearby were fantastic, which even lead to a gorgeous waterfall. The gated community where the cabin is located was beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained, adding an extra sense of security and comfort to our stay. A special shoutout to the host—she was fantastic! Not only was she responsive and welcoming, but she also kept us updated with severe weather alerts during our stay, which was incredibly thoughtful. Whether you're looking for adventure or just a relaxing escape, this cabin is the perfect place! We definitely hope to visit again some day!
