We have just had the most amazing stay here! The house and grounds are stunning with amazing views. The house is very close to Bergerac but is very private in the countryside with vast grounds. We had such a peaceful and relaxing break. Jil was a wonderful host, so responsive and helpful. She sent great instructions for our arrival, lots of recommendations and also came over on the evening of our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and to explain things around the house, which was appreciated. Would love to stay again and will be recommending to friends and family!

What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

We spent three days and two nights in Anne-Marie and Paul's beautiful studio, and we plan to come back as soon as possible. A real little cocoon, very well equipped and perfectly located in a quiet and idyllic environment. And what a view from the deck! We enjoyed beautiful walks around the village, and our dog Marcus was thrilled. What can I say about the warm welcome and kindness of Anne-Marie and Paul? We simply felt like family. Anne-Marie even took the time to go for a walk with us, accompanied by her adorable dog Jojo, to show us the surroundings. Special mention for the small touches that make all the difference: fresh eggs from the house hens, cold beers and delicious cherries were waiting for us upon arrival. In short, go there without a second thought: it's really not an Airbnb like the others.

We had a wonderful stay. It really is the perfect location for exploring St Emilion. Sophie was a brilliant host and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation is well equipped, private and in a stunning location - we couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Despite a last-minute booking, the hosts gave us a warm welcome. Spacious house, nice fenced garden ideal with children. We discovered Brantôme, visited the cave of Villars and had a pleasant weekend with the family. Thank you and see you soon maybe 🙂

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. We had a great time in the heart of Dordogne. The place is beautiful, overlooking the surrounding woods, the place is quiet and peaceful, if you like tranquility this place is for you. Heated pool and outdoor facilities really very good, being sick as well as my mom, we enjoyed it! The accommodation is functional and very well-equipped, the owners and Jessyca were very responsive to our questions and are present for any concern, very understanding and kind, we thank them 😊

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

We were welcomed as friends and then left to settle in and soak up the surroundings, which are just sublime. The lake and surrounding landscaping are a huge credit to Guy and Christina, just beautiful. I was helped, a lot, by Guy in my angling efforts. I managed a huge catfish which he put me onto, a memorable experience. The carp I caught, all in the mid to high twenties, were all in good condition and were returned in the same state. We would love to return next year, if time and health allow, but if not, a massive thank you to Christina and Guy for making us so welcome, your restaurant is brilliant too! Short stay at a super nice place. Cendrine is a very nice host and her accommodation is a very nice little cocoon. I recommend it without reservation.

Very nice accommodation with very neat and refined decor, very well equipped, with lots of charm, very comfortable; we stayed there around mid-February and it was quite cool on the ground floor despite the heating, which was not the case on the upper floors; the stove is welcome and very nice but it is not necessarily enough to heat, or not immediately; we therefore highly recommend it but you have to plan to cover yourself in winter even if the accommodation offers plaids for those who are sensitive to the cold; we also enjoyed Bridget's little hello on our arrival, the bottle of wine and the cake! Not much to say about this very nice place, go there without a second thought.

Charming place. Elegantly isolated. A pleasant cocoon. Very small but everything is done to be happy outside! Great environment. And above all, the owners are very considerate and welcoming. All while leaving you autonomous. Perfect, what! Thanks to them.

We came for a wedding but we loved the location of the nest so much. Really feels like you're in a bubble. Between sheep and birds with a view of the forest. The terrace is a call to yoga 😊 I will have definitely put my suitcases there. Ideal for finding yourself in peace. We loved it.
