Peaceful oasis! We absolutely adored our stay here. It was remote but surrounded by beautiful towns and villages to explore. The place itself was perfect for what we needed and just spending time outside in nature/farms. The pool and hot tub were exceptional. It was so quiet we felt we were fully alone and could fully switch off. There was everything you needed kitchen and bbq etc. Would love to come back.

One of the nicest locations we’ve ever visited! Peaceful, beautiful location and comfortable, well-appointed lodging. Gracious, responsive host. Walking distance to a small pharmacy, small grocery store, and very nice restaurant. We would like to go back again!

Great stay! The hosts are very nice and welcoming. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well equipped, exactly as described. Very good location, with several nice towns nearby for sightseeing.

A wonderful place to stay, surrounded by nature and animals. Very clean and welcoming, and Dominique went over and above to allow us to check in early. Would highly recommend.

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

Happy and warm week. Very bright accommodation with floor-to-ceiling windows everywhere. Nothing is missing to live your vacation well, everything is clean. It is missing a microwave and a kettle; eco-friendly fireplace is required. The photos were well taken as the trees have since grown on the panoramic view. Hot tub very welcome. Safety improvements offered especially for children: missing railings throughout the basement including behind ping pong, sliding door of the 1-seater bedroom, ... Beautiful area with many remarkable activities and sights.

Armand and Stéphanie were fabulous, friendly and considerate hosts. The location is great and peaceful, a magnificent restoration work has been done. A plus for the beautiful jacuzzi that we couldn't use for weather reasons, but that's only part of it. You can go there without so much as a second thought (not too much because you have to look at the road), you won't be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our time in Sarlat the apartment was in the centre of town everything was above our expectations highly recommended

We had a great time at the Tilleuls' house. Cécile is very welcoming and we immediately felt at home. The house is nice with a large living room, which was nice because we were 3 couples. The garden is huge and very pretty. It's a haven of peace. It is fenced, which is nice with dogs. Several places with tables and garden furniture. Gourmet basket upon arrival. Thanks to Cécile for her kindness. We recommend this listing

Cathy is a very nice, discreet host. She knows how to inform us about her area and it's very nice 👌👍😀and the accommodation is great and very well located for a holiday If you're going through the Dordogne we recommend this host

An enchanting break at the cabin by the pond! We had a great time close to nature. A warm welcome from Sara, with excellent sourdough bread. Access is quick and easy to this cocoon of greenery. The cabin is cozy and full of charm. We were able to enjoy it in the sun, but also snuggle in during a stormy evening, it was great and so cozy, the cabin is very well insulated; but if necessary, the stove was already ready to heat this cozy place (we did not need it.). We felt at home there. There are many nooks and crannies to enjoy this peaceful retreat, observe nature and adopt a peaceful lifestyle. We highly recommend this place and its charming hostess. Thanks for creating this place.

Great stay at Anne's! The house is up to expectations, the outdoor spaces are really worth the experience for very high quality moments with friends. 2 large terraces including 1 sheltered and sheltered from the wind + the pool that overlooks a natural panorama… Just thinking about it makes us want to go back!!!

A beautiful and quiet place. Guillaume was a very warm and responsive and flexible host.

Despite a last-minute booking, the hosts gave us a warm welcome. Spacious house, nice fenced garden ideal with children. We discovered Brantôme, visited the cave of Villars and had a pleasant weekend with the family. Thank you and see you soon maybe 🙂

Great place to stay all our party love the chateau

Linda and Alex's villa is in a beautiful & peaceful location, it has a fantastic swimming pool and beautiful gardens with lots of things to do – table tennis, swimming, boules, & relaxing 😌 The area is wonderful with lots of River swimming and beautiful towns all within a 10/15 minute drive We will definitely be returning

The location was peaceful and calm, and the house was well maintained and spacious. The garden was well kept. It was a great place to spend a week.

We loved our few days in the French countryside at Nicki and David’s place. They were very kind and helpful, especially after we arrived with an egg spillage in our hire car - they were on hand to provide cleaning bits and even offered more eggs (but we refused as we don’t want to see eggs anytime soon!) The property is clean and has everything you need, and the pool and views are amazing! Great hosts who give you privacy and space but very responsive and lovely to chat to when crossing paths. Thanks both for a lovely stay!

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful Gite. The Gite was lovely and more than met the needs of the four of us. The grounds are stunning and so peaceful. We were blessed with good weather and being able to use the pool and relax in and enjoy the grounds helped make this a perfect stay. Fabi and Steve were wonderful hosts, and gave us lots of helpful information. They responded quickly to any queries we had. We highly recommend this property and hope that we will be able to visit again sometime.

Spectacular stay at Le Cheval Blanc! We loved our week at this large but charming house in the countryside. Beautiful, clean and cozy bedrooms! Large comfortable living room area with a wood stove that came in handy in the unusually cool September. The kitchen-wow. The best appointed kitchen we have ever encountered! And then, there are the hosts that went above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal. Delicious welcome meal and a well stocked fridge to get us started. Bill and Jill were friendly and very helpful. Walks in the area possible. Many villages to visit within an hour or two. It was an amazing week. You should stay at Le Cheval Blanc!

Beautiful setting, very welcoming people, we immediately felt very comfortable, for those who love flowers it is a real joy.
