The Courade Cabin is a little slice of paradise tucked into the Pyrenean hills. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a postcard. The view is absolutely breathtaking—rolling green valleys stretching for miles—and we couldn’t get enough of it whether sipping wine on the deck or soaking in the open-air jacuzzi. The cabin itself is warm, stylish, and thoughtfully designed with sustainability in mind. We were blown away to learn that it was built using wood from local forests and powered by 100% renewable energy. It’s clear Danielle & Serge poured heart and soul into creating something special here. Waking up to birdsong, soaking in the view from bed, and ending the day under the stars in the jacuzzi made for the most peaceful and romantic escape we’ve ever had. The breakfast option was a perfect touch, too—fresh local bread, honey, and jam that felt like a gift from the region itself. This isn’t just a stay—it’s an experience.

Sandrine is a welcoming and considerate hostess. The accommodation is impeccable, neat and well decorated. The king size bed is comfortable. The environment is peaceful and beautiful with life on the Pic du Midi. We highly recommend this typical mountain rental, which allowed us to have a great stay.

At the bottom of the main street of Bareges, the accommodation is well located. A shuttle bus leads up to the resort.

Great stay at Christelle's, who was very available and advised us on things to do in the area. She had even prepared board games for the bad weather forecast for the day after our arrival. The Saugué Plateau is beautiful for hiking, thanks for the advice! 😀 The apartment is impeccable and refurbished, everything was great.
