Conclusion in advance: The mountain hut near Zell am See is an absolute gem of AirBnB. Location: The cabin is secluded and private on a pasture-covered mountain with private driveway. It is always quiet without hikers or the like passing the cabin. You really have your peace and quiet here! Accommodation: Everything you need is there! Super clean and modern! A big plus is the sauna, which is heated with firewood. If you want, you can use the wooden grill for cooking, which gives the whole thing an even more intense cabin flair. Arrival and departure: If you want to live on a mountain hut, you have to be aware that the cabin is forcibly located on a mountain. The path to the cabin is gravel and is a small challenge on the first ascent and descent. But the second time we had no more problems. A PS stronger/ higher car is certainly an advantage.

Very comfortable and extremely clean home with a very accurate garden outside with a lot of games for the children and places to relax. The guest Marion was extremely friendly and she has paid a lot of attention also of the children. The house is super recommended!

We loved staying with Claudia and Christian. The flat is spacious and neat and located in a dreamy locations in the mountains. We got to pet and feed the animals and Claudia helped us with our itinerary and activities.

Stunning location and beautiful house and space. Car parking. Excellent hosts, especially as we had a flight delay. The views and mountainous countryside were vast. Easy access to Salzburg and Berchtesgaden areas. Ensure familiarity with garbage requirements and tourist tax payments. Be aware of access should heavy snow fall. Need a 4x4 car at least. Rosi is very friendly, her family too. The apartment is tastefully decorated, perfect for a family of four. There is a garden with barbecue, playground for children. The apartment is conveniently located. Unfortunately, you can hear the highway with the window open, which is reduced by closed windows. But the view of the mountains is magical.

As many have already written, the cottage is small but very nice and clean. We were 4 adults with 2 small children. We more than exhausted the capacity, but Michaela had informed us in advance that it could be cozy. The view into the valley is fantastic. Due to the location on the eastern slope, the terrace and lounge are flooded with sun in the morning. At the beginning of March, however, the sun was gone from about 3 PM, so we had to move the after-work drink indoors after skiing/hiking, but that was not a deal breaker. In winter, the hut is connected to the Kaltenbach/Hochzillertal ski resort via the valley descent to Aschau, so that as a skier you don't really need a car. Due to the little snow and the warm temperatures, the descent was unfortunately not possible and we were dependent on the car (about 10 minutes' drive to the valley) All in all, it was a great week. Highly recommended for up to 4 people!

We would be warmly welcomed by the house owner and she was always available for questions. The apartment has a very extensively equipped kitchen,which is more cozy than it might look in the pictures. The apartment is sparkling clean and super clean. The beds are very cozy,the mattresses accordingly of very good quality. We felt very comfortable,would book again. To say goodbye, there was a Zillertal usual Willi and something sweet for the children.

Susanne is a great host, indeed a Super host. Very clear and easy communication. Great location, amazing views. Well equipped, squeaky clean apartment. Highly recommended and would definitely visit again.

We stayed with Willi for the second time and were, like the first time, super satisfied! The children were allowed to feed the animals with Willi in the morning and got fresh eggs from the chicken coop for breakfast. The apartment was super clean again and we felt very comfortable. The large beautiful garden with continuous creek was great, especially when looking for Easter, but otherwise the children liked to play on and in the creek. Willi is a very nice and warm host. If we travel to the area again, we will definitely go back to Willi!

Were very satisfied, it was also nicely decorated for Easter and there was a welcome drink. The single room and one of the 3 double rooms is unfortunately a little darker than shown in the photos (from the light). All in all very satisfied and recommended.

The area is pricelessly beautiful. It's very quiet and Josef lives right next door if you have any questions. The apartment has everything you need. If you come by car, it's better. We would definitely book it again. Thanks for everything

We spent 6 days as a family with a 3-year-old child here at the property. We didn't miss anything. The accommodation is quietly located on a small hill next to other buildings near a campsite. It was quiet. By car, we were actually at all planned excursion destinations in 5-30 minutes - great location. The bathroom and kitchen meet the latest standards. We felt comfortable :)

We were a group of 12 - the only small downside was a fact where were only 3 independent toilets; otherwise everything was exceptional, the best part of it the ability to cook on wooden stove.

we stayed 3 days with 2 kids, perfect place for family and even for couples, We enjoy Great Lake and Mountain View from 2 floor Panaromic view, peaceful, Lisa is very helpful and kind to show our kids farm animals, kid really enjoy. Highly recommend to this place.

We arrived with our baby for two nights and were very warmly welcomed by Magdalena and Dominik. The place was very nice, clean and cozy. The farm is perfect for families and offers a lot. Very clear recommendation we would book again and again for a longer stay

The apartment is excellent. It is very clean and communication with the landlord is both excellent and fast. The wifi is extremely fast. The surroundings are impressive, with stunning views of the mountains. The balcony is spacious and extends in two directions. The kitchen is very well equipped. Location is quiet. The four-poster bed is extremely stylish. For four people the dining table is fine, but for six people it is a bit small. It is unfortunate that the high cleaning fee is shown very late in the booking process.

We had a wonderful time at the MandlwandLodge! It combines traditional cabin feeling with modern comfort. We had everything we need and felt right home. The place itself is made with a lot of love to detail and it was a warm welcome. The view form the apartment is amazing because the cabin surrounded by the mountains. You also can start a hike directly from the house. We're looking forward to our next stay at MandlwandLodge!

The house is beautifully located with views of the mountains and the wonderful farm with cows, mini pigs, rabbits, sheep and the like is right next door. In the morning you can have rolls brought in front of the door (luxury!), the apartment is cozy and when the sun is shining you can make yourself comfortable on the large terrace. It was just all around fine and the Hosts very likeable! Thanks, we'll be back!
