The place is very nice and the view is amazing. The kitchen is full of all the utensils and pots and pans you would want to cook anything. Troy was also great at communicating. The grill outside was great. We would go back and highly recommend the place to anyone looking to experience northern MN.

What a cute place! Quaint clean and so much better than a hotel. Place to stretch out at the end of the day. Walking distance to the lake. When coming back, I’d stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfortable, we watched a DVD she had, there were lots of interesting books, we could walk to downtown, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals there. We felt right at home!

Jennifer's place is wonderful and peaceful and relaxing. The setting is amazing and the house is cozy and clean. The yard and trails are beautiful and it's an incredibly beautiful location. I would definitely go again.

Enjoyed the sauna, kids love the bunk bed. The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable for me. The place is not fancy but was private, nice porch, fire pit and adequate kitchen. Worked for what we needed.

We just stayed for a week (this was our second family trip to this place) and our family loves it. Amazing views of the lake and shore, feels very private, and an overall cozy/comfortable place for a get-away. The main floor is quite creaky when you walk on it, which can be loud if someone is up later or earlier than others, but that’s the only “negative” about this place. It’s not that bad, but worth mentioning. Everything else is excellent though. And the location is hard to beat. I would highly recommend a family trip here.

Wonderful place! From communication to amenities to that homey-feeling to the fantastic location… this rental had it all! We felt right at home with designated feeding stations and gifts for both our pups. Tiffany and AnDrew provided ample snacks and hot beverages for us. We couldn’t have an outdoor fire due to restrictions so we made s’mores in the microwave with the kits they left us. So many thoughtful touches by wonderful hosts! You never know what you’ll get when you book an owner onsite property, but we barely saw or heard our hosts. They were very conscientious of giving us space to relax and do our thing. We enjoyed stilling on the porch and lakeside patio most of all. Just outside Duluth enough to feel like you’re getting away, the property was within a few miles of several local shops, cafes, and convenience stores. We dig lots of gravel traveling and enjoying the rock beaches between the rental all the way past Gooseberry Falls State Park. Highly recommend!

It's always enjoyable having a host that communicates effectively; Kaity was one of those hosts. Her welcome note was thorough and provided all the information we needed for both check-in and check-out. The home is adorable. The massive windows in the main gathering space gave you the 'full north woods' feel. Kitchen is smallish but we certainly appreciated how well stocked it was with all the appropriate cooking utensils. Providing a drip coffee pot and pour over was a great touch; we used them both. Bed mattresses were awesome - nice and firm. We were there for the mountain biking and boy did we have fun on so many of the nearby trails. Bottom line: It's a nice place to getaway to.

This was a great getaway for our little family of four! With a 2 year old and a 4 year old, we've been wanting to go camping but not quite ready yet for the whole experience. Brien and Shelley's place gave us the experience of nature, togetherness, and some amount of fending for ourselves (bringing drinking water, using an outdoor toilet, bonfires, etc.), while still providing the comfort and ease of a real bed and a real kitchen! We love visiting Two Harbors, where there is plenty to explore and it's a quick drive to multiple State parks, and yet, we were amazed and grateful at how private this place was. And what a bonus to have the river run through! (Great for our agate-loving family members.) Thanks for your hospitality! We hope to return!

Beautiful lake view and a great stay overall. Check-in was easy, and Luke was very responsive and accommodating. The home was clean, spacious, and well-stocked. We enjoyed the bonfire, cozy fireplaces, and appreciated the baby gates for safety. The older kids loved exploring by the lake. Would definitely stay again!

this place was beautiful, yet simple. perfect place for my fiance and I to stay. I like that it's only 10 minutes from town, but it's still private and in nature. The little Hobby farm is adorable and awesome that they have one in general, at night all you can hear are the sounds of nature. The host was very helpful, responsive and accommodating. She also gave us so advice on the best hiking spots in the area. Highly recommend!

We arrived at the house in sub zero temperatures and were very happy to be inside the house with the wonderful radiant heated floors. Warm and cozy! Comfortable beds and warm blankets made for restful nights. The view of the bay is beautiful. Moon rising over the horizon reflected on the ice . We heard Great Horned Owls hooting in the distance. Next visit we hope to come in the summer or fall to walk around more and see the lake. Thanks again!

We were looking for a place to stay while working on the fires here. It was perfect for what we needed close in town, easy to find and just big enough to fit 3 of us. everything was clean and organized. The host were nice, responsive and very helpful. Would recommend staying here again

This home is a true beauty! The owner has created a lovely oasis with a keen sense of style. Everything was so homey and comfortable. We especially loved cooking in the well-appointed kitchen - top notch! The upstairs great room made us feel like we were in a light and bright treehouse despite being in the woods. It was hard to believe we were just minutes from downtown Ashland. Thank you, thank you for sharing such an amazing home with us (and will you come decorate our house, pretty please?)!!

We were so happy about our stay at the Corny Pad! Esme’s place was pristine, dog friendly, and in the heart of Cornucopia — Wisconsin’s cutest small town! It was the best way to see the apostle islands, and we were so happy with our experience and stay.

What an amazing stay! Came with my 8 girl scouts and we loved it so much they didn't want to go home. The house was perfect and very clean and organized. There were labels for everything. I accidentally broke a cutting board and Amanda was kind about it. We especially loved the porch! So relaxing and great for puzzling. Would definitely come back. Thanks for a great stay! 🩷

We absolutely loved staying at the Hale House for our joint bachelor/bachelorette weekend. There was plenty of space for a large group to spread out in the house comfortably. Each and every nook and cranny was thoughtfully and beautifully decorated. Lindsay had plenty of toiletries stocked for our group which was so helpful. The house is just a few minutes walk into town and to the ferry, so our group was easily able to access and enjoy everything the area had to offer. Absolutely gorgeous home and surrounding area. My favorite part of the weekend was riding the ferry to Madeleine Island and hanging out at Tom’s Bar. We would love to stay at the Hale House again someday!

We loved our stay at Iver’s Place! Great location for a North Shore getaway. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
