Homely cottage in the national park

This cozy summer cottage is located in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the north of the Czech Republic. The symbol of this National Park – Pravčická brána (Prebischtor) is only 7 km far from our homely cottage. This place is unique because of many possibilities for hiking, cycling, relaxing or for mushroom gathering as well. In a couple of minutes you can cross the border and enjoy other interesting places in Germany. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms with 3 beds upstairs and 1 sofa bed downstairs. The living room is a perfect place to sit with family or friends, play the desk games and have a nice time by the fireplace. Television has mostly German and Czech channels. The kitchen is well equipped with the fridge, the stove, the oven, the coffee machine, the microwave, the kettle and the dishes. Clean towels and linen, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are provided. There is a grill with seating in the garden; a roofed pergola with additional seating behind the cottage offers privacy and rest in the nature. Because we want to keep the unique atmosphere of the place, the cottage does not have a Wi-Fi connection.

The small wooden house is quietly located on a large meadow property, surrounded by greenery. Our cozy apartment "Zaukennest" is located in our half-timbered house with separate entrance. The house is located in the 2nd row on the hillside directly on the forest and is only accessible by steps. The Zaukennest is designed for 2 persons, simple extra bed is exceptionally possible. A laundry package (sheets/towels) can be added for a flat 25 EUR (get it yourself). The private parking lot is about 250 m away. Downtown and ferry dock: 5-10 min Train station by ferry: 20 min.

Our house is a 270-year-old timber-framed house that we have lovingly renovated and remodeled. As far as possible, we have preserved or restored the old wooden floorboards or wooden framework.
