The cottage is heated either by an electric boiler with wiring to the entire building or by a wood-burning fireplace.

The house has a garden of over 1,500 m², which opens directly onto the Lachsbach. For colder days, a fireplace on the ground floor and a barrel sauna in the garden are attractive. The small wooden house is quietly located on a large meadow property, surrounded by greenery. Our guests particularly appreciate this idyllic location, the good accessibility and the coziness of the accommodation.

The Hirschbaude is located in Saxon Switzerland, directly in the Kirnitzschtal. You will spend the night in a small hut in the middle of the wildly romantic hillside garden. After your excursions, enjoy the magical evening atmosphere with a campfire or barbecue or warm up in front of the fireplace on cold. Important: There are two (very lovely) free-roaming dogs Ronja+Mary Rose, 2 cats, rabbits and ducks. The accommodation and access isnot barrier-free. A tourist tax must be paid upon arrival.

There are numerous restaurants, supermarkets, the Toskanatherme, the Kirnitzschtalbahn, the historic Sendig lift or, for example, the National Park Center in the immediate vicinity. Directly from the property you can hike to the Schrammsteine, the Kohlbornstein or the Rathmannsdorfer lookout tower. All other highlights of Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland can be reached quickly by car or public transport.
