Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Bacalar Lagoon

Paula’s place is beautiful and incredibly decorated. The view is stunning and close to everything. Paula was very responsive and flexible.

My Family and I truly enjoyed our stay. Michelle provided very detailed instructions in regards to check in which were easy to follow and made checkin very easy. While the location is out of the main stores and restaurant in Chetumal, it did provide a getaway that made us feel we were in our own retreat, removed from all the usual distractions. The home and amenities made it where you didn’t want to leave. We spent most of our time at the house and enjoyed every minute of it. We will surely be back again soon. Thanks to Michelle and her cohosts for allowing us to stay in their beautiful home. It was truly an amazing experience.

We really enjoyed our stay — the place is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for disconnecting. It’s surrounded by nature, which makes it ideal if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing escape. A couple of things to keep in mind: having a car is definitely recommended, as the property is about 30 minutes from downtown Bacalar. Getting around without transportation could be a bit difficult. Also, the house has an open-space design — there are no doors or fully enclosed rooms — so sound travels easily, and you’ll likely hear everything going on in other areas. Just something to consider if you’re sensitive to noise or traveling with a group. That said, the service was excellent. The hosts were extremely kind and responsive. They allowed us to leave our luggage well before check-in and even gave us wristbands to access a nearby balneario, which was a lovely surprise. Overall, it’s a wonderful place with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We’d definitely stay again!

The cabin is identical to how it looks in the photos, everything was super clean and tidy. It felt like being at home, there is a large patio and in the mornings you can hear many birds singing. I would only recommend more lighting in the courtyard at night. The area is very quiet, we had a perfect rest. We traveled with our pet, so the large patio was super convenient Would highly recommend

Place was amazing. My only disappointment was the water pressure and the fact that there was no hot water in the upstairs rooms. Other than that an amazing place.

Great place right near town, yet still quiet. The hosts were extremely accommodating and made this trip special. I will be back!

First of all, very easy to find, and excellent attention from the host, Mr. Raúl. He welcomed us with a fruit basket, which was a nice touch. And the apartment is very cozy and the pool and area are super excellent. We will definitely be back.
