Martin is a very helpful, accommodating host who is very committed to the well-being of the guests - the accommodation has everything you need for short or longer stays with shared kitchen and living room with TV, washing machine garden and bicycles to borrow. The rooms are colorfully designed in Mexican style, with very nice typical country tiles ( Azulejos ) in the bathroom- we felt very well received and taken care of. The university and campus is right across the street - you can quickly walk to the Bahia of Chetumal and also calderitas with beach and beach cafes is not far away. Highly recommend if you are traveling alone as you will always meet people in the house.

Amazing stay, with amazing hosts, and amazing staff. We had a wonderful time and felt like we had everything we needed right there at the spot. Amazing meals, amazing massage, and an amazing kayak trip across the lagoon! Hoping to return!

The entrance to a private cabin is framed by large wooden doors. Light-colored curtains softly drape at the sides, allowing natural light to illuminate the interior. A spacious bed is partially visible, complemented by a simple mosquito net suspended above.

What a wonderful retreat! BoaBoa was everything we dreamed of and more. A quiet, special, and cared-for getaway that's also a bit removed (and thankfully) from the busier part of Bacalar. We swam, we kayaked, we sailed. We were cared for, and we had many wonderful meals and interactions in town. We hope to make it back there sometime soon. Thank you to the lovely staff at BoaBoa!

Probably our favorite place along the Yucatán peninsula. So quiet nestled within the jungle. This place is great if your looking to relax and enjoy being amongst nature. One of the most unique airbnb and the heated pool in the morning and evening was a great touch. Staff was very attentive to our needs. Can see this place becoming the go to place in Bacalar in the future once the area is developed. Would love to return here in the future.

The place is amazing, with a spectacular view at every moment of the day, from sunrise to dusk has a wonderful view. It has many places to rest on the shores of the lagoon, swing bed chairs, hammocks. The lagoon keep it clean and has depths for the little ones and the Asult, it has two platforms like viewpoints where you can make jumps. It has a nice restaurant with a variety of dishes at affordable prices (not the probes, but if I saw the menu). It has bathrooms and dressing rooms near the lagoon and you are offered towels. About the room, I will say that my stay was very pleasant, I rested very well, they could improve in the sink, the water did not leave, although the valve was kept up, they could also improve in delivering some extra savannah for those that give them very cold, I had a very good time with the temperature, but my wife and my daughter if they needed an extra savanna. That didn't detract from the quality of unbelievable I give it. Gracia

An excellent place to stay if you come to an event at the Chetumal Convention Center. Friendly service and good communication.

R&R has nice comfy rooms with ensuites just a few minutes out of the centre of Chetumal. With a central kitchen, it allows you to eat in if you want. Martin greeted me with a fresh mango and was really helpful on where to go around town and the surrounding areas. Definitely recommended!

I loved my stay! The hosts were very nice, friendly and always attentive. The space was very clean. I really recommend this accommodation in front of the university and very well served by Chetumal taxis.

I arrived really well in the family environment and enjoyed staying so close to the center but still a little quiet. I felt very comfortable and liked my hosts very much.

Beautiful house with family connection. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. No problem even with little Spanish knowledge. Great pancakes, thank you! Bike was also borrowed. It's just not much to do in Calceritas but good lake food places.

Comfortable, clean, safe place with a great location and at an affordable price. This is the second time we've stayed with Brigido. His mom is a queen who guides us and answers our questions. We will continue to highly recommend it.

The room has everything you need to rest. It has a balcony where you can enjoy a nice view towards the university and the fresh breeze that comes from the sea. It does not have parking. We left the car in front of the house and there was no problem. Breakfast includes fruit, coffee, tea, cereal, milk, bread, jam. Simple, but I think it's enough. Hosts are very responsive and friendly. We had great time, especially since they're pet-friendly. Definitely coming back.

Excellent. Easy to get to from ADO and walk to town. Felt safe as a solo female traveler. Rachel is lovely and goes out of her way to help every guest. Will return!

The rooms and the entire hotel are as described in the pictures. Raquel was an excellent host! Due to a breakdown, our arrival time was postponed to 1 AM - Raquel still allowed us to check in. Breakfast was simple but very good. Thank you again!
