Marcella ist sehr freundlich und zurückhaltend - wenn man sie braucht, ist die da, sie wohnt gleich nebenan. Die Lage der Wohnung ist wunderbar - man ist gleich in der Innenstadt und wir haben sogar in der Nähe immer einen kostenlosen Parkplatz gefunden. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und das Haus hat Charme. Die orangefarbene Wand im Wohnzimmer ist jetzt lindgrün. Den Blick vom Balkon auf den Hafen haben wir sehr genossen.

I fell in love with Syracuse, and Cinzia's place was one of the reasons I enjoyed it so much. The house is located in a perfect spot—not in the middle of the tourist crowd, but close enough to get anywhere super conveniently. Cinzia responds to messages very promptly, helped us set up parking (which is hard to do in Ortigia), and when something came up during our stay, she responded immediately and came to help us. I felt very safe in the neighborhood and the house is beautifully decorated with everything that I needed during the trip. I would definitely come back to stay!

Die Wohnung bietet einen unglaublich schönen Ausblick und die beste Sunset-View. Man sollte sich allerdings bewusst sein, dass die Wohnung direkt an der Promenade mit vielen Restaurants liegt und es etwas laut ist - vor allem Freitag und Samstag. Alberto ist super freundlich und ist uns immer entgegengekommen. Die Ausstattung ist super.

Giovanna’s place was excellent for our 3 day stay in Ortigia! The apartment was clean and even better than the photos. It was in a great location, walkabale to many restaurants, shops and main attractions. Her co worker Nella met us on check in and she was very helpful in ensuring a smooth check in with plenty of recommendations. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!!

Without a doubt, Cesare and his family are the best. We arrived very late due to a flight delay, and Leonardo was waiting for us. His kindness and enthusiasm made us feel at home from the first day in Sicily. Cesare always cared about us, which made us feel like friends rather than tenants. Due to our poor planning, we had to ask Cesare for a lot of help, and he fully showed his enthusiasm and professionalism to let us know more about this beautiful place in Siracusa. Not to mention the clean and tidy apartment, which is very beautiful and modern, and has an absolutely beautiful window view. The soundproofing is very good, you can hardly hear the sound of the washing machine running or the shower in the bathroom. In short, I highly recommend it to people who travel here by car. There is free parking, a convenience store nearby, and the neighbors are quiet and very comfortable. You wil have many times to do there. I really really enjoyed it and hope to see Cesare again!

A really beautiful apartment in a great location - walkable to restaurants and the sea. Host was super responsive and we got an early check in which was great. The balconies got sun all day and were great spots to watch the sunset. My only slight complaint would be that the shared terrace could do with a bit of up keep (eg replacing the broken sun loungers). Nevertheless, I would defo recommend!! Saw in other reviews there had been some noise complaints but we stayed for 6 nights and did not think it was too noisy - the noise you would expect from such a central apartment. The host also kindly supplies ear plugs.

Sara’s place in Ortigia was absolutely perfect. We had more than enough room for our group of seven adults. Everyone loved the location, the apartment and Ortigia as well. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed. The bathrooms were clean AND having a laundry machine was an added plus. I can’t say enough about how much we loved the place and it’s location. Last comment is the deck was great for early evening drinks and card games. Thank you for having us Sara. We highly recommend!!

Vi havde otte rigtig skønne dage i lejligheden! Vi kan kun anbefale at bo der, og vi kommer meget gerne igen! Den er helt, som man kan se på billederne. Tagterrassen er helt privat, og den er virkelig skøn og en stor luksus. Lejligheden er godt indrettet, og der er alt, hvad man har brug for. Og en stor luksus at have udsigt til vandet fra badet. Værten var nem at kommunikere med og fleksibel. Man skal kunne gå på trapper for at kunne bo i lejligheden. Placeringen var også fin ift. Ortigia, der var fem-syv minutter derned. Vi ankom med toget, og lejligheden ligger to-tre minutter fra stationen, hvilket var helt perfekt. Vi spiste is hver dag på et lille lokale is-sted, der ligger 200 meter fra lejligheden; Viola Gelateria.

This was my favorite place I stayed in Sicily. It's a short walk from some of the busier parts of Ortigia, but it was so quiet, even in the courtyard. There are regular shops in the neighborhood and the kitchen is well laid out and we were able to make a small dinner our first night and take it easy. It might be hard to tell from the pictures, but the courtyard really is private and open to the sky, a delightful place for morning coffee, and afternoon read, or a quiet nightcap. Our seven-year-old loved his sofa bed and watching TV to decompress after a long day of travel and seeing the sites. I can't say enough good things about Rita, who takes care of the apartment. She was helpful and engaging. We asked a bunch of questions about our arrival and her answers were timely and reassuring. She gave us clear instructions on how to get from the bus terminal to the apartment and gave us a warm welcome which set a pleasant tone for our trip.

Sehr schöne wohnung in einem super Zustand. Wie auf den Bildern. Die zwei Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer fanden wir super da wir als pärchen privatsfähre hatten. Gastgebering super nett und hilfsbereit. Zu verbessern: Ich würde in neue Matratzen investieren, sind viel zu weich man versinkt im Bett. Zusätzlich würde ich noch jeweils weiche schlafkissen zur Verfügung stellen, die waren steinhart. Ansonsten alles perfekt und ich kann es empfehlen.

Host went out of her way to help us access the apartment as it seemed to us that the narrow road was for pedestrians only. She helped us carry our luggage up the street and up the stairs. Very responsive and helpful. We arrived early and were allowed to leave our luggage while Carlotta the lovely and helpful cleaning lady finished her work. We had a bit of an issue unlocking the door, but hosts responded quickly to help us out.

A wonderful apartment that was a delightful place to stay close to everything Ortigia has to offer. And across the bridge you can be in Syracuse in minutes. Such a luxurious feel with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and a fully kitted out kitchen for anyone wanting to cook. Plus a living room and upstairs has a steam shower! Generous offerings of all sorts of biscuits, fruits etc let too. With 2 small balconies. Just an absolutely perfect place to stay. Such a great city to explore. We loved it all. Thankyou for having us!!

We had the most amazing stay at 'Flying Whales'. It was super easy to find and Leandro's mum, Rosy gave us great instructions for our arrival. She also left us some wine and goodies which was super thoughtful🥰 and even checked in with us by text during the holiday to check all was good. We absolutely loved our stay from start to finish and the icing on the cake is the amazing roof terrace with spectacular views. It's an amazing place to stay, right in the heart of beautiful Ortigia and we were sad to leave, but hoping to come and stay at your lovely apartment again.

Nous sommes ravis de ces trois jours passés Syracuse chez Fabio. Le logement est extrêmement bien placé juste à côté d’Ortigia. nous avons facilement trouvé à nous garer. Le logement est bien équipé et très calme. Fabio toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions, Je recommande.

Great location with a beautiful pool and lots of sunlight due to the orientation of the property. The parking is secure behind a gate, and it’s especially convenient if your car has decent ground clearance. The check-in process was smooth and easy, even without the owner present. Although the host's English isn't perfect, he is very friendly and communication was never an issue. The single usable floor is nicely furnished, and it was a lovely touch to have olive oil, vinegar, and salt available in the kitchen. The Wi-Fi worked well, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. There's also a good BBQ grill for outdoor cooking. Overall, we enjoyed the stay, and the peaceful rural area with a sunny pool was a highlight. A few improvements in the kitchen and minor fixes could make the experience even better, but the positives definitely outweighed the small details.

Abbiamo apprezzato molto la terrazza comoda x cenare al fresco e la piscina. Appartamento nuovo e ben tenuto con tutti i confort. Zona residenziale molto tranquilla, soddisfatti.

We had a wonderful time at Davide’s place . The apartment is situated in a beautiful garden , with no sound except the cicadas . Nice restaurants nearby and fish market selling fish straight from the boat , which we bought several times - very fresh . We especially liked the Fornace restaurant , right by the sea with smoking Mount Etna on view in the distance . Loved Ortigia too . So atmospheric, even before we stumbled upon a rehearsal for Dolce and Gabbana’s fashion show one morning !!Loads of great cities for sightseeing nearby and we discovered several beautiful beaches in the nature reserve . Davide was very helpful and thoughtful and we enjoyed our stay very much . Thank you

Our stay at Jo and Davide‘s place was more than amazing! This place is beautiful with everything you need! We stayed with three girls for our first visit to Sicily! It was the perfect location to explore the south of the island. Must see‘s are Scicli, Ragusa, Noto and much more! The hosts shared a lot of tips! Our highlight was the pool with the stunning view! We want to highlight that the place is even more beautiful than on the pictures! Thanks Jo and Davide! We will for sure come back!

We enjoyed our time and would like to thank Gianluca and his family, especially Maria and Sebastiano for taking so much care of the property. We have been invited to an Aperitivo with Sicilian wine and food, we loved it. We can highly recommend the accommodation if you want to stay around Noto/ Marzamemi. Our stay at this beautiful villa was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, my wife and I were captivated by the stunning views that surrounded the property. It was a great stay at Rosario‘s place. It is a quiet area but perfectly located for trips to the sea, to beautiful cities and other destinations. Especially for families with kids recommended. Our children loved the cat and the dog as well as the pool of course. Thank you very much!
