Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Avola

We had a wonderful time with baby and dog. The house is great, with a nice terrace, lots of seating and fruit trees in the garden. It is in nature and we were all to ourselves. At the same time, the location is a very good starting point for beautiful excursions. We were received in a very hospitable, helpful and courteous manner.

Our stay in Scicli was absolutely perfect. The accommodation itself was beautifully designed, with authentic touches and thoughtful details that made us feel instantly at home. What made the experience truly special was the location — one of the most beautiful areas we’ve stayed in during our time in Sicily. We felt immersed in the true Sicilian vibe, surrounded by friendly locals, fantastic restaurants, and a vibrant, picturesque town center just a short walk away. A heartfelt thank you to Diego, who was incredibly responsive and supportive throughout our stay. No matter the hour or the question, he was always ready with helpful advice and a friendly attitude. His kindness truly elevated our experience. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy real Sicilian charm, warm hospitality, and a perfectly curated space.

The host was very friendly and welcoming. The view of the old city from the entry to the the property is stunning. The air conditioning worked great. Remember to use stairs when possible if you walk to the old city. Parking can be a challange. There is an underground parking garage that is a 5 minute walk. You need a small rental car for most of the street parking.

For us it was the perfect place to stay. Charming, well designed apartment with unbelievable views of Modica. The terrace was ideal to have a glass of wine in a quiet area overlooking the city. You will encounter more cats that people here, still, it only takes few minutes taking the stairs to be in the very center of the town. If we are lucky to come back, we will try to stay here again.

Very nice accommodation in the center of Raguse. The place is clean and neat, we had a nice time there! The apartment has everything you need for a pleasant stay, and the city of Ragusa is simply breathtaking and deserves that we linger there for several days! really great

Anna’s place is beautiful and in pristine natural surroundings. She has designed the space thoughtfully and it’s well appointed. Her recommendations were also great. We enjoyed a relaxed vacation here and highly recommend.

Silvia was an excellent host, always responsive and very helpful. We were able to find the villa with her instructions and she was there to greet us and say goodbye when we left. The villa was spotless and we loved the outdoor space with all its different seating areas and bbq. The house was well equipped with thoughtful touches. There were lots of little extras for our stay including clean towels, jams, treats and Prosecco. A great base for exploring Sicily’s south east. Highly recommend this stay.

We were happy to stay at Lorenzo's place. The place is really peaceful, quiet and restful. You can stroll quietly, choose the best place to settle in for an aperitif, having the pleasure of tasting the very good wine and sausage produced and offered by the owners. The house is also 15 minutes away from Comiso airport. Our only regret is that the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the beautiful pool which is a real invitation to swim! This is a very nice place that I would recommend!

A lovely, contemporary, comfortable home with great showers and comfortable beds. Our only issue was the distance from Noto, on a challenging road, which was much further than expected. Carlo and Stella went out of their way to respond to our needs.

If I could give this stay more than 5 stars I would - what a wonderful place - across the valley from Noto, in the most peaceful setting - the villa is fully equipped with a great stock of the essentials in the kitchen, perfect amenities in the bathroom, great outside area with the pool the perfect respite for those summer days. Cristiano gave us great recommendations for the area, and was so nice for our welcome and our farewell - we will be back.

Villa Sorelle was a wonderful stay! It does not have close neighbors, so was peaceful and private, but also is only a short drive into Pozzallo which is a lovely sea front town. The pictures accurately show it, nicely updated, clean, and with nice pillows and cushions throughout. The host also arranged a lovely crib and high chair for us. Highly recommend!

The villa is right on the beach, you can't get any closer to the sea, you open the back gate and here it is right in front of you - no crowds, just stretches of sand and crystal clear water. There were days we literally saw no other people. Pool area is brand new and again amazing, you can relax in no time. As for the villa itself all as per description, two separate entrances suited our party really well, upstairs apartment has the most beautiful sea view from the bedroom and amazing terrace. Downstairs apartment is also equally comfortable. What I really liked there was lots of stuff inside the house to make the stay most comfortable, sunscreen + insect repellent, board games, bluetooth speaker, spices and condiments in the kitchen. You need a car to get around as the area is remote and private which is only a plus for me. We wish to be back one day, highly recommend Viviana's place to reconnect with nature and have a proper rest.

The place is exactly what we were looking for. Quietness and peacefulness surrounded by Sicilian olive trees. The pool was great, the facilities were spot on and the bathroom and bed very comfortable. Also, the airco worked and pool filter worked perfectly. Last but not least, the recommendations Emanuela gave us were outstanding!

Carmela’s place was perfect for us. The space was equipped with everything we needed and the swimming pool was divine (the kids absolutely loved it). It was well located. Carmela was a truly fantastic host - thoughtful and communicative. She considered all the small details to make our stay the best it could be. Highly recommend.

We stayed 6 nights at Casa Cambria. The house is very light and airy, instant holiday feeling! The view is just stunning, the sound of the waves very relaxing. You can acces the rocks and the sea trough a garden gate and take a swim (not for small children maybe because of the rocks). Everything we needed (and more) was present in the villa, everything was very clean when we arrived. The host Luciano was really friendly and easy to communicate with trough messages. He was always available and helped us find a doctor late at night. We would totally recommend Casa Cambria for a relaxing holiday!

Simple and practical accommodation, with all the essentials for a short or longer stay. The twin room, located on the street side, is a little noisier than the other, but the neighborhood is generally quiet, and ideally located a few minutes' walk from the main square. The parking space right outside the door and always reserved for guests is a real plus. Giusy doesn't hesitate to give detailed addresses and tips for discovering the surrounding area. A great place to discover Baroque Sicily.

Beautifully located lodge close to great beaches. We were warmly welcomed and felt right at home in this beautiful accommodation. Beautiful bright house with amazing views for those seeking peace. Marzamemi and Noto nearby are highly recommended. In any case, a car is needed here. Carmela was available every day and very warm. Would choose this place again and again

My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

Fantastic place to stay—clean, newly renovated, and equipped with everything you need. The location is close to historical cities and beautiful beaches. Having a car definitely adds to the convenience.

The place was wonderful. You come into the apartment and immediately feel comfortable. Above all, the view is an absolute hit and you can spend a romantic evening here with wine and cheese. Even if the streets are a bit narrow for a car and you usually have to look for a parking space, it is very helpful, as the accommodation is located very high up. In the evening, you can enjoy a short hike, but especially with suitcases, a car is worthwhile here. I highly recommend the RAPPA wine bar nearby. We will be back

Simonetta’s place was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. She even left us fresh fruit and local treats. Thoughtful extras like bathrobes, slippers, and beach towels made our stay even more comfortable. The apartment is conveniently located right next to the Ortigia market.

This is a great place to stay in Sicily – tranquility, beautiful scenery and the typical Italian hospitality.. We stayed very happy with our stay at Alessia's home. Spacious and clean apartment with space provided for parking. There is a great beach nearby. We're glad that Avola fully met the goals of our trip! It's the perfect mix of place and experience.
