Waterfront vacation rentals in Avila Beach

We came to Cayucos to enjoy a couple of days before moving our daughter out of her dorm at Cal Poly. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and a great location to go exploring with our dog. We appreciated the little touches from the nice products, the coffee bean grinder and the water filter machine. Everything is new and the decor felt very cozy. The comfortable bed and the rain shower were also nice to have! Though it is small, it really didn't feel that way! We will definitely come back and recommend to other Cal Poly families.

Brenda’s place is kept super clean and is one block off of the water. It’s up on a hill so it still has a good view as well. Brenda was communicative to ensure we were well taken care of and the value was excellent! We were able to walk right to the marina, the Big rock, restaurants and shops. The condo has a great tv, and stocked kitchen with coffee. I highly recommend this home to stay in!

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Mary Anne’s little oasis. It is the perfect size for two people with everything you could need to make your stay comfortable. I would definitely book another vacation at her place.

We had a lovely stay! The house is just as described —peaceful, spacious, and surrounded by nature. We especially enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and had fun around the pool table and fireplace. The kitchen nook quickly became our group’s favorite spot. The home was more than comfortable for the six of us and would easily suit eight or even ten. We even had deer visiting the property, which made the setting feel extra special. Given the home’s size and natural setting, maintaining it is no small feat. The host was responsive and helpful throughout. Overall, it was a great getaway!

Spacious. Fantastic location on the edge of shops and restaurants. Quiet love having the beach cruisers. A few minute walk to beach really enjoyed our time there. Definitely recommend.

Team Central Coast was great and the home was exactly what we had expected! Overall, was a wonderful trip and we highly recommend staying at this home- the views were oustanding and the home had everything we needed (and then some)! My only (slight) complaint was that the required in-person check-in process was a bit stressful as we were traveling from Arizona over two days, so it was a little nerve-racking knowing someone was waiting on us to arrive by a certain time. We also encountered an unexpected storm once we hit SLO, so that slowed things down even more and made arriving on time even more stressful. The norm anymore has been no-contact check-in, so it was a little surprising to know we needed to meet with someone at check-in, but definitely not a game-changer, just a little different than what we are used to nowadays when using AirBnB.

Christine's home was beautiful and clean. There was plenty of space for our 2 families to eat, sleep, and play. With kids, it was ideal to have access to the barn, grounds, as well as the private pool. The surroundings were picture perfect from dawn through the evening. The location was convenient to explore Paso Robles and San Simeon. And the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a few meals at home comfortably. As a host, Christine was responsive and went above and beyond to mail us an item we had left behind. We really enjoyed a relaxing weekend on the Central Coast!

We had the BEST week at Strandcastle 2.0! We booked the house to celebrate our son’s 8th grade graduation and it could not have been a more perfect place for the occasion. The house is absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious — it easily accommodated our large group with room to spare. Family members stayed with us throughout the week and others came to visit, and everyone commented on how comfortable and well-appointed the home was. The views are amazing, and everything we needed was right there. It truly felt like a special home away from home, and it made this milestone celebration even more memorable. We can’t thank the hosts enough. The communication was great and the entire experience was seamless. We’re already hoping to come back!

First, the place is great. It is spacious, the bedrooms are large, and the view is fantastic. Being dog lovers, the highlight for us was Styx the ranch dog who kept us company all weekend. The house was clean and well stocked. The furniture is dated but comfortable. The master bathroom has a heater that made my shower very nice!

If you are looking for a peaceful few days to get away, this is the perfect place! It was quiet and serene. Plan to do a beach fire which is steps from the Airbnb. Everything is walking distance, including the local grocery store, restaurants and quaint, antique shops. Also, walking the Bluff, which hugs the ocean was very relaxing and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others.

Perfect spot, perfect condo. Very much enjoyed this beautiful home for our stay. Everything was clean and comfy, good assortment of amenities, can’t beat the ocean views for sure. The gated private parking was a huge plus as we were driving a dually one ton and finding street parking would have been a nightmare. Will be my first place to check for availability when I return to Pismo.

What a beautiful stay- close to the water, views of the rock, walkable to food spots. It was also very clean and spacious. Especially loved the rooftop dining area! Would definitely stay again.

Awesome condo right on the beach! Super clean and the best view and location - listening to the ocean was the dream! The beach is a gorgeous and long and very beautiful - it's busy with cars and people but we loved it!

This property has an awesome location - just steps from the beach. What really stood out was how responsive the host is. We checked in just before midnight as we were stuck in traffic but she stayed up to make sure we got in all right. Whenever we had a question, she was quick to respond. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect spot at the perfect beach We can't say enough about how much we love this place. This is our second stay here. It's super convenient (right across from the beach), very comfortable and has everything we need to enjoy the beach. The deck is perfect for BBQ and the view of the beach and sunsets is spectacular. We highly recommend this place and will hope to come back next year.
