The Clos de la Duchesse

Claire's home is quite spectacular & certainly has the wow factor from the interior, beautiful decor, views to the setting at the foot of the castle. It all felt very special. We were a party of 13 adults but more than enough space as the layout & different areas of the house enabled us to spread around, almost making it difficult to choose where to spend most time! Sunsets from the terrace were stunning & colour changing castle good fun. The house is super well equipped with everything you need. Kitchen gadgets & plenty of crockery - great for self catering as we did. Ample parking & really easy access into the small town of Duras - walkable in a couple of minutes & everything else you might need a short drive away. Claire was friendly & helpful from the outset with good communication that was 3 way with Florence who greeted us & was our friendly go to whilst there. We had 1 or 2 minor issues but Claire was quick to help so didn't spoil our fabulous week. Would highly recommend!

Perfect accommodation in a tranquil idyllic setting. Lance and Louise both lovely, responsive and helpful. We had occasional visits from placid Dottie the dog who is gorgeous. Highly recommended, wouldn’t hesitate to visit again!

Very nice stay. 2 lovely dogs that did not bother us but stayed at a distance. The owners live in the house on the premises but left us in peace. The pizza in the weekend was great. Spacious garden, swimming pool and enough place to sit in the garden

Spent a very relaxing week at Jardin Acoustic in June 25. Location and property and weather were perfect for us (4 x adults and 1 x toddler). Very private gardens and felt very safe for our Granddaughter with plenty of space for her to play and explore. Helped by her new best friend Bella. Local super market is 5 minutes away and plenty to see in the local area if you feel like a drive out. In summary > perfect holiday..

Wonderful home in the small charming town of Monségur. Host was easy to communicate with and attentive. Nice kitchen allowing us to cook one evening. Home exactly as described.

Huw's house is amazing - a real gem. Fantastic pool and garden, friendly area and a homely house. It's even better than the photos prepare you for. Fantastic location - in the heart of a small, friendly village (30 sec walk from the door for morning croissants and baguettes) and a short drive to Duras which had loads going on. Had everything we needed for a wonderful week's holiday and wished we had longer. No problems at all (main bed is a perfectly comfortable double!). Terrific communication from Huw throughout and a friendly person in the village manages the property. Highly recommended.
