With bathing facilities on the river La Dronne lies Le Petit Garcon a charming holiday home. 1.5 hour drive to the Atlantic coast. Excellent wineyards in Pomerol and St Emilion on a 30 min drive. Hiking, golf, tennis, horse riding and cycling. 2 major bathing areas at the bicycle distance from the house. 2 minute walk to the local bakery and restaurants. The house offers a nice garden, several nice patios. Perfect for a family/group of 7-9.

We absolutely loved our stay! Debbie and Mark were the best hosts and left us with some fantastic recommendations on places to visit. The house was beautiful, clean, spacious and has a fantastic outside area with shady spots to sit in, a stunning pool with plenty of sun loungers. There was ample space for all of us, we loved the outdoor dining area. We can’t wait to come back and visit again soon!

A spacious games room features a blue ping pong table at the center, complemented by a foosball table and a pool table in the background. Stone walls and wooden beams provide a rustic atmosphere, while overhead lighting ensures a well-lit space for recreation.

We loved our holiday at Maison des Abeilles. We were there with our family, including 3 grandchildren aged 9, 7 and 5 months. The house is a good family house, comfortable, very well equipped and welcoming. The kitchen and bathrooms are a little dated but all is clean, the beds are very comfortable with nice linen. The two covered terraces, one facing east, the other west, with dining tables and chairs are great. The garden is spacious and private, the heated pool, approx 12x6m, is perfect. Nearby, beautiful Aubeterre sur Dronne is a lovely village. The local area is rural, unspoilt and very peaceful. We enjoyed some local walks from the house. There was an issue with the drains during our stay. Chris responded immediately and quickly arranged appropriate help. All was sorted quickly. We would happily return.

Un immense merci à Marjet pour ce séjour absolument parfait ! Son logement est un véritable petit havre de paix : impeccablement propre, décoré avec goût, ultra confortable et parfaitement équipé. Tout est pensé dans les moindres détails pour qu’on s’y sente comme chez soi. L’accueil de Marjet a été exceptionnel : chaleureux, attentionné et très professionnel. Elle a été disponible, réactive et pleine de petites attentions qui ont vraiment fait la différence. Je recommande les yeux fermés et j’espère avoir la chance d’y revenir très bientôt !
