Vacation rentals with lake access in Amsterdam

What a wonderful place and a great host. The house is a lovely vintage thatched roof house with waterfront on both the back and front of the house. There are kayaks and a paddle boat for fun which we used. The area is quiet with quaint villages nearby and a grocery store less than a mile away. We had a very good experience and I recommend it highly to anyone wanting be close to Amsterdam but sleep in the peace of the country.

Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Aufenthalt bei Anneke. Das Haus ist schön und im Hot Tube kann man herrlich entspannen. Anneke ist super gut zu erreichen und antwortet immer sehr schnell! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Richard en Brenda zijn zeer verwelkomende hosts, geen enkele vraag is te veel en ze zijn heel pro-actief. Bij aankomst bleek de Jacuzzi stuk, maar de boot werd dan gratis aangeboden, en zo hebben we een heerlijk tochtje op de plassen kunnen doen. het huis voelt aan als een thuis, alles is in huis om er een leuk verblijf van te maken (keukenbenodigdheden, kruiden, etc maar ook gezelschapspellen, een Wii,...) zeker aan te bevelen hier te verblijven

Wir hatten 4 sehr schöne Tage in der idyllischen Umgebung und dem sehr schönen Haus. Wir waren dort zu fünf und hatten auch einen Hund dabei. Das hat alles super gepasst. Auch mit dem Boot zum Häuschen fahren und die Gegend erkunden hat richtig Spaß gemacht. Wir würden auf jeden Fall gerne mal wieder kommen. Liebe Grüße und vielen Dank. Familie Winkler

Sehr netter Kontakt mit raschen Antworten von Wouter. Die Lage des Hauses ist wunderbar, ruhig und mit einem tollen Blick auf das Wasser ringsum. Schöne bodentiefe Fenster und das Haus ist genauso wie im Inserat beschrieben. Es ist nicht weit nach lisse zum Keukenhof, Utrecht und Amsterdam.

A beautiful house in a peaceful, quiet place. It has everything we needed for a long time stay. Jorrit is very helpful, ha was always avalaible if we had any questions. We definitely recommend this place.

Wir haben 5 Nächte hier verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und gemütlich. öffnet man die Haustür steht man in einem kleinen Flur, von dem aus geradeaus die recht steile Treppe in den zweiten Stock führt. Oben links (mit dem Blick auf den Kanal) steht 1 Einzelbett. Oben rechts ist das zweite Schlafzimmer mit einem 1,40m Bett und einem Einbauschrank. Zwischen den zwei Schlafzimmern ist das Badezimmer mit der Dusche und einem WC. Vom Flur aus gleich rechts führt die Tür in den offenen Wohn- Essbereich (Sofa, Tisch, 4 Stühle , 1 Hocker) mit offener Küche. Von der Küche aus gelangt man zur Gästetoilette und in den Außenbereich : Terrasse und nach einer kleinen Treppe steht links der Schuppen (Waschmaschine und Abstellbereich ) mit Blick auf den Kanal. Sitzmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Gut zu wissen: - Hintertür öffnet man, indem man beim Drehen des Schlüssels die Klinke nach oben schiebt. -Bett ist eher weich und auch schon etwas durchgelegen Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen.

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der Unterkunft. Die Bilder entsprechen genau wir es aussieht. Die Kommunikation mit Sandra war auch sehr gut 😊

We loved our stay in Uitgeest! It's a little far from the train station (half an hour walk), but the walk is fun and through the beautiful small city center. The whole apartment was beautiful and well-laid-out, and everything was super clean. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for anything more — it was perfect! We particularly loved the porch overlooking the canal, though we weren't there long enough to fully avail of it. All-around, a great place to stay in a very beautiful spot not too far from Amsterdam.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve been to. Fantastic nature, close to the major cities Utrecht and Amsterdam, cca 30 minutes by car to either one. The apartment is on the roof of the building, surrounded by succulents and flowers. The view from the apartment is breathtaking. The nature park part of the lake is a must see. The staff is very helpful and friendly, we will be back for sure!

Loved our stay at this beautiful apartment. Cabin rooms were perfect for teens (13 & 15) and location was excellent with nice restaurants and supermarket in easy walking distance. Very friendly hosts, would love to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was clean and well-equipped, and the location was amazing. We spent many hours enjoying the Kralingse Bos right across the road, and loved being able to easily walk to the grocery store and nice restaurants/cafes nearby. The laundry machine was a bonus and the large rainfall shower in the bathroom was really nice. The back porch was lovely and sunny in the afternoon, perfect for reading or a cup of coffee. Overall very happy we got to spend a week here.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad en genoten van het uitzicht. Het huisje was schoon en netjes en van alles voorzien. Het uitzicht was geweldig. Helaas liet het weer het niet toe maar de mooie momenten hebben we heerlijk op het terras en de steiger kunnen zitten. We logeerden in huisje # 5. Echt een aanrader. Goede bedden en volledig uitrusting in de keuken.

We spent 4 nights over Easter in Rudi‘s cottage and throughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very bright and clean with a comfy bed. and sofa, a great shower and excellent lighting (this is something that I often miss in hotel rooms). The view from the terrace is outstanding. We were lucky with the weather and spent many hours there after cycling in the area or visiting nearby Utrecht. Rudi is a very friendly person, always smiling, giving us recommendations etc. Would re-visit anytime. Thank you, Rudi - also for the delicious welcome-cake!

Absolutely wondeful cottage on the water - cosy, comfortable and very well thought out. We had a fantastic time going out on the boat (our little 4 year old learned to row!) and sitting on the deck, enjoying watching the ducks and coots. Mike and Denise are very attentive hosts. We miss it already and hope to be back!

Zeer fijn verblijf gehad. Goede communicatie met Richard om het huisje binnen te komen (hij was zelf nog op vakantie). Zeer schoon huisje van alle gemakken voorzien. Prachtige grote tuin met uitzicht en veel rust. In de zomer lijkt het me heerlijk om hier terug te komen. Een 2 persoonsbed staat op de overloop en deze ruimte is niet af te sluiten. Met iets oudere kinderen is dat goed te doen, maar gezien het bed aan een open trap staat raad ik dit niet aan voor hele jonge kinderen. Of je moet als ouders onder een heel schuine wand slapen. Vloerverwarming was zeer aangenaam. Wij hebben ons heel erg vermaakt in de omgeving! Dankjewel Richard!

Edam is a great place where you can easily get everything you need on foot. It has lots of great restaurants in walking distance and everywhere has picturesque canals and waterways. Super friendly and relaxed home with top class amenities. Perfect for a family .

Wir haben uns bei Lonneke sehr wohl gefühlt! War alles wie auf den Fotos beschrieben. Ich fand auch toll das Sie mir immer schnell auf meine Nachrichten und Fragen geantwortet hatt. Die Unterkunft war sauber und gut eingerichtet so das es an nichts gefehlt hat. Die Lage ist sehr toll und mit dem Bus sehr gut von Amsterdam erreichbar und man ist in gut 15 Minuten im Zentrum! Wenn man Ruhe haben will nach der Hektik von der Stadt,kann ich diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen! Einfach super schöne Lage und super Gastgeber! Danke für die tolle Zeit und für Deine Gastfreundschaft! Komme gerne wieder wenn ich wieder einmal in Amsterdam bin. War alles Top!

Angelique is a super host, very responsive and on hand if you need anything answered or help with directions etc. I have not encountered a better air bnb host :-) The water cottage is peaceful and restful and has everything you need. For Amsterdam you must be either prepared to drive or happy to walk just over 1.3 miles into the town. Its a 45 min bus into Amsterdam which is pretty regular or you can drive 15 mins to a train station and make your way in from there. We had no problem with this at all but some might be put off. However the location and quiet peace by the water was super and worth it!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne, unvergessliche Zeit bei Rianne und Ramond. Es ist eines der schönsten Airbnb's in denen wir bisher übernachtet haben. Das kleine Häuschen am See lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir saßen Abends draußen im Grünen und haben die Entchen beobachtet und konnten die herrlichsten Sonnenuntergänge bestaunen. Die Unterkunft und alles drum herum ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und stilvoll eingerichtet. In der gut ausgestatteten Küche konnte man wunderbar ein leckeres Abendessen zaubern. Rianne und Ramond sind sehr nette und herzliche Gastgeber. Sie waren jederzeit erreichbar und sehr reaktionsschnell. Liebe Rianne und Ramond, danke, dass ihr es Menschen möglich macht auf eurem wunderschönen Fleckchen Erde eine schöne Zeit zu verbringen. :)
