Very beautiful place peaceful relaxing

I had a nice time at Anja and Hans's cottage. It didn't feel "tiny" at all and everything was definitely to your liking. You will definitely relax in this location and the deer complete it. Anja and Hans were super nice and made sure everything was clear from start to finish. I'd definitely be back again!

Very happy with my stay at Shirley’s Airbnb. As and Italian living in the Netherlands I felt like I was in Italy for the weekend. The hosts are so friendly to talk to. Happy to have tried their wine, we bought more to bring home. They provide every meal, you’re treated to good food from beginning to end, it really reminded me of an Italian Agriturismo. Highly recommend!

Everything was amazing :) Sonja is a great host and the house has everything needed for our stay:) fresh eggs from her chickens was really nice gesture :) The surroundings was very pretty and nice to walk around :) Can definitely recommend !

Really nice house and peaceful surroundings, Edam is a Hidden Gem and just 20 mins away by bus to the city centre, the host also very responsible

everything was perfect the very pleasant, well-equipped accommodation and the beautiful setting nature and small animals at the rendezvous really exotic

Very pleasant place. Beautiful large space where it is wonderful to stay with a small child. Near the forest, lake or village. Plenty to do by bike!

Jeanette's place is even nicer than in the photos in the listing. We were greeted with fresh flowers on the dining table and a few cool drinks in the refrigerator. The path to the beach leads through a super nice neighborhood and is very easy to do on foot. In coordination with Jeanette, we were able to park our car on the property before check-in and after check-out, which made the parking situation much easier for us. I'd love to come back soon ☺️

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

Jokelien and her partner were kind, thoughtful, and enjoyable hosts. The house is situated in a peaceful and beautiful place, they anticipated many things we didn't even know that we needed. The property was charming, clean, and wonderfully located. They had recommendations which made our visit smooth, comfortable and special. Highly recommended!

Our recent stay was for 4 nights, but we wished we had booked longer. The property was very clean, very modern and had parking that was safe and easy to find. after the long drive the hot tub was hot and lovely to relax in! We loved that the property was accommodating for animals and we immediately felt at home with the very friendly hosts. we would definitely stay again.

Was here with three friends and had a great time! Very quiet, great nature and very well maintained! Definitely recommended :)

Very nice place to stay in an excellent location. We felt very comfortable. Ideal for excursions. Everything is very easy to reach and very quietly located right on the water. Very delicious breakfast from Esther for a fee. We will be happy to come back sometime. Thanks to Esther & Marc as friendly hosts.

Wow! Nor and Mat’s cottage was the perfect escape. The most comfortable stay with picturesque views. The home was immaculate, and Nor and Mat have thought of everything—including toys and crafts for our 3 year old. Their communication and instructions were great, too. The location was wonderful too—a short drive to many restaurants and stores while still quiet and peaceful. We loved our time there!

Had a very nice stay. Good communication with Richard to enter the cottage (he was still on vacation himself). Very clean cottage with all the comforts. Beautiful large garden with views and lots of tranquility. In the summer it seems wonderful to come back here. A double bed is on the landing and this space cannot be locked. With slightly older children, that is easy to do, but given the bed is on an open staircase, I do not recommend this for very young children. Or you have to sleep under a very sloping wall as parents. Underfloor heating was very pleasant. We had a great time in the area! Thank you Richard!

Truly an amazing stay! The only downsides I believe were a lack of a microwave and toaster. I was also a little surprised by the unexpected tax I had to pay separately Idealy I hope for this Tourist tax to be included in the total payment next time please because nobody carries cash now days Other than that the view was spectacular! The place was super comfy and the area was very peaceful. Thank you so much! had a brilliant experience

Angelique is a super host, very responsive and on hand if you need anything answered or help with directions etc. I have not encountered a better air bnb host :-) The water cottage is peaceful and restful and has everything you need. For Amsterdam you must be either prepared to drive or happy to walk just over 1.3 miles into the town. Its a 45 min bus into Amsterdam which is pretty regular or you can drive 15 mins to a train station and make your way in from there. We had no problem with this at all but some might be put off. However the location and quiet peace by the water was super and worth it!

Everything was as described - we felt very comfortable. The dog had a designated area in the garden and could run around freely. The hosts were always available and responded immediately to inquiries. Would highly recommend!

We had a great weekend. Very peaceful place, we disconnect completely . Frogs and birds were singing. We have the company of some ducks in the morning on the dock 😍 The setting is manifest. When checkout time arrives, you don't want to leave. Beautiful walk around the polders and possibility to take a boat ride. Frédérica is very welcoming and speaks French very well. Don't hesitate, if you love nature and tranquility.

We had a wonderful week here. We stayed here with 3 people. The house is in a very quiet location, is very nicely decorated. We didn't miss anything. We felt very comfortable here. We also found the personal welcome very pleasant. It is about a 10-minute walk to the center. You can go on great bike rides here or hike through the dunes. The beaches are fantastic. Frank is a very nice host. We can fully recommend this place and would be happy to come back.

The apartment is very cozy and stylish. The amenities are as described and you will find everything you need. There are also games and reading material. The location is excellent, very close to the sea and the dunes. We were provided with a card for admission to the dunes. Our bikes were accommodated perfectly in the small courtyard. All in all, we enjoyed our vacation here very much and are very satisfied.
