Vacation rentals with a kayak in Amador County

Anne’s house made our trip so wonderful. She is very prompt response with clear and detailed information. She was flexible by accepting for guests (extra charge) that saved me quite much time when searching a house for our big group. We will come back if the kids want to ask for playing with the snow again.

Great house and beautiful landscaped yard. Convenient location and wonderful neighborhood. Was an enjoyable stay.

Great stay for family! Outdoor patio is super enjoyable and there was plenty of kitchen tools and dish ware! Samantha was super responsive and Friday. Great stay, would recommend!

Amazing space for a weekend trip!! Nearby to lake and especially amazing host has kayaks to use. Only con was there was no toilet paper

We had a great time around the holidays. The house was big enough to fit 2 families with 4 small children. Very close to the lake to go on walks and use the small playground there. The place is also close to town to get your supplies.

What was great: The bedroom configuration worked great for our family of 5, with room to spare. Beautiful setting amongst the trees, with sunrise views through the main window. Well stocked kitchen. Close to Bear Valley Ski Resort. Using the fireplace every day. What could have been better: Hot Tub water was musky/murky. Check in and check out procedure required driving an extra 20 mins on both ends (pick up and drop off are at Bear Valley resort). Lots of automated communications, much of which was duplicative and included text that reads "Click Here," but is not an actual URL/Link. Having to pack out all trash. Slow internet Despite some opportunities for improvement, especially at this price point, we had a lovely time and found communications with staff -- once we were there -- easy and responsive. Getting to the ski resort was easy and the place worked well for us. We would stay again!

Spent the weekend here with my SO and had an incredible time. Jessica’s property is cozy and nestled in the forest with amazing views in every direction. The house was super clean and with great amenities (including the use of a vehicle pass to see Big Trees State Park which is only 10 min away!). Jessica was super responsive and proactive, being sure to ask how our stay was going and ready to answer any questions we may have had. She also gave us some great local recommendations for seasonal activities around town. Would highly recommend staying here!

We loved this place. It was clean, new & tastefully decorated. We rented it at the last minute so I think that’s why we were not given check-in instructions. I had a hard time finding someone to give them to me. Once we were in though it was great. We especially appreciated the views of tall pines and the kids liked the ping pong table & games. We had such a lovely stay at Conner's place. It's a really cosy cabin that provides all you need, with all the amenities and fast WiFi. We had some nice time at the fire place and the large communal table is great for family/friend dinner hangouts. It's super quiet and peaceful around the cabin and we made some nice walks right from our door. The ski and snow areas of Bear Valley and Lake Alpine are also just a 20 minute drive and very convenient to reach. Had some good time snowshoeing! Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

We had a great stay with our group! The house was kid friendly and spacious with a lot of space outside. One thing to note is you need to take out all the trash and drop it off at an external location. This wasn’t a big deal for us, but was one extra thing we didn’t expect to do.

We had a great stay at Hibernation Station in Arnold, and a big part of that was how nice this home is! Our group consisted of 4 adults, 3 young kids, and a small dog, and we enjoyed the beautiful space inside and around the home. The large living room gave us and the kids plenty of space, and we enjoyed the large dining table (with stools/benches) for meals. The neighborhood is very peaceful, and we loved the fact that we could just walk outside onto a nearby path and hike around the area. We visited on Memorial Day and the weather was perfect and we also sat out on the beautiful deck, and also used the BBQ. One day we visited the club house so the kids could use the pool, but didn't have a chance to use the other facilities there which also looked really nice (playground, lake, tennis courts, etc). Everything was great and we'd love to stay here again the next time we come to Arnold!

We had the best time at this perfect family cabin! It was exactly as described. Laurel has thought of every amenity you could possibly need, super clean, very comfy beds and great location! My favorite spot was on the back deck with my morning coffee and also in the evening enjoying the fire pit with music and wine. We visited Calaveras Big Trees State Park and the Moaning Cavern. Our teenagers loved Fly in Lake and the Lube Room. We will definitely be back!

We came out for a weekend getaway for my birthday and this place offered what we were looking for. The house was so charming and was at a nice location. We drove up to Spicer Snow Park, which was just 30 minutes away and the kids got to play in the snow. Cyrus had some sleds available for us to use so that was really nice. We ate at Sarafina’s our first night there and the food was amazing. The house was fully equipped which allowed us to stay comfortably. On our last day there, we woke up to snow and that was a very nice surprise. We decided to extend our stay and Cyrus was very responsive throughout our stay and friendly to talk to. It made staying there that much more comfortable. My favorite part of the house was the fireplace. It provided the most coziest setting. We absolutely enjoyed our time away in this home away from home and this was easily one of our most memorable trip by far. We are looking forward to coming back for another stay.

we had a wonderful time at Sheryl's idyllic cabin. the kitchen is super well stocked for folks who enjoy cooking, plus it was a lovely walk to the grocery store! the wood burning stove kept the place so warm and cozy. and Arnold is so close to lots of entertainment. it was the perfect place to bring in the new year!

Best Airbnb experience that I’ve ever had. Most rentals are disappointing on some level. This one exceeded all expectations. All of the beds were very comfortable. It was so, so clean. 10/10

This place was in a great location if you want to visit the Calaveras Big Tree Park... 10 minutes or so away. We actually planned a lake day at New Melones Lake which was about 40 minutes away. Originally we had a bigger group who was interested in joining but ended up being a smaller group. This place is great for multiple families or just a big group of people. All the beds, linens and towels were fresh and clean. Plenty of towels which I always struggle with when I book an Airbnb. There is a smaller lake literally across the street where you can walk around to the beach area to swim... you can float... paddle board. Hot tub was great! We didn't have a chance to enjoy the garage (pool table and darts) but maybe some time in the future!
