I celebrated my 35th birthday with a few close friends and we all fell in love with the home! Very cozy, clean and everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away! Ira was a wonderful host and was easy to contact! Would definitely come back to this location!

This home was beautiful! We spent our relaxing weekend enjoying sunsets out on the wraparound porch. The views are incredible! We loved this property and can’t wait to come back again.

Fantastic house in a beautiful rural setting! The house is spotless and spacious. Well-appointed kitchen and pantry. First Airbnb we’ve stayed in that actually has storage containers for leftover food! Plenty of paper products, bath supplies and towels. Comfortable sun room and covered porch for relaxing. Hosts are very responsive! The setting is beautiful - very rural. It was fun to cook at home and relax at the house. Strong WiFi. The towns of Murphys (shops, pubs, eateries) and Arnold (Big Trees State Park is beautiful!) are each a 40 minute drive. Would definitely return to this beautiful home!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Gary’s place! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. We had a group of 3 families staying here for Memorial Day weekend. Elizabeth's house is great for spreading out and enjoying the peaceful scenery. The house is spacious and clean. And it is a 30 minute drive from a lot of activities - such as rafting on the American River. Good food and beer places within 15 minutes. Glad we stayed here!

Bob and Polly’s home was truly one of the best places i’ve stayed at. It was comfortable, cozy and very peaceful. They had everything that you would need for your visit. Very close to the big trees park. There are a bunch of restaurants close by and a grocery store as well. I would highly recommend this home!

I can’t say enough great things about Fred & Patricia’s home! My family and I were fortunate enough to be able to call Fred & Patrica’s place home for 30 days. It was amazing to be able to wake up with the amazing scenery and just a short drive or walk you can find a market and pizza! Everyone in the area was friendly. We absolutely loved it and hope to be able to visit again in the future!

The house had amazing views of the hills and trees in this area. There was plenty of space in the house and on the deck to get comfortable. The house was filled with everything that we needed to have a wonderful getaway: games, comfortable sitting areas, jacuzzi, fans, all necessary kitchen equipment, electronics and bathroom supplies and more. We’ll be back!

This was our second time staying at Bryan's home, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The house is fully stocked with everything we needed, making it feel just like home. Bryan was great with communication, reaching out early to inform us about some scheduled work in the neighborhood well before it started, which was much appreciated. We enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.

We enjoyed our third stay at Andrew's place in Pioneer and our first winter stay. Even though the property is part way up into the mountains, it was still a pleasant temperature. That said, we were about 30 minutes from the closest Sno-Park, where we could enjoy some snow play. As usual, the house was clean and well stocked on everything we could need with plenty of stuff to do inside.

We stayed here for 10 days with our young children and hardly left the property! The house is stunning and there’s so much to explore outside. We spent most days swimming in the gorgeous pool too. Michelle was the most helpful and responsive host I’ve ever met - she was wonderful. Thank you for hosting us!

From start to finish, Scott was communicative. His home was clean and the descriptions were spot on. The reviews don't lie! We will definitely book again in the future. The only thing I can recommend is bring an axe to split the wood. Every other detail has been handled. Oh, the trash is a bit small. We stayed a week.

Valerie's place was wonderful. It's in a beautiful and peaceful location. Valerie provided alot of helpful details about the home, the location and things to do. It was so helpful. She checked in with us, the day after we checked in, just to make sure we were doing well. The home is stocked with everything you might need, even things you didn't know you would need. Our trip was a mother/son trip to celebrate my son's high school graduation. Valerie even left a bouquet of balloons for my son to congratulate him on his graduation. Such a thoughtful gesture. Great cabin to stay at. Plenty of room and clean. The theater room is awesome! Great sound system and comfortable recliners. The pool table with the ping pong topper was a lot of fun. There are other cabins near bye, but plenty of space between them. Would definitely stay at the sweet retreat again!

We had the best time at the cabin with our 4 kids! Beautiful quiet neighborhood with lots of space to play outside. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. Our little kids loved the toys and games. Easy 30 minutes to skiing. We would definitely come back!

Penny’s place is truly a hidden gem—a peaceful escape from reality. My husband and I both work, go to school, and juggle raising kids, so we were long overdue for a quiet getaway to reconnect. Sanctuary in the Pines was exactly what we needed. It’s calm, quiet, and surrounded by nature—perfect for slowing down and just enjoying each other’s company. You really can't describe the experience fully in words... you just have to go and feel it for yourself. Penny is hands down the best host we’ve ever had. She’s incredibly sweet and thoughtful, and always responds quickly if you need anything. Her warmth made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. If you're looking for a place to relax, recharge, and reconnect, this is it. One tip: don’t make the same mistake we did by arriving late at night—come during the day so you can enjoy the gorgeous drive in and take in the views. One of my favorite stays. Super clean, beautiful. I love the porch. Thanks to Sheri, as this was booked super last minute, but was still able to pull through with the check in.

Had a wonderful time. Dark skies for the stargazers. Saw some house finches, quails, bees, robins, goldfinches, vultures, ravens, and dragonflies.

This family vacation was last minute decision, but the accommodations really made this trip what it was. The home was beyond welcoming from the moment we arrived, had plenty of space for our family of 6, and had all the things we needed plus much more. Our kids spent hours using the air hockey and pool table, as well as teaching our youngest to play chess. This location, as well as Bob, will surely be considered in the future when looking to get away with our family.

5 Stars – Ultimate Relaxation + Fun Spot! This Airbnb was everything we were hoping for and more! Super clean, comfortable, and perfectly set up for both relaxation and entertainment. The hot tub was amazing—ideal for winding down in the evening after a long day. The game room was a total blast with air hockey, a pool table, and karaoke—we had hours of fun. Outside, the grill and fire pit setup made for perfect evenings of good food and good vibes. The space was well-maintained, check-in was easy, and the host clearly put thought into making sure guests have a great time. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a fun, cozy getaway with something for everyone!

Just wrapped up a stay at the Treehouse Chalet and honestly, didn’t want to leave. The place is tucked away just enough to feel like a true escape, but still close to town if you need anything. Waking up surrounded by trees, sipping coffee on the deck, and theres a hot tub if you choose to relax in it. everything we needed was easily located The cabin was clean, cozy, and well-stocked. You can tell the host actually cares. Hot tub was spotless, beds were comfy, and everything worked like it should. Bonus points for the peaceful vibe and solid privacy. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The hot tub was particularly relaxing, and our family had an excellent time. The residence was spotless and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The location is convenient, with several wineries nearby and approximately a 15-minute drive to Black Chasm Cavern. I would highly recommend this property as a excellent choice for families.

We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing stay over the Mother's Day weekend. The log cabin was so inviting and we liked discovering all the little decorative touches. The beds were very comfortable and the new showers were beautiful. The kids enjoyed the stream and we spent our time in the hot tub watching a fledgling robin learn to fly under the watchful eye of its mother. The kitchen was very clean and well-equipped. The crowning welcome was a loaf of fresh artisan bread and delicious baked treats on the kitchen counter from a local bakery. The only problem was that we had to go back to work and school and couldn't stay longer.
