we had a wonderful time at Sheryl's idyllic cabin. the kitchen is super well stocked for folks who enjoy cooking, plus it was a lovely walk to the grocery store! the wood burning stove kept the place so warm and cozy. and Arnold is so close to lots of entertainment. it was the perfect place to bring in the new year!

Lovely and cozy stay. Was nice and clean. Drive way was a little intimidating but it was actually fine to drive on. It wasn’t too far from bear valley and was very easy to drive up there. We loved walking around the lake and the distance from the grocery store and gym was walkable which was convenient. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at Hector’s place. It was clean and clutter free. The kitchen had everything we needed and the appliances were new. The game room was a highlight. We played ping pong and foosball for hours. It’s in a quiet location in the hills above Arnold but only 5 minutes to the grocery store. Bear Valley skiing and sledding is 40 minutes away. We can’t wait to return here.

Trina’s place is SO pretty in the rooms, great quality comfy beds and blankets. The house is decorated with extraordinary taste and so cozy. The kitchen is on the hall way and pretty tight with pretty old cabinets and drawers, but the pots and pans are also of great quality. The only challenge is there’s no dishwasher so next time if we stay we probably will not try to cook in that kitchen. I love the water filter ready for use there, one of the most important must haves for our family.

We had a great time at the cabin. It was relaxing and peaceful! As mentioned in the listing, there are very steep stairs in the cabin. My kids /dog needed to be carried up and down. There was also not a working heater for the downstairs living room area but the fire did help keep the area warm. Overall, would stay again when the kids are older!

Had an awesome stay here! The house was very accommodating for our group. We had people arrive at different times which meant a lot of cars, the driveway is very big. The inside of the home was lovely and spacious. The rooms were very spacious as well. We had the full cabin experience even though we were two minutes from everything. And when you’re here you need to go down to the lake it was awesome!

This house was amazing. The place was nice and the surroundings were beautiful. The jacuzzi is good and it was bigger than the photos. It was perfect the only thing that I didint like that much is that some of the kitchen supplies were poorly cleaned by the previous people that stayed.

Booked Jono and Keri's place at the last minute, as my original booking at Tamarack Lodge was suddenly unavailable. They were very responsive when I requested their place and very friendly to deal with. The cabin was spacious, tidy, and wonderful to stay in for me, my dad, and my two kids. We stayed there as a home base for skiing at Bear Valley, about 30 minutes away. Jono and Keri offered up some great tips for equipment rentals and checked in with me to see how everything was going. Given the time of year, the wood stove came in handy. Really appreciate them as hosts, along with their well-equipped, well-maintained place. Would definitely book again!
