Incredible luxury townhouse, very spacious and packed with everything we needed for our stay. It is located in a quiet neighborhood away from the vibrant city center yet in a very convenient location to either walk or take public transportation to all major tourist attractions and the city center. Just around the corner from a street market, coffee shops and restaurants. The communication with Emilie was flawless and timely. I can't say enough about how great it was our stay. Emilie went above and beyond to make sure were comfortable and had a great stay. She provided local recommendations for food, activities for kids and babysitter services. Highly recommended. Definitively coming back when in Amsterdam.

I stayed for a month, and the apartment was great. It was so lovely to sit at the open windows overlooking the canal, the bed was very comfortable, I had everything I needed, and it's a short bike ride to anywhere. The tour of the upstairs was fascinating! Good to know: Part of the beauty of this place is that it's near the center, in the old section. That means there are canals everywhere, it has tons of character and history, and it's easy to get anywhere on foot or by bike. It also means that it is near a touristy area. Don't let that stop you! I don't like the hordes of tourists at all, but I was happy here. I simply rode a few blocks away at the busiest times to escape. And Herengracht itself in front of the building isn't crowded. Sure, canal tour boats glide by, but they're fun to watch. The couch is comfy, the chairs are less so, but two people can enjoy the couch. The kitchen is a little bit worn, but it was clean and served my purposes (I did not cook). I would return!

We really enjoyed our stay at Alina and Tony's home. We were traveling with our 14 month old so it was great to have a crib, high chair and toys for her to play with. The house was super spacious and comfortable and it was beautiful to stay next to the canal! Would definitely recommend staying here!

This house is ideally located just a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, providing convenient access to Amsterdam Central, Rotterdam, and the airport. It's family-friendly, stocked with plenty of toys for kids, making it a great choice for families. While the property offers a peaceful escape from city life, it's still close enough to enjoy urban amenities. However, the barbecue could use some maintenance for better usability. The house features one large bedroom and two smaller children's rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washing machine, creating a cozy atmosphere that truly feels like a home away from home.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison d'Elien et Franck, qui est parfaite pour une famille avec 3 enfants. La maison est très joliment décorée et confortable, on s'y sent comme chez soi! La communication a été très facile même si nous n'avons pas rencontré nos hôtes, tout était très bien expliqué et des douceurs nous attendaient à l'arrivée, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Nous avions fait le choix de tout faire à pied et le trajet vers l'embarcadère est un peu long (20 mn à pieds) mais en vélo ce doit être plus court. Le trajet en ferry gratuit vers la gare centrale est facile et amusant (un départ toutes les 15 mn pour une traversée de moins de 15 mn). Nous recommandons donc vivement!

Nos encantó alojarnos en esta casa, sentimos la experiencia de vivir en una típica casa de Amsterdam, en un barrio residencial tranquilo y bien comunicado. Está euipada con todo lo necesario y decorada con gusto, y Maaike estuvo siempre muy atenta. ¡Repetiríamos sin duda!

Our group of 4 enjoyed Mieke’s accommodations. We cooked in for breakfast and dinner; grocery store close and kitchen well stocked. Comfortable livingroom and beds. Nice to have 2 bathrooms. The garden space outside added a touch of hominess, along with her adorable cats; Willem especially entertained us! Location was great with trams to city center only a block away. Very responsive.

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo sogggiornato una settimana nella casa di Jos per poter visitare la Città. Con i mezzi pubblici è stato facile raggiungere sia l'aeroporto sia il centro con i vari musei. La casa di Jos è molto grande, comoda, ben arredata e pulita, è situata in un quartiere tranquillo vicino ad un lago con spiaggia. Non abbiamo conosciuto di persona Jos e la sua famiglia perché erano in vacanza nello stesso periodo, ma la comunicazione è stata semplice e tutte le indicazioni sono state chiare.

Uns hat es hier äußerst gut gefallen und wir haben uns direkt total wohl gefühlt. Alles war sauber, aufgeräumt und gemütlich. Die Umgebung war ebenfalls super schön und in der Nachbarschaft hat man sich sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Das WLAN Passwort war hinterlegt und zudem waren auch noch ein paar Nettigkeiten im Kühlschrank aufzufinden. Insgesamt ein super Service und wir haben nichts auszusetzen.

The apartment is very well-located. Rosie was lovely to deal with: very responsive and gave us excellent suggestions. The steep winding staircases to access the apartment and the one inside the apartment are perhaps not suitable for the infirm or elderly. The apartment wasn't super pristine, and a few things were in disrepair. Kind of like if you stayed at a friend's lived-in place, rather than a sterile hotel. The cats are funny and want very much to be where they shouldn't. Good mousers.

Anouk is a perfect host, friendly and immediately responsive to a question we asked during our stay. It’s a wonderful house for a family with children— a large, open, attractive but unfussy space with its own garden and easy proximity to a market. We were 3 generations, but we grandparents had no problems, since we entered on the ground floor and climbed only one flight of stairs to the bedrooms. A happy time.

We had a wonderful time at William and Christa property. The house was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway. Christa was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making the booking process and check-in a breeze. We especially enjoyed the beautiful front yard and backyard garden and peaceful neighborhood. If you are searching for a place to stay in the Netherlands, you can stop now. This is it. It’s less than an hour away from Amsterdam, and right around Haarlem’s centre. The view to the Spaarne river and how quiet the city is, is just incredible. The photos and descriptions of this airbnb don’t do justice. I can assure you it’s much better. The house is big enough to fit five people comfortably, and it’s so beautiful that we were constantly tempted to just stay and hang out there, enjoying the view of the river at the front, or the Church of St. Bavokerk that can be seen from the kitchen; or go to the terrace if it’s sunny. I can’t recommend this enough!

We five had an excellent stay. Photos shown are accurate. We asked for a photo of the kitchen which was sent to us. Ground floor has kitchen, living room, and toilet under the stairs. Second floor has two bedrooms and a washroom with shower/bath but no toilet. Third floor is a bedroom. The place was reasonably clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Heating worked well once we figured out the thermostat. Kitchen has plenty of dishes/glasses/cutlery, etc. Small refrigerator. Bathroom was clean, and plenty of hot water. Back yard was very nice. Parking on the street was free. Streets are very narrow in the neighborhood. Very quiet. We walked to the Overveen train station to take the 20-minute train ride into Amsterdam to avoid hastle of driving and parking, but would drive to nearby Zandvoort, which is a great beach town. Nearby stores. Two bedrooms on 2nd floor had no dressers or suitable wardrobes, which would be nice to have.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Haarlem! The apartment was clean, cozy, and perfectly located near all the major attractions. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, always available to answer our questions and provide helpful recommendations. We felt very welcome and at home during our stay. The neighborhood was charming and peaceful, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. We only have positive emotions from our experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Haarlem. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Wir waren mit 3 Erwachsenen und 2 Kleinkindern dort. Schönes Haus und vor allem tolle Küche und kleinem Garten! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und die Kinder haben sich über das Spielzeug sehr gefreut. Schöne ruhige Lage. Immer wieder gerne!

We had a family reunion in Haarlem, at Ilaria's lovely house. We enjoyed everything and were really at ease in the house. The flexible check-in and check-out helped a lot with our plans. Ilaria kindly took care of making us very comfortable. I definitely recommend this lovely house.

The house of René’s is much better than what in the pictures, which was designed and renovated with high quality and tast. I love the garden as well, with the beautiful rose and birds. Every morning you will be waken up by the nice birds singing. The location is easy for both pedestrians and for those with bike, auto or boat. René makes notes clearly. You would find all facilities easy to use. Next time if I go to Muiten I would definitely choose the same house.

Wir waren 3 ältere Frauen, welche die Unterkunft von Maren gebucht haben. Uns hat die sehr ruhige Umgebung äusserst gut gefallen, vor allem, dass wir nachts ausgezeichnet schlafen konnten. Auch wenn wir von der Central Station 15' mit der Tram fahren mussten und dann 5' zu Fuss, war das für uns absolut kein Problem. Wir haben nicht in der Unterkunft gegessen, aber es wäre alles vorhanden gewesen, um Mahlzeiten zu kochen. Allgemein hat alles gut geklappt und wir würden die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen.

Wow – what an incredible place to stay! We had the most wonderful long weekend at this beautiful house. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the charm of the home and its peaceful surroundings. The location is simply breathtaking, with stunning walks right on the doorstep that made exploring the area an absolute joy. We loved discovering local spots to eat, but also really enjoyed staying in and cooking meals together in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen – it was perfect for relaxing evenings after a day out. The house had everything we needed and more, making our stay both comfortable and memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back – highly recommend!
