Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Once you leave the ferry and set your feet on the island you will be captivated by the "island feeling": away from the daily hustle and bustle, everything here has its own special rhythm The cottage is furnished in original 50’s style and has all amenities and a large terrace

Even helemaal onderdompelen in rust, kom dan naar De Tiny Treasure! De Tiny Treasure staat in het karakteristieke Graft/De Rijp, het 'Giethoorn van Noord-Holland'. Je kan varen in de Eilandspolder, fietsen langs de bloemen- en fruitstalletjes, Beemsterkaas halen of een van de vele galerijen bezoeken. Geniet van het terras met BBQ / vuurkorf, de mooie werkplek en tuin aan het water met uitzicht. De prachtige badkamer heeft Marokkaanse accenten met wastafel uit de ‘Souk van Marrakesh’.

Sleeping on the water on the Moana

Welcome aboard! From July 2023, the Moana will be available for rent. A cozy 9.5 meter boat on the Alkmaardermeer. Here you can enjoy the tranquility, the beautiful view and the setting sun, after which you will be lulled to sleep and hear the water babbling in the background. PLEASE NOTE: the boat is located on an island which can only be reached by a manually operated ferry. It sails between sunrise and sunset. After this time, you can no longer get on or off the island.

Luna Beach House is a cozy, warmly furnished house for 4 people, energy-efficient and equipped with every comfort. It is a complete house with 2 bedrooms, living room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower and toilet.

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.

Whether you want to enjoy the historic buildings and canals, the famous cheese market or just want to relax in one of the many cozy cafes and restaurants, you have come to the right place. The Popelhuisje is fully furnished and equipped with all the modern amenities you need, including Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.
