This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. Nice, small room with everything you need for a short trip. Friendly hostess. By bike you can quickly get to the old town or the North Sea. We could also rent bicycles directly at the accommodation.

Mario is a wonderful host, reachable, friendly n responsive. We had a great time staying at the property. train station, shopping centre n high street are all walkable.

An oval window provides a view of the historic Waagtoren and surrounding architecture. The image captures several buildings with varying styles and colors under a clear blue sky. Cobblestone streets and a bicycle parking area are also visible, enhancing the city's charming atmosphere.

Linda was a very kind host who always responded quickly to messages! It was noticed that she put a lot of effort into furnishing the apartment. The apartment is very quaint and cozy. You could not live more centrally in Alkmaar: shops, restaurants, etc. can be reached in less than 2 minutes. Unfortunately, the church tower clock strikes every quarter of an hour at night, which was a little difficult at night. Linda provided us with earplugs for this. But the beds were very cozy!

A modern kitchen is highlighted with a sleek dark cabinetry, complemented by a striking marble backsplash. A stylish island is surrounded by chairs, while various kitchen appliances are neatly arranged. Subtle decorative elements, such as a floral arrangement, add a touch of elegance to the space.

We felt very comfortable, the accommodation is highly recommended. The communication was great, Diwa was very friendly and absolutely helpful. Parking is modest, but parking garages are nearby. We will be back :)

TinyHouse Alkmaar is a small, very very small house.. but I felt like home. Thing is - the owners are one of a kind - and that is after staying in the previous airbnb which the host make me feel as if I am doing something wrong just for wishing to cook in the kitchen… If the only thing i mainly have to say about the “negative”, I guess - that’s the best compliment you can give, given the housing prices. If the price works for you, if the size doesn’t make you unable to move physically, you might find TinyHouse to be the best! The house is tiny, but very well planned and consolidated. Some things are inevitable- like water splashing to the floor.. while washing dishes or cooking.. I can go on and on - bottom line though - it felt like home. Arjon and Femka are the best house owners to have.. the best. To conclude, the house is small, the owners - the biggest heart (test me on that by all means). I could stay there for a year, if I could. Thank you Femka, and thank you - Arjon!
