Family-friendly vacation rentals in Akyarlar

It was our first time in Greece and as young women, sometimes it is pretty dainting to know whether the places you visit will be safe. Let me tell you, if I ever had to go back to one place on Earth, that would be Kalymnos, and a big part of it had to do with the amazing hospitality and treatment we got from Stefanos. From the first moment he sent us very clear instructions on how to find the apartment, was very responsive to any questions we had and welcomed us to the island with many recommendations on things to do. His place is very well located within a very short walking distance from the port and city center of Pothia. The apartment is pretty big, at least for us, as we spent most of the day outside. It had two balconies, a huge bathroom and very nice kitchen. On our last day we had to depart a few hours after check out and Stefanos did us a HUGE favor by letting us leave our bags at the apartment. Thank you so much for everything, we are already planning a trip to come back! :)

Amazing 3-Day Boat Tour with Mustafa in Bodrum We had an incredible 3-day boat trip with Mustafa in Bodrum. From start to finish it was a relaxing and memorable experience. The food was amazing – fresh and tasty Turkish food that we enjoyed in the sunset. We slept on the deck under the stars, which was absolutely magical. Mustafa took us to beautiful, hidden coves, where we swam in the clear, blue waters. No stress, just quiet and relaxation. Mustafa and his crew made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. A perfect way to experience Bodrum – highly recommended!

Maria's place was clean and well situated for crags (i.e afternoon wall, spartan wall, grande gotta etc. Close enough to walk to Stala's and water. Kitchen was well equipped given that it was only a studio. Great spot for a couple. Balcony would be fun in the summer.

Really enjoyed this beautiful place and it was the perfect home to host a large family Very much enjoyed the pool and living area spaces which are very spacious. The location is great as there are many different villages to go to in Bodrum area and I felt this was perfect. Amazing home. Highly recommend.

Great house and very comfortable in Türkbuku. Gets a bit noisy from the music in town after 7pm but amazing views from the house and very roomy and spacious place inside.

if I could give 6 stars I would. Niki and Thanos were excellent hosts, providing everything they could to ensure our holiday was extra special. The properties on this small complex are amazing and the views incredible. Anna, Poppy and Anna (the house keeping staff) were supper helpful, lovely and friendly. Great location , wonderful place and fantastic host Erkan who was super helpful and proactive with his communication . The house is perfectly located with close proximity to the marina and amenities , groceries . We also rented a car and access from the area was super easy . We highly recommend this place for families or a big group . We will surely come again !

Had the most amazing stay with Nina. she is so welcoming and the place is so spacious. You will definitely need to have scooters or a car to get to any of the climbing crags, so would recommend organising that before you arrive. Otherwise it was perfect, super peaceful and a great place to relax and take in the great view.

Maria is an excellent host and her place is beautiful and very cozy. I highly recommend staying there to anyone looking for a more rustic experience with an easy access to everything Kos town has to offer (~15 minutes away). You absolutely need to rent a car, a cab drive ranges from 30 to 50€ each way. The restaurant right next door is a gem and a must go. Thanks for everything Maria!

We felt right at home with Martha. From the extremely friendly reception, to the abundant water provided, wine and olive oil to great recommendations in the area. Martha made our time on Kos Island an unforgettable experience. The special icing on the cake was her cat, who greeted us kindly every morning and every evening. Excellent location near many fantastic restaurants (our favorite was right next door with amazing sea food). A bit noisy due to the restaurants around but with the door closed it was fine. Right down to the beach so a quick morning or anytime swim was in reach. Responsive and very helpful host.

We had a really great time staying at Leo’s place. The garden is lovely and we spent hours relaxing there. The kids really like playing with Leo’s cats and dogs and I have to say they were extremely well behaved, not trying to get in the house or begging for food. I get eczema from cats and dogs so I was a bit worried about that at first, but it turned out to be fine because they never come inside and didn’t seem to try and sleep on the outdoor furniture either. Leo brought us fresh eggs and grapes from his garden, and using the kitchen was easy. The location is outside the main town in the middle of Kos island and we had a rental car, so close enough to everywhere if you are driving, and far enough away to be relaxing. There are a couple supermarkets and markets within a few minutes drive if you want to cook at home. Highly recommended for a young family whose kids are keen to swim in the plunge pool and play in the garden. Great time thanks Leo!

What an amazing place, and what an amazing host! The house is ideal, with everything you could need and more, and the location - whilst remote - is simply stunning. There is everything you need close by too, with a big and affordable supermarket down the road, beaches and restaurants close and public transport surprisingly convenient (into Bodrum and the fantastic Milas). Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere as nice… David and his cohost Erhan were proactive, helpful and beyond generous too. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!

A car is highly recommended. If you have this, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view. Max 10 min to downtown, 5 min to a selection of good restaurants by the sea. If I booked immediately, only then would I probably bring a second pan. Those who cook for themselves will occasionally miss something.

Taner’s place was amazing. Had all the amenities required and was a very clean property in a fantastic location. Taner is an amazing host and is very friendly and helpful. Me and my friends had an amazing stay and we highly recommend Taner’s place and his hospitality.

The place is very peaceful, we watched the magnificent sunset, we thank Ms. Nazime very much, she gave us her peace of mind, we are very satisfied.

Our stay was lovely, the place was clean, and the staff were really nice, lovely pool, and good restaurant, we had a 10% discount on all items on the menu, we recommend their special breakfast with great varieties, we had it almost every day of our stay. good parking space, good location, there is a lovely street on the sea with restaurants and souvenir shops behind the compound, highly recommend this place if you're looking to have a great time in Bodrum. thumbs up !

A wonderful villa with sea and bay view from the terrace. It has a private pool and a beautiful courtyard. It was very clean and smelled good. Tracey was very friendly and welcoming. She was very flexible with checkin and check out time. She welcomed us and showed us around. She was very helpful with local tips. She helped me with the car rental, and advised me few restaurants nearby. We truly enjoyed all her advices. This villa is quite big enough for large families. The pool is sparkling clean and well equipped with all kind of pool toys for kids. Terrace of the villa is just amazing with the stunning view and breeze. I have no single negative point during our entire stay. For sure will come back again. I would like to thank you Tracey once again being so nice and helpful during our stay. All the best :)

We had a great stay at Mourat's farm house. The views from the 2nd floor balcony were wonderful. We watched shooting stars each night from the balcony. The house itself was beautifully decorated and cozy. The kitchen is well equipped as well. Fans are supplied in each room but it can get warm upstairs. We were able to sleep fine but for those sensitive to heat at night, it may not be enough for you. This likely isn't an issue outside of the heat of the peak summer months. It is worth noting that there is a second unit that was rented out while we were there. It is very close to the main house so you can easily hear the people when they are outside. Since we needed to have the windows open given there is no A/C..we would hear them while we were going to sleep. Overall it was still a great stay but if you are looking for a secluded place, you will only find it if the other unit is not rented out during your stay. Lastly the restaurant next to the farm house was amazing!

We stayed with a friend and my dog for 1 week to get away from Istanbul and relax. The house is incredibly pleasant, you can enjoy the terrace on every floor with a perfect view. If you're into the kitchen, there's everything from A to Z. You can stay in this great location without thinking in summer and winter, we recommend.
