Many thanks to Don Angel for his kindness, attention and service. We loved the stay. The house is in very good condition, equipped, clean and tidy. The place is beautiful to rest, surrounded by a lot of nature. It is a place that allows you to rest. Perfect for going to swim in the river that is in front of the property, cycling or going for a walk.

Casa Sofia is an absolute gem! From the amazing remote and beautiful surroundings to the wonderful property managers, you will be in for a treat! We took advantage of the massages and Tico breakfasts, and they did not disappoint! Coffee and meditation overlooking the serene landscape was a little slice of Heaven. We toured Irazu Volcano, spent time at Termales Hacienda Orosi, and experienced downtown Cartago, including the market and the Basilica. We had a fantastic time everywhere! Highly recommend staying at Casa Sofia. Pura Vida!

Large house with windows to all sides, only forest around, quiet place, good supply of firewood for fireplace well located and safe. Well equipped kitchen, maybe add 1 or 2 knives to cut. Nature included a nest in process on the terrace.
