Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Yorkshire

We had a wonderful stay! The property was delightful with many outstanding features. Very nicely equipped too and the beds so comfortable. Stunning views and space around was perfect. The hosts were excellent...very informative, alwayszavailable and extremely friendly. We'd definitely like to stay here again. The young children loved it too.

We had a really wonderful and relaxing break here with our pup walking through the Lake District. This house was perfect, in stunning gardens and close to everything we wanted to do. We even enjoyed eggs from the chickens which came to say hi to us every day. A really beautiful place to stay, comfortable and had everything we needed.

What a find! Welcoming, cosy cottage with outstanding scenery. A great base for walking too. We only stayed for one night and wished we could have stayed for more. Cottage had everything we needed and Josh is a very friendly, responsive host. We did the 5mie walk Josh recommended and ended up at The Beeley Inn - fantastic pub and delicious food. We ate in the evening at The Grouse&Claret which was more local, but wouldn't return there. Thank you for having us - hopefully will return!

This is a beautifully furnished cottage, in a lovely location. we enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor spaces whilst visiting for a special occasion. It has all the amenities you need to feel right at home along some great Board games to keep you entertained in the evenings. the host was kind and left us some wonderful snacks for Arrival and the place was exactly as they described. would definitely come again. perfect for a family get away or special occasion whilst visiting Lincoln! thank you!

We really enjoyed our 1 week stay at Ivy Nest. We had our 2 little dogs with us. Comfy bed, nice homely house, good location for amenities. Always got parked near the house and used the parking permit. Jaqueline was always friendly, left us personal recommendations (especially dog friendly places) and personal touches (cute blackboard welcoming us too) Check in was made super easy with Jacquelines picture instructions. Welcome book full of info. Internet good which was handy as we didnt have good phone signal there. We enjoyed some of the takeaways in the area as well as cooking in the house. Jaqueline left us to it, but was on hand if we needed anything. We would stay again if visiting the area.

Chloe was a great host and The Nook was everything that we needed for our long weekend in Hebden Bridge. Perfect location to access the amenities in town but also for the train station so that we could explore Todmorden. The Nook was beautifully decorated and had everything that we needed, and more, for our stay. We would definitely book again if in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay. The place was spotless, cozy, and had such a welcoming feel - it immediately felt like a little home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring without a car, and being able to walk to the lake was a real highlight. Most of all, we’re so grateful to our host, who was incredibly kind and helpful. Thank you for making our trip so special!

A lovely loft - perfect and just what we needed for our 2 day mini-break. The loft was much bigger than we anticipated so that was a lovely surprise. The little touches were great too - fresh towels, milk, butter, instructions for the hot tub, even some jigsaws for the rainy afternoon. Everything we needed. The outdoor space was so peaceful. Even though we were on the farm’s property, we felt right at home, comfortable and had the privacy we wanted. The neighbours were adorable - cows and their calves! The outdoor space was secure for our two dogs. Plenty of room for them to stretch their legs and play on the grass. Thanks for a great stay!

Apartment has everything you need; comfy bed, nice shower & bathroom, full kitchen inc tea & coffee etc, big living space with tele & board games. We’ve come away Scrabble lovers! Lovely garden & only few mins walk round to the canal & cafe. Perfect! Oh & not to forget the kind gesture of homemade tea loaf; very thoughtful & tasty! We loved the privacy of the place, no people around just nature, gorgeous view from kitchen/room, visiting squirrels, robins and hares. Very very clean, have everything you need. Mattress is too soft for us but that's all we didn't like. Close to explore all the lovely lakes for walks. Local pub only 10mins walk through public footpath, friendly welcome there as well. Overall fantastic long weekend there, thank you both !

We enjoyed our stay, just what we needed. All very clean & cosy. Bed very comfortable. Lovely garden, which we didn’t take advantage of. However we may be back in future.

Mike's place was perfect for our 3 night trip to the Colne Valley. The farm shop just across the road and pub a short walk away were very handy. The place was very clean and had everything we needed, and we felt really comfortable as soon as we walked through the front door. Would lo e to come back and explore the area more.

Mark was so welcoming and proud of his property. We only stayed a night whilst racing bikes in the area but would have loved to of stayed in at his place longer. The added bonus of Mark offering to close the driveway gate overnight gave me peace of mind with my sport equipment and was greatly appreciated, a top host! Thank you Mark

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Jessica’s place. We stayed for three nights and used it as a base for Alton Towers - which is about a five-minute drive away. The accommodation was quiet, cosy, extremely clean and warm, and thanks to a reed diffuser, always smelt fresh. The patio area was also lovely, and we enjoyed having dinner out there one evening. The complimentary biscuits and cake slices were much appreciated too. Thanks again to Jessica and her family for a wonderful stay. We’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice alternative to the hotels at Alton Towers.

Myself and my partner loved our stay here! Paul and Julie are such lovely and attentive hosts, everything is thought through and they are quick to help with anything you need. They gave us lots of recommendations for towns to visit, a tour of the Airbnb and came to our rescue when we got lost! The cabin is beautiful and even better than the photos! We loved finding newts in the garden, looking out for owls (thanks to Paul’s advice) and the hot tub was amazing in the evening. The kitchen is kitted out with everything you’d need and we loved using the barbecue and the fire pit. The main room also has everything you’d need down to hairdryer, chargers, and binoculars for the birds! We would absolutely recommend this stay and would love to return when we can! Thanks so much Paul and Julie for looking after us so well, we loved meeting you! :)

We had a lovely night away at Sedgewell Barn and it was exactly what we had hoped for. Will definitely return.

Very nice and peaceful get away, lovely surroundings and the lodge was spot on with what was shown on pictures, everything from bed to hot tub was immaculate, overall 10/10 stay, can’t wait to come again

The Lodge was a perfect place for tranquility and a proper break from the world. Winding down in the hottub watching the nature was perfect, beautiful walk into town, and for evenings indoors the Lodge was clean, cosy and had a variety of movies and books. I highly recommend sitting by the fire pit toasting marshmallows, and the homemade jam 😋. - Caitlin What a special place! I feel like I’ve been on a long challenging road to 40 but this place helped me find myself in days. Listening to birds, long hours of silence and just peace, if someone asked me if I could imagine Heaven I’d think of Rivendell. I strongly advise visitors to wait till nightfall, turn off all the lights and sit on the balcony - no lights, just silence - it’s like the earth stopped but a beautiful reminder that we should sometimes just sit back and appreciate the gifts given from nature, much love- Lee

We stayed at Orchard Stables for 1 night. When we arrived (which was late due to motorway accident traffic) we were welcomed cheerfully by Ian, who gave us lots of helpful info about the cabin and hot tub. Upon confirmation of our rough arrival time which was already on the later side, Cathy offered to pre-light our hot tub which would save the 2 hour wait for it to heat up. Much appreciated! Once we’d settled in, we walked to the centre of the village (5-10 mins) to find some food and drinks, there are plenty of options for both. When we returned the tub was still 50°c, but easily sorted by adding cold water from the tap. All lights and jets worked nicely, we spent around 2 1/2 hours in it before going inside. In the cabin, we didn’t require much with us arriving late and leaving early-ish, but it had everything we needed. The bed was a little on the firmer side but this is purely personal preference. I’d highly recommend staying here, we’d happily return!

Thank you so much Steve & Kate, not only are you both exceptionally friendly and welcoming but you have created the most beautiful & peaceful place. We were absolutely blown away that you have built the lodge yourself, the hard work and dedication speaks for itself, as it was perfect. We had lots of plans for our midweek getaway but they changed as we decided to stay local to badgers bottom and check out some local walks with our dog and then back to the lodge to chill, as we found it so quiet and relaxing. Steve gave us some fab recommendations for local walks which were great. You have both thought of everything we may need for a short stay and we will certainly be back!
