Alissa and Arthur’s place is the best. A beautiful airy loft that is much more than a place to sleep. In particular, the view out the huge picture window makes your day. You’re up high in the treetops. And the lighting on the trees reminds me of a Maxfield Parish painting. And the mossy tree trunks call to mind a Tolkien landscape. The loft is only blocks from Lake Washington. I walked my dog down to the lake every day. He loved it. Also, I had a bike and took it down to the Burke Gilman Trail, almost every day. If you ride north, you go past the seaplane harbor in Kenmore, and you can stop at Logboom Park where there is a nice beach. Burke Gilman runs along the shore of Lake Washington, and there’s great views out onto the lake all along the trail. If you go south on Burke Gilman, you’ll go under the bridges and see the boats in the harbor and the Space Needle on the ridge. Great WIFI, storage and nice washer dryer, full kitchen, perfect HVAC. Extra nice hosts. Stay here!

When you think of "the good old days" of Airbnb; you likely reminisce about a time of communicative, genuine hosts who offer not just a short-term rental-- but a genuine passion for hosting travelers. This Airbnb, mostly because of the passion of Dina and her family, excels at bringing that nostalgia back. You will find the space packed in a humble area of NE Seattle, parked next a small lovely park and lake, popular for swimming in the summers. Dina was easily able to adapt to my uncertain arrival schedule, and made check-in beyond easy. More than anything, throughout the stay I felt truly and completely welcomed my her and her family, at one time even being graciously offered a meal from their family celebration. Throughout my stay, she was able to accommodate me and every question that inevitably popped up. I cannot recommend staying with Dina enough; and if I ever find myself in Seattle again I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Thank you for the lovely stay.

The room is very good, the location is very convenient, and the check-in instructions given by the host are very detailed and clear.Next time I have the opportunity to come to Seattle, I will choose to stay at this house

Joy’s carriage house apartment was comfortable and accommodating, well-appointed, immaculate and peaceful. Situated in a quiet neighborhood nearly on the lake shore, the apartment provided all the amenities one would need- and more- thoughtful additions above and beyond what any hotel would have! Great neighborhood and trails to walk, easy access to the cities nearby and shopping/restaurants/commerce. Having friendly hosts and neighbors were the cherry on top!
