Free parking, stylishly decorated, centrally located yet in a peaceful pocket of town, this beautiful 2-bedroom, south-facing apartment overlooks a tranquil, palm-fringed garden (not accessible). Newly refurbished with wood burning stove, full Fibre Optic WiFi, linen bedding & Nespresso coffee machine. (No large parties. ‘Quiet Listing’ as apartment is inside a house. Children welcome).

Quaint 1 Bed Cottage Near South Downs Pets Welcome

My place is close to the high street of Steyning which is a quaint and historical town located on the edge of the south downs national park. It has an array of interesting independant shops catering for all tastes , it is on a direct bus link to Brighton and the south coast as well as walking distance to the south downs . The cottage is good for couples, solo adventurers, business people and furry friends ( pets ) . It is small but perfectly formed but beware of the low ceilings and doorways.

Enter the flat by a spiral staircase into a welcoming, warm and comfortable space. The flat has retro inspired furniture and furnishings throughout. The sitting/dining room is a warm blue with little pops of colour, and has a great view over the garden to relax and have breakfast with. The kitchen and bathroom have a quirky design, and are clean and fresh feeling, having all the amenities you need. The bedroom has a comfortable standard double bed, blackout curtains and lots of hanging space.

10 minutes walk to the beach, Promenade, pier and shops, in a perfect location for those wanting to stay in Worthing. Only a 3 min walk to the hospital. Waitrose and Lidl are just across the road and there are dozens of pubs and restaurants plus the UK's oldest cinema, The Dome, all within half a mile. Free on street parking for a car is available but not guaranteed. The property is available for short stays until end of February 2026 and after that for longer stays of over four weeks.
