Host goes above and beyond to welcome you. Mini fridge and half size sink, burners don’t get to high heat so this is mostly for simple things like soup or reheating. However they made use of every inch so there’s a toaster oven and microwave and pots and pans. Views to die for much closer to the national park than anywhere else.

The place was perfect for my friend and I on a road trip. It was waking distance to everything you need. Very thoughtfully and artsy decorated. The space was so interesting and comfortable! I definitely recommend staying at Johanna’s Arcata home! We’ll be back again for sure!!

It was a magical stay for my cat Marty and I! The redwoods in the backyard are splendid and the tiny house was super comfortable. I throughly enjoyed the stay. One of my favorite airbnbs so far. The host is the absolute best too!

Definitely worth the money for the amenities, privacy and convenient location to town. I feel like all coastal homes have that wet-scent but otherwise had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay and more. The walkable paths in the back are note-worthy as well. Thank you.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The bed was comfortable, I was by myself but it is the perfect size for one or two people. Lots of natural sunlight and a nice, private backyard to relax in. The kitchen is well equipped. Easy access to the highway, shopping, the beach and hiking. The owner is very responsive to your questions and requests and offered a lot of suggestions for sight seeing and hiking. The is a garage that you can park in. It’s a great place.

What a charming little cottage in a beautiful and convenient location! Celine was so kind and helpful. She was so warm and welcoming to us and our dog, and she recommended trails and a dog park for us to visit. Location was conveniently near good restaurants and scenic places. This place was amazing!!!! Megan was so responsive and helpful. The place is comfortable and the host has really put a lot of thought into what a guest needs during their stay. It was a cold rainy weekend for us and the heat had been turned on before our arrival, not to mention the luxury of heated floors in the bathroom. The surroundings are so beautiful that you forget you are a 5 minute drive to everything. We are looking forward to coming back; it was a great experience

Great location for everything we needed. Visited Arcata to tour the campus with my daughter. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall a great experience, will stay there again if the opportunity presents itself!

This was our second time staying here. It is very comfortable and the location is perfect-close to everything and very walkable. We will be back.
