Cabin vacation rentals in Willow

Just as advertised this lake house is very relaxing and chill. The hot tub was a huge benefit. Host provided sanitary supplies, coffee, and a smores kit! Host was responsive to questions and we would definitely book again. This stay was late april so the lake wasnt fully thawed yet, I can imagine its even better in the summer when the water is open!

We had a wonderful time. What a beautiful lake and a wonderful hot tub! The cabin was so homey and had everything we needed. We enjoyed building a fire in the stove and watching movies while overlooking a beautiful lake. We would recommend this cabin and Shanna was very helpful!

My husband stayed at Jim’s property for three nights and there are not enough great things I can say about it. The cabin is beautiful and we felt right at home. Jim greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us the cabin and the property. The hot tub was easy to use and so nice to hang out in. We had a lovely evening hanging out with Jim and Teresa one night too. Fishing from the dock was fun too and there are a bunch of ways to get on the water if you would like too. The place was clean and clearly very loved. Overall this is a beautiful property and our time here was just perfect. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful cabin. We had some technical issues with the door lock but the host was very quick to respond and help us resolve the issue. The cabin was secluded and had a gorgeous view. The wood fired hot tub was so amazing to use at night when it was cold. I’ll definitely come back the next time we come to Alaska. 10/10

Joe and Leslie were great hosts, they provided us coffee, goodies and fresh eggs as an unexpected serendipity. They were very responsive to any questions. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The place and surrounding area was extremely quiet. I slept great every night! Thank you Joe and Leslie, for your attention to detail!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Canoe Cabin! Jennifer and Jay have created such a warm, inviting space—it’s clear they’ve thought of every detail to make guests feel comfortable and welcomed. The cabin was perfect for our weeklong stay with our two children and their spouses. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax, and the thoughtful touches throughout the home made it feel like a true getaway. The kitchen was especially well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare and enjoy several home-cooked meals together, which made our time even more special. We’re so grateful for the care and hospitality Jennifer and Jay put into this place. Canoe Cabin is a gem—we would absolutely love to return!

Cozy cabin in a quiet neighborhood. It's an easy walk through the woods to 'downtown' Talkeetna. It was perfect for our overnight stay!

Me and my sister loved this place!! I wish we could’ve stayed for longer but our itinerary had to be changed for coordination reasons. Our favorite was the relaxing sauna, which was perfect, and we took a nice bath/jacuzzi with the bath salts that was amazing. I had one of the best sleeps on this trip in the loft bed, which was SO COZY. all the thoughtful details, amenities, and decor were so perfect, I wish I could give this place 10/5 stars!

We were fortunate to visit with Travis and he told us that his cabin was built in 1933 and has been used for many things over the years such as a coffee house and an office. It is listed on the Historic Tour for Talkeetna. Now it is a cute Airbnb with a modern kitchen, washer and dryer and a bathroom with tub and shower. It is within walking distance of restaurants and stores. We enjoyed sitting on the porch. If we return to Talkeetna, we hope to stay here again.

Was a lovely location on the river not far from town. Was clean, comfortable, and loved that there were board games available in the main lobby. We will definitely be back.

Amazing cabin experience! Close to the lake and very peaceful!!

We stayed at the Fireweed Guesthouse for two nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The cabin was impeccably clean and thoughtfully stocked with every amenity imaginable- even things we didn't realize we needed until we saw them, such as lavender bubble bath to relax after a cold, windy day. There were even sleep masks and noise machines on the bedside tables. The view from the deck was stunning, making it the perfect spot to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. Despite another cabin nearby, the property felt completely private. We didn't see or hear another soul during our stay, which made the tranquility even more enjoyable. We appreciated the early check-in time, as we were traveling with my parents who are in their seventies and needed some extra downtime. Timothy even offered to let us stay past checkout time. We highly recommend the Fireweed Guesthouse for anyone looking for a quiet and well-appointed retreat.

Such a cute yurt! So close to Anchorage so it’s not too long of a drive. Beautiful lake views with a short walk. Quiet and peaceful. Couldn’t have asked for better.

Took a boys trip with 3 friends and I selected Susanna’s home as our second choice as our first choice had raised the price of rental. This was easily the best decision we made. Susanna’s home in Wasilla was a prime location for our boys trip as we were able to adventure in any direction and enjoy amazing sights without having to drive an extra hour if you’re staying in downtown Anchorage. I was impressed with all of the amenities offered by Susannas home. The kitchen was very spacious and was stocked with every seasoning we could need. It often became our central gathering area of the house. Another treat to be able to view the Aurora Borealis from the comfort of the outside deck. Huddling around the fire pit was also very calming during these snowy nights. Overall, I would say this home is excellent place for you and your family (or friends) to stay if you want to enjoy the natural beauty of Lower Alaska without having to drive too far. This is a great place to stay. Nice and clean and a great view of the airport just below the cabin. We watched planes and yet the noise was very minimal. Everything we needed was right there. It was easy access to groceries, and the restaurants and close to the lakes. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Enjoyed this cabin so much we couldn't wait to go back. This is our second time in one month. So cozy with all the amenities. Fun times roasting marshmallows at the outside fire pit with views of the snow covered mountains. Wonderful Nordic skiing on groomed trails in Hatchers pass at independence mine and archangel road. Great way to celebrate solstice in Alaska !
